The Sony BKB50 keyboard that ships with the Z4 Tablet is quite a nice bit of kit, but I'd like to be able to tweak its timeout duration. Does anyone know if this keyboard is firmware upgradeable? I can't see anything about it anywhere.
Yes, its firmware is upgradeable. I haven't chcecked for any available via Sony Companion as of yet, though
I've got a Mac and I can't see a PC Companion download for that, so I'm unable to check.

I've just tried with the Mac Bridge software and that claims the software versions are up to date. The PC and Mac software should offer the same updates shouldn't they?

What does the updat bring anyone know?
Keyboard updated to 1.08, timeout is definately longer.
Just to confirm, just updated the firmware OTA to the latest 1.08. The timeout is now way longer + few minor bugfixes and improved overall performance.

Intro:
Information Ticker is kind of a widget in lockscreen that displays News, Stocks or Facebook updates in a small, expandable bar at the bottom of the lockscreen.
Miky500 started a thread, asking for that feature to be "ported" to the Galaxy S Advance.
Chirag_Galani mentioned me in a reply on this thread, telling me to "work"D LOL) on it(?).
Dr01nE replied too telling us how that feature is called and named a couple of files that might have to be edited in order to make this feature work.
panda00 gave us a possible way to make this work by posting.
Then, using the name that Dr01nE gave us and following panda00's instructions I have managed to enable this feature. I did nothing, really, everything I did was panda00's instructions. Thank HIM!
Enable this feature by yourself following the simple guide below or just use one of the pre-modded files from the "Downloads" section below.

Assuming you are familiar with the decompiling/recompiling process follow the steps below:
1. Decompile SecSettings.apk
2. Browse to SecSettings/smali/com/android/settings.
3. Open LockScreenSettings.smali using Notepad++
4. Search for these lines:
invoke-virtual {p0}, Lcom/android/settings/LockScreenSettings;->getPreferenceScreen()Landroid/preference/PreferenceScreen;
move-result-object v9
iget-object v10, p0, Lcom/android/settings/LockScreenSettings;->mInformationTicker:Landroid/preference/SwitchPreferenceScreen;

5. Mark those exact lines and delete them.
6. Save the file.
7. Recompile SecSettings.apk.
Done!
Now just push inside /system/app, set the right permissions, and reboot. Go to Lockscreen Settings and look for the "Information Ticker" option.

Thanks for the great theme.
Just a couple of issues I've noticed with the stock Email app.
1. When an email has been opened, the "Subject" line is invisible (font same colour as background) - pic attached.
2. When adding a recipient for an email, the font used for the list of suggested contacts is a dark grey on a black background which is difficult to read.
Anyway, many thanks for the theme.

Sorry this is the only latest version that work with non nexus phones. I heard that Google prevent this app for non nexus devices.
And to get original Android caller Ui goto
Settings - > default applications - > phone app
And set phone(Google dialer) as default application.
I installed this one and then 3.01.08 rc8 and set it to default and it is working perfectly. Thanks!!

I got lastet update in June with June security patch. Try to install open EU, maybe your carrier is lazy.
