looking forword to it ,
every step for making our device better and this improving this rom is highly appreciated

I Think i found a bug
iI have partitioned my /system partition into 800mb, but after installing your rom. My /system partiton size detects into default one (616mb). So i'cant install full Gapps...

How are going works, @Epirex?

How is the Dialer working in this ROM? Because it is horribly slow in hasta's CM12.1.

Unfortunately, I have bad news .. Paranoid Android is dead. I will continue working in this ROM (Because it's my favorite) but right now I'm playing with Marshmallow
new build of Paranoid Android possibly next week

@Epirex Marshmallow for janice? GOOD NEWS!!!!

That's great news @Epirex Marshmallow for Janice I can't wait,

that would be great , marshmallow ey !!

@Epirex Any updates ??

new build of Paranoid Android possibly next week [/QUOTE]
@Epirex Thanks for your continued support towards this device, I'm sure you are working hard to keep Janice alive, When are we likely to see new build?

Sorry for delay guys, I was hoping to AOSPA Team update to android_5.1.1_r24
I'm build now

@Epirex you had hinted about Marshmallow, are you still developing 6.0 for Janice?

Best lollipop ROM for s advance in my opinion. I was using build 28/09 for few days. Cache/data in f2fs. So smooth and fast. WiFi failed to start for the first time after a reboot but if you turn it on/off once then it works fine. Sadly i had to roll back to CM11 cause of the low incoming call volume bug which was really annoying. I couldn't hear anything outdoors. Is this fixed in the latest build?
PS: Low incoming call volume bug isn't mentioned in the bug list. Anyone else having this bug or it is just me?

Great work bro :>
This is absolutly stunning what you did and do for our device!
Biggest respect for all your work! :good:
I still prefer liquid smooth because it has many settings and especially custom quick tiles but it looks very good after removing useless apps

No - F2FS formating has to done manually... This script "only" converts the ROM installer script that F2FS partitions are useable.
Really, really nice! You're going to keep our device alive.
Little OT: are You going to build Lollipop ROM?

So far I haven't deal with some build errors on CM12.1. Btw, there are already two lollipop developers But maybe later I'll try to build SlimLP. It's sad, however, that so far there aren't any based on 5.1.1 - I'm still don't know , whether worth it to try or not, cause of well known memory leak, that is fixed only on 5.1.1.
UPD. hm, it seems they are uploaded changes for 5.1.1, probably I was duped a bit, seeing 5.0 branch in their repos as default.

@ChronoMonochrome
EuphoriaOS is looking stunning, this ROM came from developers of MahdiROM (really solid rom IMO). So maybe...
Report for codinap
NFC is not working - cannot be activated
ChronoKernel Settings app: Even if its a bit outdated its still usefull for some settings . maybe it can be interated?! Otherwise: Of course its easy to install later on...

SlimRom is a custom android operating system. The main goal is to offer users a slimmed down but still feature rich alternative to other android operating systems.
The entire SlimTeam work together to bring you this tailor-made beauty straight from Android Open Source Project (AOSP) source code.
All of the sources can be publicly viewed through GitHub and Gerrit.
SlimLP is currently in alpha stage, some settings are already in place, much is still missing and would come with time. Stay tuned!

It has not any preferences for root, though, that's why there's link in OP.
Is this ROM have In-call low volume issue like Omni @ChronoMonochrome ? Do I have to apply your fix for this ROM also ?

Normally you should not need to, as low incall volume fix already applied. However, it would be better if someone who does calls often would confirn or refute it, as I have found some changes in sources that may interfere with fix and not sure if it's working.

Geez...my main thought was: isn't it too alpha to waste YOUR time for it?
I mean - their own page is saying, that rom lacks many functions....
I am fan of slim roms, but...
thank you for your great work chrono, i love slimrom. i try this rom today, and removed some not needed apk from installation zip file, like audio fx, browser etc before flashing, and then no sound at all at my phone? this because i remove audio fx or not? cause when using cm12, whenever i removed audio fx, sound still work properly
UDPATE: i try to clear dalvik & cache, and fix permission through twrp, sound working again
other thing is:
-sim toolkit not displayed in app drawer
-a little bit laggy, etc when open app drawer with apex launcher or switching app
-no performance control yet?
Root options are in developer options, pushing build number repeteadly ?

No need to worry about that - if I spending time on this, then I don't do it for nothing. I build it most for myself - but ofc wanted to share with everyone who are interested in that.

There is no problem with deleting audio fx, maybe try to reflash ROM and delete some things more carefully.

I don't know if it's just for me or not, but I noticed worse performance of the runtime and math operations on latest builds - all benchmarks has showed the low results I have ever seen(and it's not only for first run). I've uploaded new build - seems that this bug was fixed.
Changelog:
build ROM with Uber toolchain 4.9 and kernel - with Linaro 4.9.3
enabled JustArchi optimizations v4 for lollipop
extreme kernel optimizations based on commit by @ace2nutzer
added RRO layers 2.1 support
First boot might take significantly more time than usual - but it's definetely better than have worse performance.

I suggest to check ROM + Kernel flags to make sure that u don't break IEEE or ISO rules/specifications for math functions
After that u'll notice best Benchmarks results

F2FS tutorial
F2FS is not supported for this ROM, maybe someday
I still haven't tried the rom but a thank you is needed.
Thank you for keeping your promise.
No matter how the rom goes, your effort is very appreciated.
P.s. gapps links to a 404 not found page: there's an extra slash at the end of the link, delete it and works fine.

Just bookmark Bro.. And Big Thanks for your efforts.. Success..
First impressions: fast and smooth with very few bugs, impressive for a first build, Epirex you're really awesome!
Bugs:
- you can't pass the initial configuration wizard without log in to your Google account (otherwise a pop-up shows saying that the wizard has suddenly stopped)
- i'm not able to switch to 2G
- gesture typing is absent, even with the option enabled (because there isn't libjni_latinimegoogle.so)
- screen flickers randomly in some subsettings, like "About phone" and "Mobile networks"
- when you record a video it shows "Camera error Can't connect to the camera." or froze at the end of the recording (if you close the camera app from recents apps and retry it works)
- reboot to recovery doesn't work (it reboot normally)
- "Wake up device" option for Back and Menu buttons is ineffective
- auto-rotate doesn't work if has been disabled for too long (a reboot fix this)
- delay for incoming calls (this bug is in every Lollipop e Marshmallow rom for S Advance)
- "Device only" location mode doesn't work
Thanks again for your work.
Thank you!
Really. :good:
Time to become Flash-a-holic again with janice
Thanks So much @Epirex
Appreciate your Efforts @Epirex
Thanks for your Continues Support, Downloading and will report soon
i am having display issue it some time uncontrollably flashes randomly
Thank you so much ...I was waiting for your CM13..Can I flash CM13 rom directly from your MaxiCM 5.1.1 or do I have to be on stock JB?
Jelly Bean is a minimum requirement: you can't install the rom on older os versions (Gingerbread), but you can install it on newer versions (KitKat, Lollipop, Marshmallow).
So yeah, you can install this rom from MaxiCM.
Attempt to fix screen bug
Can anyone confirm if the screen flickers bug is present with this fix?
Flash from TWRP
@Epirex
Probaly problem is in ambient display
You can enable gello browser and snap camera? ;]
Rom works better than CM11 on Core 2 :E Good job
Initial Review :
-- ROM is smooth, fast, Fluid
-- Smooth animations
-- Took 5-6 Mins to install
-- Apps Force closes initially (Download Package etc.) but becomes stable after some time
-- Screen Flickering (Encountered 2-3 times but now after 1 day no flickering)
-- Quadrant Test takes a lot of time, In CM 13.0 Untested Build Jaince gave its Highest ever Score "4545" but in this ROM Jaince does'nt perform well in Quadrant
-- Battery Backup is Better
Overall The ROM is stable and can be used as a Daily Driver, Since it is in Beta Stages so minor bugs can be seen
Thanks @Epirex
