I Did the upgrade to the Note 5, set it up.. then gave it to my wife. Its nice, but they removed too many features in my opinion.
Kinda dumb to have the Note 5 for $250 + a 2yr contract and a Note 4 for $300 + a 2yr contract. I understand sales and the importance of pushing new product off the shelves, but the Note 4 should be $250 and Note 5 $300. SMH Sprint

No sdcard No removable battery No IR blaster.
Same place I am. I can renew get note 4 for 90 or 5 64gb for 350. I use my SD card. So no note 5 for me. Idk wtf I'm a do. I have a gear watch. So need Samsung device. But all new suck.

I might get the Note 4 maybe by the end of the year, but more than likely not. Haven't seen a big reason to upgrade. I like the Note 4 but the Note 5 needed an SD card slot to make it viable, imho.

I wanted to upgrade my note 3 to a note 5 as well... I think they my some bad decisions regarding the battery and sd card. Its making me look away from the note series, towards the LG V10, but i really love my notes.
If you go over to the note 5 thread, the guys are definitely upset. Burned out pixels on the display, overheating battery problems, displays failing completely. Some guy is on his third device in last two weeks. That's besides the fact no battery removal, no sdcard, can't be on a call and surf the net at the same time, and a 8 core processor (that's a battery saver REALLY sure I'll take what there smoking) !!!

I found out you can upgrade from a Note I to a Note II for $299 with AT&T and then submit the old Note I to Samsung for a upgrade rebate of up to $200. So essentially you upgrade from a Note I to a Note II for $99.
Of course with a two year leash.

So they'll buy your Note for $200, essentially. Pretty bad deal. Could easily get 3-400 selling it on your own.
I listed mine on cl today for 400.... If I get 350 for I'll be happy, I get 50 percent off with my discount for handsets... So it is a win win for me..

I'm doing the same..you can easily get 300 bucks on cl..and pick up your upgrade to note 2 for 299..Then adding more time to your existing contract..

How are you able to upgrade early from Note 1 to Note 2 for $299? I got my Note in February and they said I'd have to pay full no commitment pricing.

I remember when the original note came out, people were saying that AT&T was allowing them to preorder it and renew their contract at the lower price even if they just did it a month previously. Doesn't look like we can do it this time around. It was either a bug in their system or they were trying to boost the note's popularity.
Early upgrades are allowed 6 months into your current contract for an additional $250. Unfortunately, every store in my area won't allow the early upgrade unless its for an iPhone.

They are about to release the Note 3 . I think I will stick to the Note 2 . A 6.3 inch screen would be too big to use as a daily phone.

and I freakin love this mega 6.3! Was waiting and looking forward to the Note 3, but when I was at ATT testing the Note, I found myself drawn to the Mega. $98 at Walmart, I couldn't pass it up. I really liked the S4, but anything smaller than the Note 1 wasn't an option.
I see some fellow Note 1 converts on here so I'm sure we'll get some dev support in due time. I'm happy with the phone out of the box really!
First thing is to go into apps and disable all the crap apps. I also run Apex Launcher.
I came from the note 1 and the mega was an awesome upgrade.

I'm another convert from the Note 1. So far I'm very happy with the Mega, and I got it new for only just over half the price of the smaller Note 3
It fits in my hand and in my pockets, the 720p screen is easily sharp enough for me, I very rarely used the stylus and it has all the power I need. Why would I want anything smaller?
In heading over here soon ... Still gonna have my note 1 as well but cant wait to see what cam happen with the mega ..be here in about 2. Weeks

From what I heard at best buy today from some lady that was some Verizon district something, you can move your upgrade to another line and upgrade that line. Then at home go to my Verizon and swap the numbers around. I'm pretty torn. I want to jump all over the note 3, but idk. I played with it for like 20 minutes and its pretty awesome.

I have the note 2....cracked screen.... What device have others received? I can't imagine they still have note 2s to give out?
I just warrantied my wife's Note 2 this week and we got a refurbished Note 2. I was hoping for a Note 3 bit no luck. Let's see what happens in a year since we can't upgrade without losing unlimited.
