ES File Explorer - Material Theme issue - Nexus Player Themes and Apps

Maybe someone can help me. I am losing it.
ES File Explorer updated on Android TV and I cant see the "cursor" position anymore. I cant see to get it to change the theme either.
Anyone running into this or know a fix?

The default theme on ES File Explorer v4.0+ is difficult to use because there's not enough contrast between the colors. You can sideload the ES Classic Theme v2.0.2 file that I've attached here and enable it after the APK has been installed. There's still a major bug with ES File Explorer v4.0.2.1 where the multiple file / folder select function does not work on Android TV so that will have to be fixed in a future update.

ES File Explorer network shares

Does anyone know how to either select (for editing) or delete existing network shares in ES File Explorer? I have a couple of non-working share icons in my LAN area and would like to either fix them up or get rid of them.
Got it. Please delete this post. Thanks

Can't find system File on ES Explorer for Build.prop

I have a rooted nook tablet with CW7 installed, also have ES File Explorer installed on as well, Looked in for a System file to change to Nexus or something else so I could D/L AngryBirds Space for the kids.. I'm a noob by most standards but can figure out quite a bit if someone can point me in the right direction here..
Thanks;..
Go into ES File Explorer settings. Scroll down until and make sure Root Explorer and Mount File System are checked. Go back to ES File Explorer's home screen and hit the Favorites tab. You should now be able to find the build.prop.

prime built-in file manager can't see files

Here one, why can't the prime (4.03) stock, file manager, can't see the mp3 files,
on a usb hard drive, but file manager HD tablet can. ? ? ?
Is there something that needs to be tick on ? OR, it just lacking ?
Thanks
bump... please
Probably lacking. I don't remember any problems (with system files unhidden) except that it only can open stuff via association, not open and ask "This looks like $MIME, what ya want?"
I can recommend ES file explorer. Its free and has all the options you need.
ES File explorer really sux, fails large file copies if device goes to sleep, freezes the notification of the copy until you restart the app. Also had numerous other issues with it. You already found the only alternative that I have been able to use successfully, HD file manager. ES needs to be updated to allow you to use it full res and better compatibility with ICS.

ES file explorer and streaming video

I have es file explorer because it allows me to save folder directories on my computer with video and in the past would allow me to select a video player to play them. For some reason it just forces me to stock player and tries to download the steam instead.
does anyone have a solution to this or an alternative file explorer with a simple clean layout and network directory folder feature like es file explorer?

Unable to open files from a network share, using ES Explorer Pro

Any time I try to open a text file, or other files such as cbr's, I get gerror messages that the file can't be found locally. Or when I try to install apps from apk's, I get an error that the file failed to copy. I'm not sure why this is, as I have never had these issues with ES Explorer Pro on any other devices. Usually I just tap the file I want to open, it caches locally and then opens. With the Mediapad I have to copy the files over to the tablet before I can use them. Which can take a long time if it requires several files.
Is there anything I can do to fix this, by changing permissions or whatever?
The same use case works fine for me but with FX File Explorer. Which is, imo, way better than ES. ES started fine, it was one of the first but went to the wrong direction, becoming over bloaded.
