Because both sites, youmobile and sammobile, have an speedlimit set on 200 KBS so it take More than one hour to download the update.
And my download failed at the half, so it is very frustrating.

On which devices you want to install it? Remember that it works only on Nougat, so basically only on Nexus phones. There is a mod for 5X and 6P, if you want to.

Playstore is never enabled on this phone, you get it from the lestore or flash it yourself.

I wonder if you can do a dirty flash over instead of wiping data again. I'll probably do a dirty flash on top of the stock 18s
I've done that. I dirty flashed on top of bshuy's 19s rom and everything works perfectly.
I can't flash it. In fact i can but it doesn't work(same for dev version). Flashing from TWRP is fine but on a first boot i get some splash screen with 3-4 sentences in chinese. One of them have word "Google". Below that is some button but i don't understand what does it says. If i press it nothing happens. Only thing i can do - restart.

Hmmmm maybe is something with TWRP? I am using that ffboy2009 f2fs version... Nevermind, staying on Mokee.

I use miui 9.6.4.0 and I update to miui 10 using recovery. You can do it that same from my link

Did the local backups works well for you?
In my case. There's a lot of apps that said is not compatible.
In miui 10 China the local backup, with the same apks works perfectly, and there is an option to do the backup directly in usb, not in this rom.
