Download themes and putt them on SD Card in a folder called HWThemes.
To start apply third-party themes, you must first apply a theme: Default (magazine) .hwt it is built into the firmware.
After applying Default theme you can apply custon themes!

Hi.
First link is for CN or China base firmware.
Seccond link is for ROW, Rest Of the World base firmware.
In the 3-rd lik is for firmware developed by the awsome developers from 4PDA forum and Lenovo forum.ru. It is some firmware thai i have not tried.... yet

thanks for the reply. i thought row+ rom is for phones manufactured after 03-2014. now my doubt is cleared.
Is this good? As in, the ROM not the EMUI!! I love the EMUI and want to try it... Any major issues?

MiUI and EMUI are totally different. MIUI is the UI created by Xiaomi for their phones. EMUI is Emotion UI created by Huawei for their phones. Completely different in structure, but similar in looks (a little.) So if you want to back up your apps from EMUI to MIUI you will HAVE to use an app like Titanium Backup and back them up on SD card.

Woah, nice SS man! This ROM looks amazing. Please update us about the RAM management and the battery life. Is there any major lag?

RAM management is very good, much better than miui or equal to slx rom(if u have used it).battery life rocks .
Bugs I have found so far is that themes are not applied or customized and xposed not working. Else everything Woking fine.attaching SS as requested.both images of lock screen

Hi. System apk or zip ate for some modifications of icons and some sliding efects. Backup the file and try.

So I tried this ROM and have a few tips and pointers for those who are flashing it:
1) The icons and wallpapers are weird at the start so the moment you install this ROM and boot, go to Themes and change the theme to Default(Magazine) theme so that everything becomes materialistic and stuff.
2) The Language of the ROM is some weird one at beginning (Russian maybe) so change it to English
3) The Keyboard is weird at beginning, not the normal one, so you may have to download a better one like Google Keyboard etc.
4) It shows the SD card as Internal Memory for some reason and the Built in one as external. I don't know why but doesn't make much of a difference.
EDIT: 5) Also don't forget to install Systemui.apk as it imporves the icons a bit and the animations as Stympy said above. And the theme folders have loads of themes that you can download but haven't tried them yet.
Otherwise, the ROM is beautiful. Somewhat similar to MiUI but also different at the same time. NO major lags or stutters. Materialistic, (not animations just looks) and battery and RAM management seems fantastic. Try it. Try it now.
For themes to work in this ROM,first change theme from default to gleam and then apply any theme. Customization is similar to that in miui without any lag so far.

The SD card memory is shown as the internal memory in this ROM.
So then can you repartition the actual internal memory, so that you'll have as much memory as possible to install your apps?
Themes is not working for me, even i tried first default theme then changed to gleam, then tried others but th e y not changed.
Only themes working is default and g leam. Please help.

Yes it's working, it's only a simple "tweak" added into build.prop file that enable the GPU to take care of the overall smoothness of the rom.
It's also included into my HyperSense
I'd like to see some screenshots, and know what's working and not working.

This rom is simply based on MIUI (latest?) with the "addition" to have Launcher 7 and other little apps pre-installed to look like Windows Phone 7
Personally, since 3 days, I'm testing the latest OxygeN1mod FINALE and I have installed those apps and now I can say that my N1 seems to be a Windows Phone
I'll post some screens maybe, even though it's not related to this rom.
I repeat: this rom is based on MIUI, where OxygeN1mod is based on AOSP (stock Google Gingerbread) with some tweaks even from CM7
EDIT: This is how OxygeN1mod looks like with all my modifications

I doubt this makes any difference. If I'm not mistaken, it is enabled by default.
I have a GPS issue seems like signal comes and go even though I am out side?

I'm loving this ROM, however, I have a slight problem with A2SD, it shows 1GB available and 1GB free. All apps are being downloaded to internal storage and the phone is now full and all other apps are failing to install
I downloaded the A2SD GUI app and it says Apps on SD is enabled, but it is not working. How do I enable A2SD?
EDIT: I think I fixed the issue by disabling A2SD from the GUI and then Re-Enabling it.
The app also tells me that Zipalign is not set to run on boot & that Dalvik-Cache is on Internal Storage.
Should I change these settings?
I would also like to know if this app has any Power Saving options built in? or should I use SetCPU for that [which I own]?
Lastly I noticed that quite a lot of apps I own do not show up on the Market, is there a way to fix this?
Otherwise this will be my daily ROM for a long time

I don't know all the differences but it is not same as the Nitin's miui; it includes something from Hpa and it includes volume plus.
I can't read Korean so i can't understand all the differences.

Be sure,it will work.I tried these settings many times.
Seems to work fine. A few cool apps have been added. Overall looks nice.
English Language
This Rom already have EN language, Setting > System > Input and Language, certainly by Korean language in the firstboot. I don't know Korean but I remember position of setting button when I set up my DS.
This Rom's slower than the first 2.2.40 MIUI rom and non support Unicode font
I am running this since last night and extended MIUI settings app works. Battery life is perhaps the best I have seen on any of the MIUI versions I have used on my Streak so far....

Nice rom
Well, a short review after clean install of this ROM
FIXED/ENHANCEMENTS:
1) wifi issues
2) app drawer works
3) clear voice however loudness bug still exists
4) superSU instead of SU
5) Keyboard skin and customization
Bugs/broken:
1) DND mode force closes
2) Music player lyrics
3) LED notification still buggy
4) app drawer can't be enabled on boot
5) xiaomi passport backup still doesn't work
6) localization issues, not many languages supported
7) battery life seems to be better but may show different result after calibration
End result: uninstalled after 6 hrs of use, reverting to fake CM9

But I think there are some few problms/bugs
OTA is not working
OTA available but when downloaded it gives error (md5 error downloaded file is invalid)
Also the app drawer we cant modify/transperency is not happening (Or else need to change the Launcher)
Also i think there is some issue with network. will confirm by checking with different locations and different sim cards
HI Dev is it possible for you to change the contacts dialer and dialing screen.Or else is it possible to change the UI with same as Galaxy S4 with all the features of this ROM

MD5 Error occurs when the downloaded file is corrupted. Try downloading the Update again.
There are some bugs in Trebuchet Settings
Network is working fine for me.

You can Flash using CWM but there may be a problem in flashing OTA Updates!

Still now not found much issue but some of my reviews are below I am waiting for others to provide the review too
1. Batery Backup superb
2. ROM is very smooth and stable no lag and no flikering full stable
3.With more features
4. UI is almost similar to Micromax stock UI with trebutche launcher in which I am unable to do anything with my app drawer cant change its transperency cant rearrange apps and no hiding of apps. No issue will use Holo Launcher HD or Touchwiz Launcher.
5.with XPosed installer inbuilt in settings and framework we dont require to install these apps. Moreover in settings section we can find plenty of Xposed Modules which we can use to modify the ROM its usage and looks.
6. Though I am facing some issue with Network. Sometime my 3G conncetivity gets lost and disconnected (Need to confirm on this as I am in my work place so will comment on this again soon later)
7. Some issue with OTA as I am unable to update or install it and gives an error.
8. Cynaogen Wallpapers are very nice and clearity of ROM is good with good exposure display
9. I have tested almost all roms on this xda section and else where but found this to be stable cos by using XPOSED framework many ROMS are unstable.
Also i am little updating my build.prop script for self use as of now to check the network issue and increase some more speed effect and ram also
In all most nice smooth usable ROM for daily use

the only rom in which my camera is working
bugs:
1:in settings>brightness>it force closes
2:there is no sim management in settings
3:if possible please replace the dialer with the one in canvas hd
4:also there is some problem with mount points, it shows mnt>sdcard and storage>sdcard0 and everything gets doubled
and thanks for uploading it on google drive!!! at my hostel everything is blocked except google drive

1. Batery Backup superb playing Games and everything Multitasking Good
2. ROM is very smooth and stable no lag and no flikering full stable
3.With more features
4. UI is almost similar to Micromax stock UI with trebutche launcher in which I am unable to do anything with my app drawer cant change its transperency cant rearrange apps and no hiding of apps. No issue will use Holo Launcher HD or Touchwiz Launcher.
5.with XPosed installer inbuilt in settings and framework we dont require to install these apps. Moreover in settings section we can find plenty of Xposed Modules which we can use to modify the ROM its usage and looks.
6. No issues with network checked from different locations and different sim cards.
7. (Edit: Hey Guys OTA is working now for me for which I have to delete the OTA updater folder from Memory Card and tried it three times later it did. New OTA is change of Bootanimation)
8. Cynaogen Wallpapers are very nice and clearity of ROM is good with good exposure display
9. I have tested almost all roms on this xda section and else where but found this to be stable cos by using XPOSED framework many ROMS are unstable.
10. I am able to use 3G on both SIM cards but I am unable find it in setting section I am able to use 3G and change settings only by using xposed framework or else without xposed framework when interchange simcards it pop up the setting of change of SIM cards where i can change the 3G service to whichvere sim slot i want.
11.Most usefull GPS properly is working providing accurate location.
12. Wifi HOtspot Therthering working

Hey u can delete those double files generated
yes facing brightness issue but no issue we can change from status bar also when we use xpose framework its not giving any issue even from settings
also there is no sim management but when you interchange sim cards on different slots after booting it will pop up change of sim detected and from there you can go to sim management.

that is a good rom i tested it on my phone .... the version 0.3 is the 1 st coustum rom i installed and the update was very good to 0.7

i dont think so, ive successfully download canvas HD and another, i think original file hosting is bad for my country..
but at last ive succesed when i found that life rom support torrent link :laugh:

Probably the best rom available.
Just 1 question: Is there an option to turn screen on when pressing volume buttons? It's the only thing I haven't found in this rom, which exist in most of the other.

Install by recovery: CWM or TWRP.

Unfortunately this doesn't work. More precisely the phone cannot boot now, I had to go for a system restore.

No. Here is some small russian apk that do exactcly what you want. I recomend that you buy a magnetic case. I have one and is the best thing i buyed for this phone .
The main desatdvantage of this apk is... in russian. Maybe i could translate tonight. Oh by the way you need root acces for this small apk. I tested right now and is working.

Description
Rom for Lenovo P780
base : VIBEUI_V1.5_1423_9_ST_P780_5B7B
Removed all chinese and Lenovo applications whitout camera and gallery.
Added GAPPS, ROOT and some stock apps
This rom is multilanguage, contain about 70 languages.
Install ROM :
- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select the MT6589_Android_scatter.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
–> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- choose DA DL All With Check Sum
- Turn off your phone, (push the red reset button)
- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow, if no, then have to install the driver from Flash toolSP_Drivers_v1.5 folder
- And green circles display
- Finish !
- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.

Its awful.
It lags continuously, even though it is supposed to be kitkat. There is a buggy implementation of speech recognition which is NOT google now, as it should be. Even though it is a translated version of the chinese ROM and free of chinese apps, some rough translation problems emerge every now and then. I thought it would feel like proper kitkat but it doesn't. For me its a total fail
At first look seems to be good, but when you get more deep in to the settings and install apps seems yo get more errors,apps that freez, crushes,etc etc.
NOT RECCOMENDET ROM.

Anyone know how to set to use SIM card contacts? Seems like KitKat 4.4 contacts must be from gmail account and will not take from SIM card. I am having different contacts on SIM1 and SIM2 for work and personal and I do not want to merge them and stored at my gmail account. Thanks.

ROM needs a lot of work to be done - Please don't flash
I appreciate the work done by OP but this ROM really needs to be removed from this thread. Feel sorry to neglect the warnings given by previous posts.. I just installed it and removed it within an hour of using it.. For sake of others time and efforts i am provinding the list of bugs found and reason why this ROM needs a lot of improvement.
My Device Details :
Lenovo P780 Indian / Custom S124_ROW / 8GB
Issues with this ROM -
Does not detect SD storage
2G signal not detected only 3G
Plenty of Fc's while installing apps from playstore
Some how Root explorer or any other file manager fails to write on system partition, even though all read write permissions are granted
In short untill further information or any update i suggest all flashing manics to stay away from this.
Hope I saved some time here !!
