Keyboard Case - Shield Tablet Accessories

Like the title, is there a keyboard case out there? I emailed poetic about a year ago and they said they'd look into it. Nothing came out of that.
A tracpad would also be a huge plus.

Try this http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msusa/en_US/pdp/Universal-Mobile-Keyboard/productID.307251500 or this http://www.amazon.com/ZAGG-Autofit-Bluetooth-Keyboard-Android/dp/B00MSOHDR4/ref=cm_wl_huc_item
I am also in the market for one.

The auto-fit does work for this, but I remember people posting that it scratched the corners last time it was posted.

So has anyone used the MS keyboard offering with great results? I've been trying to source a reliable keyboard ever since I obtained my tablet from Swappa during the Spring.

I'd like to buy a tilt 2 stylus!

Okay, so since I'm having an issue with the styluses (I believe it's proper grammer?) I'd like to purchase one from one of you guys here. If i'm not mistaken, when you buy a New Tilt 2 It comes with an extra stylus. So, I want the original charocoal stylus. If anyone has one PM me or just post here. It'd be greatly appreciated.
Actually, since you asked...
From wikipedia:
There exists minor controversy about the correct pluralization of "stylus". The form "styli" or even "stylii" has become acceptable, even among major American manufacturers of styluses and online dictionaries, based on the assertion that it is a direct loanword from Latin. However, "stylus" is in fact an English word based on the Latin word "stilus", and is more appropriately pluralized in English as "styluses". Use of "stylii" is considered incorrect, as it is based on the nonexistent Latin word "stylius".

So, you are indeed correct! lol sorry, I just get a kick out of that every time I hear it.
Wow lol, so I have been right the whole time. I'm always seeing threads where people say "styli" and I get discouraged from using "styluses" in fear I may be wrong. This clears up everything and now... I will rule the world of styluses...
Please post your request in the marketplace forum.
Russ
They sell them on ebay all day long.

I just bought 3 through HTCPedia and though the price was good (3 for $19.99 incl. shipping) they turned out to be for Touch Pro 2 not the Tilt 2, so they were gray and chrome as opposed to charcoal and chrome. When I went back and looked at the site closer, I found I could have bought the AT&T colored stylus at $9.99 for one. I also wanted to comment on one peculiar thing about my purchase. Shipping within the US is free, okay great it takes 7-8 days to arrive, but it was free. When they show up, they show up in an envelope smaller than normal first class mail which begs the question, why in the hell did I have to wait 8 days for a tiny envelope to make it from one coast to the other when even standard mail would have maid it in 3? Really FedEx ground is the choice for sending an envelope than was barely 3" x 5"??
If I order again, maybe I will send them a SASE. Ha

Dash Genie in Car Holder

http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/dash-genie-in-car-holder-p23796.htm
Has anyone used this with Touch Pro2?
According to HD2 forums - works fine with their unit - but am wondering if any owners of Touch Pro2 have tried this?
Thanks/DD
I'd like to know this as well. I can't find it available to ship anywhere to the USA... :-(
Ha! It is so simple and universal. I want this
I second that.
I don't think it will work well with the tilt 2 because you need to have a smooth back to the phone, and the speaker on the tilt 2 would likely prevent a good seal. Also, it doesn't appear to swivel for landscape viewing, which is a major drawback.
Anyone find something else that swivels but holds the phone so that the keyboard can come out?
Can only find it in the UK. Have posted several requests for shipping to the US. I'll let ya'll know when I hear something.

Found this on one of the sites:
"Mobile Fun Limited is VAT registered...
Goods cannot be supplied outside the EU (European Union)."
UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Finally found a shipper who sells these and ships outside the EU!!!!!!!!!

I don't know where you're from, but here in Europe I've found this:
http://www.expansys.com/d.aspx?i=188270
I'm thinking of buying one for me also.
Cheers.
I'm from the states, and most places wouldn't sell outside the EU.
OK, I just got the Dash Genie from Superetrader.com and so far my wife and I really like it! I will probably have to order another one just for her (even though she didn't want one at first, I think she plans on taking mine over!!!!!)
If any one was thinking about getting one, DO! I think the ones offered in the states are too bulky and ugly, but this is one sllek model. You'll like it, too (in my opinion!).
I've been using a brodit mount : http://www.brodit.com/images/512163.jpg which I've found brillant, charges, can be used in both vertical and horizontal, and can also be used with the keyboard, price is a bit high at about £40, but can be found on e-bay from time to time.
I have this one:
http://www.obostore.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=21_41&products_id=61
Works great in my truck.

Also, check out this thread for comparison of the cases. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=943981

Second that - I have the P3 and think it is great except for the obscuring of the back button, which I plan to fix but have not pulled out the knife yet.
thanks for the referrals... Yes, If (when) I have things in stock I'll do my best to take care of you. I am expecting several things in this week, m1's, p3's, p4's, and more docks. If you check a particular product on the site I will update the 'estimated in stock by...' date as SOON as I have a tracking number in hand. It's never 100% correct but I've only been off one day one time. Also (for those that don't already know) it's VERY beneficial for you to create an account there and 'subscribe' to the newsletter (you might get notice before others do )
good luck, and enjoy your tab!
Thank you all for the advice.
Also I know the rules to do not ask about honeycomb lol.....seen alot of people asking and get burned.
Running tnt lite and this tab has replaced my netbook.

incipio cases

hey all,
I saw a guy in a coffee shop the other day with an incipio case for his ipad. I was very impressed with the features and build quality offered for the price. I have sent them an email including the engadget article about the tf outselling its competitors to provide a little encouragement. Take a look at there site and if you like what you see do the same. Below is that link and the one to their site.
http://www.engadget.com/2011/06/13/asus-to-ship-300-000-eee-pad-transformers-in-june-surpass-all-n/
http://www.myincipio.com/Cases-And-Accesories/Tablet-Cases.asp
AND... their folio cases use clips instead of the bezel covering method that most are using now.
that indeed looks great. please post if you hear bac from them, I'm interested
I agree that looks a nice solution and I could see myself using one of the kickstand cases if they go ahead and make one for the Transformer.

i love incipio's cases, and have had them on pretty much every gadget that i owned that they made a case for...i'll def be emailing them to see if they can make something for the TF.
A few of us in another thread emailed them. They said they have no plans for one...
It really pisses me off. I NEED a gel case.
Sent from my Transformer TF101 using XDA Premium App
If a bunch of us keep emailing I'm sure they'll make one
I just send them another mentioning this thread with 300 views in a day. Their market planners arnt the best it seems.

Wow, great case. Sending an email right now.

nice! i wonder which case(s) they are planning to make
yep got the same reply signed up for notification
I have their two-piece gel/plastic cover on my iPhone and love it. Hope they come up with a similar product for the TF.
i adore their feather cases, and if they made one, i have a feeling it would work with the keyboard dock, which would be double awesome
It has been a month... Has anyone on their notification list received any news? I still don't see anything on their website and wanted to wait to see their options before selecting a case. If this is much longer, though, I think I will be looking at Tuff Luv.
Still no news on their website. They have cases for some other tablets though which seems to be a good sign.
this is getting annoying!!! apparently these morons who make cases don't do that much research....if they did...they would know that asus is one of the better selling tablets right now....but they make ones for blackberry playbook and not the tf101.
They made for Galaxy Tab, Xoom and Playbook.
That email on last page said they are making one for Transformer though. Don't give up hope

incipio = fail!
here are two emails i got from them:
Hello,
Thank you for your inquiry. We currently do have plans on releasing Kickstand Cases for the Asus Transformer. These are still in production and unfortunately have yet to be released. If you wish to be placed on our notification list for these cases, please reply directly to this email indicating your interest. Please feel free to contact us with any further questions or concerns.
Hello,
Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately we do not have plans to release our SILICRYLIC case at this time. We will gladly pass your interest in this item to our Product Development team to view. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions or concerns.
So basically they are making kickstand cases.... which are exactly like the ones being produced already. Not the silicrylic for sure.... asking them about the feather, or ngp or even the hive. What a waste if its just the kickstand case
edit: now they are saying its the silicrylic and not the kickstand case...email as follows
edit: asked them what line of cases are being made... they retracted the statement and said its the silicrylic now.
Hello,
Thank you for your email. Currently the case that is in production is the SILICRYLIC case. I will be happy to pass along your inquiry to our product development team. Please feel free to contact us with any further questions or concerns.

Case-Mate Tough

I am in the ATL and got a chance to run by Case-Mate's headquarters today. Got some good info. they have altered all of their Galaxy S2 cases to have 1 cutout on the top and they are now universal for the AT&T model and the European model. They have the POP cases and Tough cases ready to go. The website was not updated yet though.
I grabbed a Tough Case today. I was surprised to see it is actually thinner than the Pop and the Otterbox Commuter (they had one for comparison). It has nice rounded edges and great feel in the hand. I have tried the AGP, Ballistic, Pop and Belkin and none of them worked for me. This one seems to hit the spot. I will try and post pics later.

Do any of the cases cover the mic hole on top?
Thanks for the info! This is the case I am looking to get, but was waiting for them to alter it, now I just have to wait for them to be available! Thanks

Guys, just call them on their 800 #. They have a whole team of CSRs that will process your order right away. I went into the call center and they handled my order for me. That is the reason for my post. They have hem available now with the large cutout on top. All their GS2 cases are now modified. I saw black and white Pop cases modified, Tough Cases modified and the Barely Theres are already ok.
I like it better than the Otterbox for this phone. The rest of my family all have Defenders for their IP4s. I am a huge Otterbox fan. I tried the Tough for my Inspire and IP4 and did not like it nearly as much as the Commuters for both of those phones. The GS2 Tough is a different story. I like it much better than the Commuter. Its thinner and has better grip. Fit is awesome.
I am on the road traveling and cannot take any pics because the SGS2 is my only camera. I guess I could takes pics of just the case an upload them.
pics of just the case will do! thanks!
I just called and also did the live chat online and both people told me that they won't be available until early November .

Here are a few pics. The case is awesome. I have been using it on the phone while traveling and its working out great. Had a co-worker comment on the fell of it when I handed him my phone. Buttons are easier to press than without the case. The case is fairly hard to install since it is so form fitting. Surprisingly it does not add much bulk.
To the poster above that contacted them. Sorry but you got an uninformed rep. The only way we figured this out was by physically getting the cases from their warehouse. I ask them to bring out the cases so I could see if I could alter them to make them work with my phone. To her surprise and mine, they already were set up to work for the AT&T versions. Pics prove it below and I did not touch this case. Hopefully you can tell. No reason to lie.

I talked to a rep and I also talked to a person in live chat, so I got two of them that are uninformed. I also sent them an email again making sure. I want to make sure I am sent the right one the first time. I am going to email them again. Do you mind if I use your picture for reference in my email?
My GF got a pink "Pop!" and it was for international version so she called and got the same sort of response. That they don't and won't have any cases except the ones that are at the AT&T store because they signed an exclusivity agreement to only sell the cases in stores or some BS. Bottom line is that they fed her the same thing, no cases for the AT&T SGS2 for a while. Whatever. Case looks good though bud, I might get one of those when they do come out to replace my Pop! as it is just a little big.
I don't mind if you use my pic at all. I will say after reading abacon15's post, I am beginning to wonder if I was the one that had the uninformed rep. She may have sold me a case she was not supposed to sell.
One more thing, my case came in the normal green and clear Case-Mate box. It was not AT&T branded packaging. No screen protector though. Not sure if it should have had one of those. I haven't looked on the website.

I get my upgrade in December and am looking to get the Galaxy S 2. I am using a Tough Case on my Inspire and love it. It has proven itself to as an extremely good case. I had it drop and hit concrete 5 times and the only thing it did was put a crack in the polycarbonate hardshell right next to the flash. I also work with tires all day and I would need this case for protection.
