galaxy alpha cover - Samsung Galaxy Alpha

Hi I buy a flip cover for this phone with window in front and the back is battery cover. On that battery cover it is 2 pins. For what is that pins? The flip cover is not working like an s view cover. I don't know why. How the s view cover works? The phone have a hall sensor and the cover have a magnet? Why my case have 2 pins on the battery cover?

The two pins are there to tell the phone to use S-VIEW. You should be able to see the widgets and take pictures without opening the cover.

S-view work with magnet on the front display cover.

rooCASE Dual-View Leather Folio Case

rooCASE Dual-View Multi Angle (Black) Leather Folio Case Cover for Sony Tablet S1 - From Amazon.com, USD$29.92 + Free Super Saving Shipping or Free Two-Day Shipping with Prime
I bought this last week and managed to use it over the weekend. The look and feel is genuine leather with micro suede interior. It doesn't feel bulky on the slate side but over on the wrap design, it isn't too bulky. The case itself is very light weight and durable.
There are two parts to the case itself; the cover that goes on the tablet itself and the outer case that wraps around the cover and tablet. The cover on the tablet is removable from the case and is attached to the case via velcro (velcro on the inside of the case and felt on the rear cover). It comes with a magnetic flap closure. Their are openings around the cover that gives access to all ports and controls. The cover isn't blocking the front camera, rear camera, or the IR remote.
This will NOT work on the cradle, however.
There are three angles you can place the tablet. Since this is a dual-view multi angle case, you can have the tablet placed in landscape or portrait mode and utilize the three different angles.
This is a better option than the carry case offered by Sony. I would highly recommend this. I've actually accidentally dropped it once with case and cover on, and there was no damage to the tablet or the case itself.
Im wanting to get this case. Question, do you detach the tablet and reposition in portrait using the velcro part?

When nail-clippers improve the Note-3

I just received an S-View cover for my Note-3. So, how to place the Note-3 with its flip cover on the Samsung Docking Station (which I bought previously for the Note-2)?
I added a tall object on the rear portion of the docking station. This happens to be a desk thermometer, which fits perfectly. That object acts as a structural support for when I want to write on the Note-3 while it remains in the docking station.
I added nail-clippers on the left side. Its swivel handle serves to hold the flip cover open, when desired. The swivel handle makes it easy to move up or down, to change the posture of the flip cover from open to closed.
At night time, I leave the Note-3 in the docking station for recharging. However, I don't want the flip cover to remain propped open, because the plastic hinge of the flip cover will remember this posture, and later won't self close. To remedy this, I added a small felt pad on the front of the docking station; it holds the flip cover closed.

I thought you were going to say you used the clippers to trim the sharp edges off the case.... I want to try clipping it now that you've put the thought into my head.

Bumper case for S-View / S-Cover users?

I want it all! I want full S-View, wireless charging, NFC support, protection, and support for the metallic plate that the Mountek nGrove Snap car dock uses. I figure I could put the metal plate on the flip cover portion so that it does not interfere with NFC and wireless charging (just flip 'n' stick), but that still leaves me wanting a locking cover with drop protection like the Slim Armor View. My current bumper case (Bear Motion, same as Poetic) provides drop protection with the official Samsung wireless charge cover battery door but I still want an S-View flip cover and a way to lock it.
It seems to me that it would be very easy to design a three-sided bumper for the S-View cover by just making a bent rod that goes around and behind the S-View cover hinge. From there, I'm sure a mechanism for securing the cover flap is possible, even if it's just a bit of elastic or something.
Think anything like this is in the works? I'd love to see it!

Original smart flip cover

Hello,
I am looking for the original smart window flip cover. It is slightly over sized and has the leatherite finish on the back as well. Does anyone know where it is available?
I had bought a second one recently, but that has a smooth slippery plastic back and is not the same as what I had got from Amazon with the phone last year.
I have checked on gethuawei.com and they seem to be now selling the plastic finish (back) nowadays...

http://www.gethuawei.com/huawei-mate-2-case#explore is this what you were looking for?
It is not excactly what you are looking for but the smart flip covers from Nillkin have a rough, not slippery backside. But they cover the phone completly including original back cover.

App for flip cover?

Hi!
Has anyone a suggestion for a good, working app for a flip cover?
As I understand it there is no magnetic sensor in the phone that works with an existing flip cover, or?
The only function I'm after is that it locks the phone when I close the cover.
