For those of us that don't buy into (laterally and figuratively) Micro$oft and its shenanigans, fastboot flash all the files shown in the FLASH-ALL.bat file. So easy a feral hamster could do it.

Thank you very much for the zip mirror!
I hate to download via filefactory due to their stupid 50kpb/s limit on my 50mbp/s connection

Does the MXP have an e-fuse on bootloader unlock? If not, will this tool return it into a "warranty-ready" state?
I know we can never know for sure what Motorola will accept this early but if anyone knows more than I, I'm all ears. Regardless, awesome tool for when I get antsy, start modding, and inevitably mess up.
Thanks!

Back in post #12, I asked for the md5/sha1 hash checksums and where this image came from. The post was ignored... So, proceed at your own risk I guess. With that said, the flash-all.bat file does perform a wipe of the userdata and cache, so it should be like starting from scratch.
First boot on lollipop is usually lengthy. Are you waiting at least 10 minutes before giving up?

Well to be fair the RTS tool isn't what got me where I am now; I was soft bricked before even tried to use it.
I can boot into bootloader/twrp. When I try to boot into the system I get stuck at the bootloader unlocked warning screen.

Unfortunately that's the big problem, phone won't charge. I think his battery may have died while flashing and it's stuck in fastboot mode. The only "solution" I've been able to find is if he modded the charging cable...there's a thread on here that describes how to do it, but it sounds pretty tricky. Any ideas??

[TOOL][WINDOWS-ONLY]WSG UnBricker V1.0.2

WSG

Latest ROM: WSG UnBricker V1.0.3
Last Update: July 16, 2012
Type: Tools
Wabi-Sabi: Finding the beauty in, and embracing the imperfect!
Perfect is repeatable. Imperfect is Perfect
PLEASE NOTE: I am not responsible for anything that happens to your device. This includes acts of God, your wife/girlfriend breaking it over your head for using it too much, or jealous iPhone owners!
I bring to you a tool to help UnBrick your Brick Prime. This should be used has a last resort.
..:: Description ::..
This is a Full Fastboot based solution that should allow you to flash any partition.
The IMG's used are blob signed, which our devices require.
..::Audience::..
Anyone who has flash stock rom, messed with the kernel, or can access fastboot.
**Please try DiamondBack thread before attempting to use this tool**
**Before using please install Universal Naked Driver**
**Big THANKS to Doktaphex for fastboot command**
Extract it somewhere like your desktop, though anywhere will work.
when i say extract it i mean use extract all so you get my file structure do not move these files or it will break
Run / double click WSGFlasher.bat
The script displays the readme at startup. close it and continue.
Select what function you want to do and press [ENTER]
Please be careful as to what file you drag and drop when it prompts you
One final note do not give it a file from another device or a non .img file it will flash it anyway no matter what file you drag and drop once you press enter it flashes what ever was dragged onto the script. Also do not drag a radio img when it asks for recovery or in revers, bad things will happen Wile they are fixable by repeating the process I dont want anyone to mess up their device making such a simple mistake.

More to Come.....
Further, if I get any parts wrong, PM me and I'll get those parts corrected.
Android Partition, SPL etc.
Partitions:
Followings are a list of partitions on your ASUS Transformer Prime (TF201).
misc - misc partition -
recovery - Recovery Partition - This is where the original CWM recovery or any other Recovery would go. Basically if you reboot into recovery it'll boot from here.
boot - This is your boot partition also known has kernel
system - This is where all your system information (ROM resides)
cache - cache (When you factory reset the phone, this area is wiped)
userdata - user data (like your login, your user settings etc) When you factory reset the tablet, this area is wiped)
So, if you replace the recovery image, you are pretty much set for updates provided here at XDA.
ROM images will normally replace boot and system images at the same time and often time, userdata and cache too; reseting the phone completely.
SPL/Bootloader/Bricking Tablets:
SPL / Bootloader is like BIOS on a computer. At least I think of it that way. SPL can be updated! SPL comes as either Security-On of Security-Off (S-ON/S-OFF).
How do I know the tablet is bricked? A bricked tablet can not boot into bootloader, recovery, or into normal operation modes. You can not connect to a bricked tablet via adb or fastboot. You can only see one screen on the tablet and it will be the first splash screen.
Can see this coming in use sometime, so thanks in advance for when I screw up my tab
Wow... now I could root my prime and keep it. I was afraid of bricking it.
great tool I never unlocked my prime b/c the half assed asus implementation but now I think I will as this will be like my last resort Insurance if i mess up, saying that I've never killed any of my other devices or had to revive them but some reason never felt confident with my prime.
everyone should be in here hitting thanks it deserves more attention
big thanks from me any way

Thank you for this tool. It's great to have so many great developers on the Prime. (and people said there would be no development because of it's secret sauce)

Hey! It wasn't me who figured that command out. I assume it was someone at androidroot.mobi or elsewhere. I mearly stumbled upon it with open arms. But thanks anyway.
If we can find out who first figured out that command then I'll be able to update my thread also.
If you have downloaded the WSG Unbricker please don't use it yet. I just realized once you unbrick, it will take you to stock .21 with NO ROOT access. I am currently in the process of fixing this and should have a new link up in about two hours.
Allmywut.jpeg
Now anything can be unbricked?
Devs here are scary how fast they can produce quality work.
Fixed. IT now gives you the option to flash your own img's or flash WSG Beta rom.
So, would this unbrick if you tried to flash a stock Asus Blob file via CWM (the type 2 Brick)? I have not bricked myself, but this seems to be the only hard brick method so far that can't be fixed.
Thanks for putting this together, you make people like me who are spoiled by Samsung and ODIN feel more comfortable with unlocking their devices.
Apologies for the noob question....
I have everything installed as per instructions, but your tool cannot communicate with my TFP since I cannot boot to bootloader (Unrecoverable bootloader error (0x00000004)).
Am I correct in assuming that this fix is not for me?

[TOOL] 06/22/14 One Click Factory Restore KTU84P.4.4.4 (dead or alive)

Warning this will erase your entire phone and restore it to KTU84PI'm NOT responsible if you bork your phone because you can't follow simple instructions!I originally created this for the Nexus7 2013, and it's proved invaluable for recovering from "pilot errors", and decided to create one for the Nexus5
INSTRUCTIONS:
1) If for whatever reason you don't already have your drivers installed on your PC, download and install DRIVERS (Win 8 Driver instructions included).
2) Download and extract Restore_Nexus_5_KTU84P.zip
3) Turn on your phone, and connect your phone to the computer (make sure you have USB Debugging enabled on the phone)
4) Open up folder where you extracted the Restore_Nexus_5_KTU84P.zip
5) Double Click on the "Recovery_Nexus5.bat" and follow the instructions,,,,it really is that easy! (watch video and follow along)
6) If your phone will not boot and you need to restore, boot your phone into fastboot (volume down and power), connect phone to PC, and click the "Dead_Nexus5.bat" file found in the folder.
Video was created for the Nexus 7 2013, but the procedure is EXACTLY the same.
For those that couldn't find their azzes if a target was painted on it, here's a link to the video.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=hectdvR9Y6c
I'm NOT responsible if you bork your phone because you can't follow simple instructions!
FAQ:
1) Your bootloader will still be unlocked after this procedure. If you want to relock it, you will have to relock your bootloader after you restore. Phone in fastboot and connected to pc open up command prompt in the folder where these files reside and type: "fastboot oem lock".
2) You will be unrooted after this procedure
3) Your bootloader must be unlocked before using this utility.
If you can't handle these simple instructions, pickup one of these.

+1 on this question.
And many thanks to the OP - this is an absolutely awesome thing! No toolkit or anything needed. I have it saved for future reference.
Out of interest, why couldn't you make an option that locked the bootloader? This would make it the ultimate 'RMA' tool.
Thanks.

This tool was created to save your device should you "screw the pooch", as often happens when a new device comes out, and people inadvertently mess up their phones in one way or another. Quite frankly if you can't type "fastboot oem lock" in fastboot then you probably should own one of these instead of a Nexus5

Lol, really good answer.
I used it to rma my flo and was the only time I locked it back, and I have used his tool a lot of times to restore and install fresh update, new kernell, kernell issue fixing... if it were lock after restoring every time I would be screwed 99% of the times loosing time unlocking that really takes time, oem lock is one sec command.
Good
Thanks pro

I completely agree with you, despite your condescending and assumptive tone - the nexus is simply a phone. I've changed ROM's, kernels and a slew of other things on every Android phone since cupcake. Not quite sure why some people think that owning a nexus phone is some kind of exclusive 'club'. Heck, I've seen some 'mighty' nexus owners running TW themed ROM's, and despite my dislike of Samsung's fugly UI, it demonstrates my point - its just a phone! Thanks again for your contribution.
Just came in to say thanks. Some how wiped my OS off my phone during the rooting process and this brought me back from the dead. Now unlocked, rooted, with TWRP.
first time I have ever done that but thankfully you were there to save me

Side note phone will now say Set Warranty Bit: Recovery when booting into recovery. Don't worry this is normal. This is showing you what tripped warranty. More about this below later in guide.
Step 4- Flash Superuser (this step may not be required for some. my dev note booted me into recovery and asked me if I wanted to flash superuser. Others have had issues with this) http://download.chainfire.eu/365/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.69.zip
Step 5- Make a complete backup of EVERYTHING in TWRP. Boot, Recovery, System, Data, Cache ALL OF THEM I have backed up to internal sdcard & external sdcard & even throw a backup on your pc just in case something catastrophic happens since we have no Odin stock files still!
Step 6- (optional) Flash a rom/kernel.
Rom Section: Right now we have a couple roms to choose from over here http://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-galaxy-note-3/development
Big ups to @beanstown106 and @sbreen94 for cranking out the first roms so far! :good:
Kernel Section: Now while we don't have any Verizon Developer Edition kernels so far we do have T-Mobile ones just like TWRP. Head over here to pick one out. I have tested all of the last night and all work without a hitch so far! http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-3-tmobile/orig-development
Big ups to @Imoseyon and @morfic who i was both in conversation with about kernels! :good:
Step 7- Enjoy!
Part 2: Restoring Boot.img if phone will not boot after rom or kernel install
If you get a kernel that won't run properly or boot loop or a rom like hyper lets say that will not boot on the developer edition without proper boot.img here is how you fix.
Step 1- Boot into TWRP. From phone being off use three finge method of vol up, power and home button to boot into twrp.
Step 2- Restore boot.img from the very important backup in step 5 from part one! This is why you have to have a backup of everything! Restore the boot.img only and reboot!
Step 3- Back to enjoy! lol
I do not take any credit for roms/kernel/recovery just sharing links and what I have done. Hope this guide helps!!
Great job/idea on this guide!

Reserved.. lol
good guide so far i will be cooking up a flashable tar that should essentially bring us to stock mj7 with the exception of the bootloaders. its not the full thing cuz of no bootloaders but hey its better than what we have now
Ps- i thought i was the only one who knew about imoseyons kernels been testing them for him for a cpl days
Thanks for taking the time and putting this together!
We can install any version of t-mobile twrp tar file right? 2.6.3.0 works the same as 2.6.3.8?

As far as i know it should work i am just on the most updated one
Thanks for this thread!
I understand we don't have the recover .tar for the Verizon Developer edition, but one thing I'm confused about is when you mention we don't have a kernel yet, are you still referring to the recover tar?
How different is it from the Kernel.tar.gz file found here?:
http://opensource.samsung.com/reception/receptionSub.do?method=search&searchValue=SM-N900V
Code:
Kernel.tar.gz 139,510 KB
Platform.tar.gz 773,012 KB
README_Kernel.txt 1 KB
README_Platform.txt 1KB
some kernel input
Edit : This guid rocks, very accurate steps and sufficiently detailed ,
couple of questions: 1- my recovery states that it is unable to mount usb OTG ? i think . did every one else get that message?
2- I had to update update my samsung drivers , again for the millionth time, maybe a post to the newest samsung drivers would be helpful ? The ones included here helped odin finally recognize my phone
==================================
so i tried compulsion and imo's really quick.
Compulsion locked my phone at 2.2 ghz all last night ( i really hope i didnt shorten the life of my processor because of that )
Imos kernel like to sleep, so its a keeper, so far deep sleep was predominant on my phone, four hours of sleep in a 5 hour test .
I know every phone likes a different kernel
Just stating my observation
awesome. thank you for posting this for us Dev Editioners. lol.
:highfive:
@oneandroidnut
someone got bored at work
Good guide, hopefully this helps people who are constantly asking "what should I do with my dev edition"
I wonder since it's knox tripped if any 3rd party would warranty the phone.

This is the open source code for the kernel completely different than what we need we need a full stock Odin recovery tar file for mj3

Hmmm Knox tripped almost makes the DE pointless especially if bootloader unlock comes out... Presently still waiting for further information ordered 2 hours after it went on backorder.

You are freaking awesome! This is the only unbrick tool that legit works. You should add a donate button to this.

How do i get my Imei back?
Duh, it's on the back of the phone.

Are you still working on CPH 2459
Yeah I've tried countless things and I can't believe this actually worked. I literally had to find the only Windows PC I had out of 3 or 4 different computers which either ran macOS or Ubuntu lol. You're freaking brilliant, mate and saved my phone from the landfill.
I'm sure there's many more people out there with bricked phones that could use this, so I really hope it helps more people out.
can you make it for op9

Yes! I'm currently working on a script again with firmware CPH A.08. As I don't have CPH2469 device. So it's a bit difficult when you don't have someone reliable with the device an know what their doing exactly. If I can get someone with CPH2469 to test some things out . an understand before flashing my scripts. I'm not responsible if you brick your device. As all i'm trying to do is help! Not harm nobody or their devices lol.
