B322 Out - Huawei Ascend Mate 2

Just got the 322 update. Hoping for good things. Installing as we speak.
Apparently lockscreen notifications have been addressed as well as issue with losing APN settings occasionally.
I'm not sure if all users will get the update, but some should see 322.

Wouldn't make sense to do it that way. Would leave half the phones untested. Maybe just moving slow.

@Moody66 @Thelgster@p51d007
Try to remember that in order to get OTA you must be completely Stock, no root, no custom recovery, no modded prop files etc....
Moody66 for public knowledge do you just put that zip of b321 in the Hwouc folder on the internal memory and select local update

It's like all the rest. You can do it that way or unzip it. It will unzip to dload folder with the update.app inside. Plqce in root od sd card and flash that way.

Wouldn't even know where to find the file. Plus, I'm not sure if Huawei would want it uploaded. If you can tell me where I might find the file on my device after the update, I'll have a look. I can also ask Taylor over at the Huawei site if I can upload for others then.

Oh, I'm stock...after 309, I got the OTA 320 & 321, but not the 322...yet. Anyone know if it was pushed to all, or just a select group?

They are no longer uploading the firmware files. The reason? Someone shared them publicly. Like on XDA. Stop asking for uploads. That party is over.

Yup. I was asked not to share any files, so I will honour their wishes. Sorry guys. I was told that a new beta build will be made public soon though.

They haven't been taken down yet. All other ROMS still can be downloaded.
Looks like the file permissions are not set properly for the file. The permissions set are different from all the other files that can be downloaded, not sure if this was intentional or not.

[Q] Purchased Apps not showing in Bell GB

I just recently installed the new Bell 2.3.4 gingerbread update, and some of my purchased apps aren't showing. Went on the android market website, and apparently my phone isn't compatible anymore. Is there a way to bypass the market compatibility check?
You have Bell GingerBread? How did you get it? OTA or did you download the build that a bunch of devs are working on in the dev section?
Because as far as i know they haven't released it yet...?!?!?!

I also would like a work around for compatibility, this simply makes no sense 2.3.4 should be MORE compatible then 2.2.3 !
oh this problem. probably fixed with editing the build prop used to happen to those of us that got to jump to froyo early.

My Net App

Forgive me first off if this post exists somewhere else in this forum. I have looked with very little result. I recently rooted my device Cm-10.1 all went well. What I am missing or was not included was the My Net app from the tablet. A lot of people said you could find it on the ASUS site .. ummm NO unless I missed it. Could someone attach that APP to this post please.

How are yoiu installing it? You will need to push to system/app manually and change permissions yourself I would imagine.

Doubt that will work.
Here I have made an installer for you - try flashing this. I suspect it won't work on anything but a stock based rom due to some reliance on Asus framework files.

Thank u for your advices.
U mean the path "/system/lib", right?
I have found 4 files (below) which contain "camera" in their names, but just have no idea to add into apk file.
Is there any possibility to the files that don't contain "camera", but are relative to the camera?

Once you find out the dependent files (Re-read the guide) you take these files and package them in CWM flashable .zip not necessarily adding them into the apk file.

Oh, really? That's kinda nice, although yeah the depth-of-field working would sure be nice. I'll have to try it out tonight. I can just use the .apk from the OP, correct?
Well I tried installing that .apk from the OP. Had to allow installation from unknown sources first, then after hitting Install, it asked me to give Google permission to send data and whatever else. Regardless if I select Accept or Decline, I always get an "App not installed" message.
Damnit, I was looking forward to using it! I think I'm gonna try stripping it from the stock ROM myself.

Alrighty, thanks. I actually was searching for PixelMaster .apk this weekend but didn't have much luck besides seeing a ton of frickin spam sites masking as legit .apk download sites. I'll do another search tonight.
Hopefully I can get the .apk to install. It sure would be nice to have the depth-of-field working, but after skimming through that thread linked earlier (How to Port OEM Apps to Your Current ROM) there's no way I can follow that. It's nice the guy put together a guide, but being unfamiliar with this stuff I need to follow something written in clear English.
I guess the ASUS Camera app was easier to find than I thought. The first time I tried it was nothing but spam site after spam site. Maybe it was Bing's fault, haha.
But I got version 2.0.0.150805_5 and it installed with no problem and works great. Thanks for your help, ejames2001, I appreciate it.

[APP][EMUI 4.1 / EMUI 5]Huawei compass apk

Hi all guys, yesterday i was giving a deep look at system apps until I've noticed that the Huawei compass app, that i always thought was a system app too, could be totally uninstalled from my phone and not only deactivated like other system apps. So, before removing it i had take a backup of it with ApkExtractorLite, since that it could come useful in future but not at the moment. The reason for me to open this thread is that with the APK that i had obtained from the extraction, I wasn't able to reinstall the app because when i try to launch it i get an error that says something that, due my distraction, i didn't screenshot or take note 'bout it before trash it. Now that i've got it back, i put it here for everyone.
*A little note
Dunno if this could be related to some protections that Huawei could have wrote in their apps, or if the package was just corrupted (even if i strongly believe that it couldn't be since that i use ApkExtractorLite from more than one year and it never missed a shot)
SOLVED! If you need it, download the apk that you can find in attachments. The first one is for EMUI 4, the 2nd one is for EMUI 5
*UPDATE* I've just noticed that after that i updated my device to EMUI 5, the compass app doesn't work anymore. Plus, i get an error that says "Compass is incompatible with this system version" so I'll update the thread specifying that it'll works only on EMUI 4.1. If someone will find a version that is compatible with EMUI 5 before me, if it exists, write here and I'll be glad to put it here for anyone that could find it useful.

Thanks for the tentative man, but the result was the same that I've got with my APK extracted and that i now remember, as you can see in attachments. I'm italian, so I'll translate for everyone else: "Analysis error - error meanwhile the package analysis"
And this is the reason that force me to think that there is some kind of protection by Huawei on their apps... If i have a 6X, and i try to install an app that was on 6X's stock rom, why the f*** the app installation should go wrong?
Thanks anyway, but i still need help

Sounds incompatible with your actual build, i got the same error as described in the previous page; but this is because every apk has its own signature, and if mine is made for BLN-L21C432, it could not work if installed on a BLL-L21, for example, so... what's your build number for extended? Mine is BLN-L21C432B36x. Never found an app that works on every model by the way

And that's why it won't work. Because Huawei surely made every apk compatible with its own original build and no one else. This means that you'll have to find someone who owns a BLN-L22 device and ask for the compass apk... mine will work only if on BLN-L21C432 (yeah, this truly sucks!)
