[STOCK FW] C5 Ultra Dual E5563 29.0.B.0.161 Customized HK - Sony Xperia C5 Ultra

I want to share the firmware FILESET of C5 Ultra Dual E5563 (29.0.B.0.161), copy from Sony Update Engine.
Because the Flashtool not support E5563 and can't decrypt the files (Flashtool will hang when decrypting),
so still can't get the loader.sin to make the FTF file.
I hope these files can help the developers to find the root method for E5563.

"Pre rooted with custom recovery firmware" is for recovery. Flashtool cannot write ZIP files.
And must wait for a decision on obtaining root permissions.
And I don't have this device.

Hmm, Flashtool for some reason didn't put in *.ftf file loader.sin..

With newer versions of Flashtool, can be indeed, there is no support. But before I did FTF for my new Xperia and flashed the firmware myself.

I don't know why because that 4 files are copy from "C:\ProgramData\Sony Mobile\Update Engine\localstorage" after I did the factory reset for C5 Ultra Dual.

Could you put the files of the FILESET to the cloud again? You can download them without reinstalling your firmware. PC companion will download them without having to hold the phone on the USB cable. And after downloading you can cancel the update/restore. It's all PC companion will ask. But to take need FILESET directory C:\ProgramData\Sony Mobile\Update Engine\db\<AnyFigures>\blob_fs\
I would be very grateful!

Android n in z2 problem

Hi guys.
I successfully boot android n preview 3 in our device with flashing ftf from z3 and flashing kernel from xda.But I have 3 problem
-I can't flash recovery after ftf.It says "FAILED (remote: partition table doesn't exist)"
-I flashed original baseband from Z2 ftf but still no sim error.
-THERE IS A REALLY ANNOYING POINTER IN SCREEN AND I CANNOT REMOVE IT I NEED TO USE MY FINGER LIKE A MOUSE(i tried developer option show touches etc didn't work)
-Getting camera not found error
After that everything works like a charm(GPS,WiFi,Bluetooth etc.) how can I solve the problems.
Thanks

How to get the stock recovery and boot.img?

Hi, all:
I want to back up the stock recovery and boot.img, i use the huawei update extractor 'Huawei Update extractor' . But could not find the recovery.img and boot.img.
Has somebody got the stock recovery.img and boot.img and share them?
Or, please tell me how to get them by my own.

I guess there's no recovery at all. View 10 launched with Android 8 which is using the new A B partitioning without recovery.
Where did you get the update from to process it with the Extractor?

Small correction here: A/b isn't mandatory in oreo. It's still optional for OEMs.. If you received the new ota, you can see that it doesn't update in the background.

Something is up with erecovery_ramdisk.img (erecovery_ramdis.img) so it fails checksum and you can't do anything.

Well downloaded the Huawei Firmware Finder app, which lists all the latest OTA updates with downloadable content.

Update B362

How can I flash the B362 update? I'm stuck at the B360 (twrp, bootloader unlocked and root, custom kernel) and I'm looking for:
-update.zip
-update_data_full_public.zip
-update_full_STF-L09_hw_eu.zip
I guess the easier will be with a nocheck recovery and with Firmware Finder.
But i also think you could use HWOTA with http://pro-teammt.ru/firmware-database/?firmware_model=Stf-l09c432b362&firmware_page=0
It's maybe better to wait for official OTA if you don't know what's your doing...
If you update to B362 and you root, I'd like to know if my vowifi carrier's settings have been update on B362...
---------- Post added at 12:23 ---------- Previous post was at 12:22 ----------

When I check with IMEI in FF it says I'm not approved, but when I check without IMEI it says I'm approved... Also EMUI updater doesn't find it as of now, and I'm living in Europe just like you, so I have C432.

Yeah that one works, but I'll give it a little bit more time, if it doesn't show up in Updater by the end of the week, gonna install it with FF.

I need your help

Hello,
I have an issue with my redmi note 4 (global version). I used an app, hidden settings apk to try and adjust the band so I could use another network on it. Now my sim 1 has stopped working ever since and the app has no way of resetting to default. Please is there a way I can resolve this and get my phone working again.
Flash the stock rom again. Only possible way to save it.

When you say stock rom, I believe you mean MIUI official rom. If that is what you mean then that's what I flash through fastboot. The phone could not recognise my sim but after flashing it recognises it buy I still can't make or receive calls or text.

Stock room means the rom that came preinstalled from the developer. The one that hasn't been updated.

Also can you share the model number of your device?

Thanks. You said Stock rom, I thought u said it is the rom (i.e the version of rom) the phone came with that I should flash. I earlier flashed through fastboot and the screenshot I showed you is the ROM. Is there any difference in the one you dropped?

Like all my comments above to encourage me to help you.
Okay so first of all I will let you know why a phone gets bricked-
>Corrupted Rom
>Some system files got deleted
>Rooting
>Modding
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
MY CASE
I always keep two phones with me like one for my experiments and one as a backup. In this case I'll be talking about my LYF WIND 3 that got bricked.
>Actually I was trying to install TWRP onto that phone but first I had to root it, and due to the upgraded android security, I wasn't able to do via KingoRoot so I tried I-ROOT and it did the job but instead of kingo-superuser I got some ****ty superuser so i tried granting permission to the actual SUPERUSER and while doing so I accidentally double rooted my phone (First with I-ROOT and then with KingoRoot), which was kinda stupid, so it just deleted some system files and my phone wouldn't boot after that. It just got stuck on the boot logo.
>The second time I was trying to replace the boot animation and logo but did something wrong so the same situation arose again.

CURE
So my phone uses a Qualcomm CPU so i just guessed I'll flash it again.
*After Intense Googling*
I found this software QFIL (Qualcomm Flash Image Loader)
I downloaded this file and the drivers for my device. *Google it you'll find for yours too*
Then I downloaded the Stock Rom for my device *Google it again*
Now I just went over to Flat Build in that software and loaded the firehose file and the rawprogram.0 and Patch.0
Now I had just put my device in Download Mode (Volume Keys and Power Key)
Connected via USB and it detected it and then just clicked on DOWNLOAD
It takes about 5 minutes.
After this your phone gets good as new (Unroot, Full Reset)
