I installed sixaxis controller app on my tronfy mx IV telos smart TV BOX. I have tried several Sixaxis versions. As "Google play services stopped" pop out every few seconds when i opened the Sixaxis, which made me kind of disappointed, though the other apps works fine. Any clue?
I found some users complain about the problem of Sixaxis (0.6, 0.7, 0.8, 0.8.2 and 0.8.3 versions) not doing well with Tronfy MX4 telos TV Box, as the Google play services will stop when hit start in sixaxis controller app. here I find a fix in freaktab.com. http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-support/amlogic-based-tv-players/520291-tronfy-mx-iv-telos-sixaxis-controller-error?_=1440417269249
Hi, versions 0.6 & 0.7 of sixaxis will never work on any amlogic Tv box not just the tronfy as there is a bug in the sixaxis app & it was only fixed in version 0.8 & above,
If you try any version below 0.80 on any amlogic device it will result in a segmentation fault.
So to confirm if you want to use the sixaxis app on the tronfy you will need to use version 0.8.1 & uninstall the updates on the google play services app to version 6.7.80

Hi, anyone trying to play Shadowguneadzone with Sixaxis (PS3 controller, 4.1.2 rooted stock)? I play a lot with this combo on Nexus 7 (works great), but when I tried today (bought HDMI dongle - trying to play on TV), gamepad will disconnect as soon as I start game in deadzone (e.g. select deathmatch).
When I switch back to sixaxis and pair the gamepad again, the game restarts.
EDIT: My bad, got it working (I didn't have Sixaxis IME selected). And I'm too lame to know how to delete the thread.

How did you manage the keys? i've found one map online but that one doesnt work with note 2.

I've recently bought the fire HD 6, and was thinking if there are any compatible bluetooth game controllers.
I was thinking to connect it to the TV and use it as a sort of android game console.

Root and use a PS3 controller is probably your best bet.
The Ouya controller work just fine. Just press the OUYA button (located on the low center in the controller), and when two light start blinking, search as any device at bluethooth menu.
The Ouya controller has an integrated touchpad and can be used as a mouse on your screen. But if you're planning to play a game, remember it's depend if that game has the controller button mapping or you'll need to use Tincore Keymapper to do it manually.
I already rooted my KHD6, so I did the controller test after root, but I'm pretty sure you don't need the root to make it work. I use the same controller on my NON-ROOTED Fire Stick TV and works just fine.
PS4 Controller works like a charm, Played Pokemon On Myboy for a little while, while it was linked to my Chromecast.
I would say a PS4 Controller works out of the box as well, as I wasent rooted at the time.

I just bought this controller about week ago and it work with HD6 (I only use GBC,GBA, and Drastic emulators). They work good so far. I haven't test any Android games yet, but I assume it work fine. This controller is awesome. I used with my HD6, phone, and laptop. Recommended!

Maybe now it's too late but I just saw your post now. I have an M8s Pro L and I use the DroidMote app to play games using a smartphone as a remote control. It Works very well.
You can play Real Race 3 tilting your smartphone to turn the steering wheel as you normally do playing on your phone.
Gamepads work fine for me.
Download octopus from the play store. Use es file explorer on your phone to make a backup of the app. Then use es file explorer to send it from the phone to the box. I can't post links yet but if you search octopus and game it's like the first thing that pops up.
Hi friends, I have a problem with the sixaxis controller application.
Since I changed my smartphone (xiaomi mi 8 with miui 10) the application no longer works. the application is not compatible with the miui I think.
can anyone tell me if there is an alternative application to connect the controller of the playstation 3 to the smartphone via bluetooth?
If this is not possible, can you tell me which controller to buy compatible with android and which application to play wireless?
I'm tried using both Octopus (which crashes when I try to launch PS4 Remote Play) and Game Controller 2 Touch Pro, both don't allow button overlays to work with the PS4 Remote Play app. Furthermore, I've tried taking screenshots and videos of the PS4 Remote Play app (so that I could use the screenshot to set the button mapping) and that doesn't work either. Are there any gamepad mapping tools that would allow onscreen mapping that works with PS4 Remote Play?
