Hello Everyone,
I have just rooted my Lenovo P780. After rooting I installed SuperSu from the Play Store but when I start the app it shows a dialog box that SU Binary needs to be uodated. There were two options TRWP/CWN and Normal , Since I don't know how to use TeamWin I chose Normal bur to no avail, It failed. I have Rebooted numerous times and tried installing but it fails every time.
Please Help Me out.?

Hi there! Very impatient you are!
You must tell us some things about you deed the rooting!
1. What system do you have now!
2. How deed you root your phone(method)!
3. Why deed you installed SuperSU? With what you rooted your phone does not have root acces manager ?
Try aptoide.com try d/l a copy of SuperSU pro if that does not work then kingo root then use an app called super su-me pro (found on aptoide.com)(don't forget to install and download and open aptoide first otherwise apks won't d/l properly to change u over to super su from kingo su (unless u like kingo su better) let me know if either works did 4 me

I Rooted my phone yesterday with Kingoroot on PC. It showed Root Succeeded. So I went to the play store and downloaded the SuperSU app. As soon as I installed the app it showed the msg to update binary but its not updating.

Ok. Try to instal superuser. sometimes works better then supersu! Keep me informed!
I installed Kinguser and I am able to give root privileges to apps.. Thanks BTW appreciate it.

I too faced the same problem and then i installed kingroot its working fine now

Recently, I updated my phone with the Lenovo system Update and since then, my Google play(and services) stopped working. I unistalled my Google Play and the services to solve the issue and reinstalled them back, but nothing worked. I did a factory recet but also, nothing worked.
I have followed most links on the web regarding the "Google play has stopped working" error and still, NOTHING has worked.
Please help.

Sorry, really sorry about the late respond..first, root your phone, install root explorer; then go to : etc, then delete the host file (dont forget to turn the permission r/w first!)

I too have the same Lenovo S820 phone which I upgraded to latest vibe UI 1.5 which is kitkat 4.4.2 OTA. After upgrading I lost the root. I tried to root it using Frama root, V root etc. but to no avail. Can someone please suggest how to root this phone with vibe UI 1.5 ?

I found a way to root it using 4.4Root.zip . Just flashed this zip using custom recovery. If u don't have custom recovery, u need to flash it using flash tool.

i have same problem and u dont care about it.
but i get the worst problem that my andriod , will restart after it on and it continues(looping )

Thanks! Some users meet the same issue with me. It seems some device is not.
The issue on my device is not stable. It flash awhile then on, then off or flash with strange frequency.

I did install the kitkat update and rooted it successfully, but cannot install any custom recovery.

Tried to, doesn't work really
It just enters into regular recovery and doesn't install anything. It just says "no command."
Does it make a difference if I try the whole procedure while being on S221? Does it have to be on S220?

I used mobile uncle tools and make sure you install twrp 2.7.1.1 older versions WILL NOT work, cwm seems not to like lenovo currently lots of probs
i have included zip recovery

I normally just open youtube, then get the link and download the video via youtube downloader. Work around it

I uninstalled you tube reinstalled using my backup version let it play then updated app, and was still fine, if you dont have/find previous version aptoide will have it.
But i have been streaming on data connection not wi-fi?

I have updated youtube app and now is working well.(for me :laugh: )

When i click twrp/cwm i see follwing messages see in attachment and i continue , phone get reboot and take in to recovery mode now i dont know what to do??

Try installing su binary using normal method as twrp/cwm is recommended for htc devices.:thumbup:

How may i update super su binary when it says fail while updating and my phone already in rooted condition. .

You can install the stock rom i guess it may remove the root access

Ya i get it about that ..but main problem here is that i am not able to get g7 stock ..but g8 stock roll out for some countries.. for unroot i need same firmware but its not available so i have to unroot by super su setting but super su saying to update ,while updating by normal its says fail... so how may i update it??

I dont get updates by ota nor by kies i am nt able to install coz of modified my system.. and i dont get my current firmware stock as well in sam mobile or smsung updates to install and unroot it. I have to do it manually .and super su also not opening while opening it saying to update and not able to update as well .
Phone screen get blue and restart and i checked super su it get opened .. i dnt knw what happened but it get opened now.. now i have to unroot it by clicking permanent unroot in super su
Forget about ota update bcoz rooted device never get ota update so I guess theres only one way to unroot your device
That is -Flash it using odin with the same firmware on which your rooted device is running now. Flasing earlier version of firmware will brick your device:thumbup::thumbup:

After the latest kitkat update S222 , Notification screen is showing User 0 in the notification screen. Also in every notification its showing U0 in the right hand side. How to fix this ?? Someone please help..

I am not planning to root yet.. but you can with Vroot and rootdashi z-4 . Many users successfully rooted their device. Give it a try !

Sorry for the late response i was busy in my work so there is a way to root lenovo tab 2 a7-30hc with lollipop. Keep in mind i am not responsible if any damage to your device proced at your own risk still i am tested works safe with my tab so download king root latest version from the given link below open it and press root it will proceed to rooting process it might fail sometimes try it again and again until it sucess also u can replace kingroot with super su using app super su me and then install super su open super su it will ask for root acess give it then it will show conflict between both apps so then open super su me and then press on big android it will start and then open super su it will ask binary update do it and then reboot your device you are done kingroot replace with super su
