Can I ask if that's a global version or Chinese version? Because its has different LTE....ty

Mine came with a Chinese manual.
Anyways LTE is working fine with Globe Telecom's LTE, I've yet to test it with Smart's LTE

Nice, we have this thread! Just got my invite today so will be getting the International Version. Hopefully it'll arrive in the next two weeks.

2 weeks is acceptable but the price is a bit high. Congrats though and share your thoughts with us

I got it with in 7 calendar days I called them everyday and emailed them to expedite the process hahaha

I saw some online sellers too and they offer limited warranty unlike that's being sold at Lazada.

Been using it for a week now, I don't really have any complaints about it other than the underwhelming speaker quality.
This is probably the best phone I ever had!

Guys, anyone tried to flash Hydrogen from Oxygen? I love Hydrogen on my OP2 but have to flashed Oxygen because of gapps.

You can flash GAPPS to H2OS. Please check the thread on the Android Development. Btw, from what area are you in PH?

thanks engineer000, I am from Valenzuela. How is your experience with Hydrogen with gapps?

|I flashed using TWRP. It works good on the latest H2OS.
I just unlocked bootloader, flash TWRP > ROM > GAPPS > Super SU and it works fine for me.
I just returned to hydro because no rpivacy on lockscreen and no background restriction when using mobile date. It is consuming my load.

I'd actually prefer lazada compared to oppomart. Incase anything goes wrong lazada will be liable directly and they're easier to get in touch and retrieve your money back.
Oppomart on the otherhand is a pain in the ass. Ordered my accessories from them since they're the only ones who sell OPT accessories and ship to the Philippines and it took them a week to get it shipped, now I'm still waiting after 3 weeks and the items are still "preparing for shipping".

Be very careful, Oppomart stole me almost 400eur on refound (sent me a used mobile of another old model and i sent back), they just wait PayPal time expire, don’t let time expire even they implore. Do not trust Oppomart.
I buy from aliexpress and pandawill, it never happen something like this.

Already got it

guys, out of the box, how much available space does the 64 gb op2 have?
how about system memory?

61 of 64 GB will be available for ROM (internal storage)
This has 4 GB of system memory (3GB if you got the 16GB version which I highly do NOT recommend on getting), you will never need to worry about RAM on a phone with anything above 3 GB.

check out foldermount. might help with the pain of the smaller storage size. basically moves data to the external SD, but leaves a symlink on the internal so that apps, etc that point to that directory can still access the files. obviously not the same as a larger internal storage, but at least it helps.
I didn't figure it was going to take long for the phone to be rooted, and custom recoveries/roms installed. It didn't take long for the GS3 to fall to the modding community.
Once you root, NO MORE OTAS!!!!
People will read that, and still do it anyway, and well, that's on them.
This is the best news I've heard related to Verizon in a long time.

I'm going to try out stock for at least a few days. I'm coming from a DINC2 running CM7 in preparation for this. It's going to be a nice boost in every regard, I think.
The lure of root is tough to beat, though. I've only ever had HTC smartphones, so I've been used to waiting a month or two for root. This might be tough.

Unfortunately so, it looks like Verizon had time to upgrade to the new secure kernel (same as Sprint's latest OTA). And now we all know why they wanted to take that extra month.

I ordered a LG G2 32gb

As a former Samsung S2,Gnex, and Note 2, I will be joining this forum very soon.
The main reason were screen and battery life. Hope I won't miss the software support that Gnex had.

Hi,
Maybe you should have a look in the dev sections... The G2 will not have the same support like a Nexus device...
Anyway welcome
There are already 5-6 different rom if not more. You will not need the 1million different roms anyway, the phone is by default almost flawless..
Purchased one myself earlier. Will get it later this week.

I am getting one today for Sprint from Best Buy since iti s free, of course activation fee.
I have never used a phone without SD card before. So I am not sure how it works with custom ROM for downloads and factory reset etc? IF you format do yopu lose all personal data?
I don't think you will lose data, if you format just the right partition. Cwm or twrp will take care when give the command. Just don't format /data.
Another wild G2 user has been spotted!
Just got mine last weekend.
Free powerbank. Free flipcase. Free screen protector. Free non-matching paperbag.

Being that apps loaded onto the SD card has not been supported by Android for quite a while, I see SD cards as a low priority option.
As for formatting, TWRP will not clear your data, unless you instruct it to.

I just bought one off eBay. I was torn between the LG G2 and the Nexus 5 (especially after the 4.4.1 announcement) but after doing tons of research, it looks like the G2 might be the better option. Worst case scenario, if I end up hating it, I can always sell it for close to what I paid and get the Nexus 5.
Very satisfied with the g2
Today I pick my phone... Let see if I will have a positive feeling about LG on phones... Never had bthw... But I am confident this time..
You'll regret it. ...........regret not getting it sooner

I am rooted/recovery but still on stock. The stock roms is good so far. I have installed custom StockMOD kernels 3.0 and I am quit happy.
Now, I know that questions are not allowed, but need help to understand what is "loki"? Then just root...
Never mind, found out it was a terminal updating tool.
I am in NYC, where do you guys get the G2 from in the US (aside from eBay)?

Old version? AFAIK there is no old version of the phone, it is has only just been released. These are the Chinese version. The picture shows them running HydrogenOS. They will be flashed by the seller with OxygenOS before they ship. To be honest the firmware situation of OxygenOS on the Chinese OP2 is still unclear. Will it receive OTA updates..... I guess we will find out soon.

Here is the post. You can find it at the first comment. He is the admin, so I believe it is YES.
Ive ordered the 64gb version from them £308.90 then I got a 5% discount as I am a first time customer. I also took the insurance for sending it out at just over £1.32 so total cost £294.78 Very pleased. Cant wait until it arrives! I am coming from the Nexus 6 64GB white version.
I have been working on getting a custom ROM setup, so far I have taken the OxygenOS downloaded it, de-odexed it and added aroma installer. You will be able to select what apps you want in the ROM during install. I have also modded the settings app and moved SuperSU from the App drawer to Settings.
Just need a phone to test it on now!
Hi,
Any idea on how long it'll take? £294 is a few quid more than the official price!
Ordered mine on Monday, 2 - 7 days to process order, then I selected free DHL delivery which is 3 - 5 days. Hoping it will be processed today then arrive some time next week!
That's pretty quick then! Hopefully customs won't sting you also!
3 - 5 day delivery, so may have to pay a fee to get through customs!

We have always rooted apps like Link2SD which take the place of adoptable storage. As long as it comes out within this month on my phone I will be extremly happy.
WOOW good newsssss
My phone's away for repair right now. Dunno how long that will take. Can't wait to finally have marshmallow! Hopefully adaptive storage will be a thing. Sure it's slower but of you use it for large apps such as Facebook that don't need to be that fast, could work well, also making much more worth while for owners, if they want to keep users, and they can obviously see the demand and questions about if it would be included, it would be stupid not to, especially if they want to keep customers
Ahhhhhhh...at last... yeah.. it'll take few days until update hits the devices.. may be one or two..or may be 1-2 weeks..:highfive::highfive:

Take it to T-Mobile to get it fixed. They most likely don't have it up because all devices from T-Mobile are locked by carrier.
Everytime i go to tmobile for any request, it's always like they their first time doing it (whatever it is).
These people need to be trained on stuff other than the check my balance requests.
I figured if i go to them it'll just be a waste of time.

Try contacting their phone support or go to a corporate store instead of an affiliate location.
A corporate store is worth a try i guess.
There are no stock ROMs available yet. Your only options at the moment are to take it back to a T-Mobile store or get it repaired (under warranty) by OnePlus
Did a warranty replacement from T-Mobile.

I've got an unlocked and bootloader-unlocked phone - I bought it from OnePlus directly.
If there's an easy way to get the bootloader from an unlocked phone, I'm definitely willing to try it. Everything seems to require a working custom recovery, though, at the very least.
See the discussion in https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/can-anyone-upload-the-boot-img-if-they-can-find-it.4303179/ - it's a very similar problem, and if we get a boot.img that can be patched for root access, grabbing the stock rom should be fairly easy too.

There's a big difference between abandoning a phone and simply not *yet* providing support.
If this phone was 2 or 3 years old I'd believe you. But that's not the case.
The OnePlus Nord N200 5G was released June 25th, 2021. It's only been a little over a month! And they're actively selling them on their website *and partnering with T-Mobile*.
We'll see if they ever release the ROMs - it's a very cheap phone, so they might not. But I would be very surprised if they abandon the phone within this year, and they *certainly* have not abandoned it yet.
It's not abandoned yet.. it's waaay too early.
I inquired oneplus support regarding the firmware.

I suspect they don't plan to make any, the phone is too cheap and they are partnering with T-Mobile to sell it.
I think the T-Mobile store accessories are as official as we're going to get.
That doesn't mean they've abandoned it. They are just treating this phone as less important than their premium ones. And given the price, that seems reasonable.
