Trouble with Root Explorer.
Hi. I'm new here. So i'm having trouble while copying file to system folder. Please help me.

Can you be more specific, like what do you wanna copy and in which particular folder do you wanna copy.
& you cannot upload a screenshot in XDA unless you post 10 posts. so be specific if you want anyone to help you

Can any one help me out? I made a stupid move and deleted my 'dockservice.odex' file, along with my 'PortalApp.odex'. Does anyone know where i can download these files? Or can someone post them for me?

You either need to go ahead a try to deodex your entire system:

I mistakenly deleted my hosts file, could anyone please upload it here, or in PM or anywhere else.
Hosts file is located in /system -> /etc. Please upload it unmodified.
I'm not asking for much so if anyone could do it asap, i'd be very glad.

If you want to look at files on your Device. I recommend ES File Explorer. Works great on both Rooted, and Non-Rooted Devices.

I do use that and the stock,i cant seem to find the folder. please help!

Hi all
Can someone please upload the 'etc\wifi' directory files here?
I've installed Open Garden app from Store (to manage the thetering) and I've granted it root rights, then program tried to install some specific file and my Wifi didn't worked since then.
If I would put back the original files than issue would be solved.

Hello.
Can somebody please reupload the file? Could not find this files anywhere else in the internet...
I am having a WiFi uninitialized problem, WiFi is not turning on on my P760, and searching I read that probably this files got corrupted.

forgot to back up the my files apk and .odex while trying a new one
the new one doesn't work
and now I'm left with no my files app
so if someone can help and post his my files apk and .odex..I would be very grateful
I'm running official jb 4.1.2 rom
it's an international gs2!

Hmmm. It's not hard to flash the firmware again. Backup your apps with titanium backup. Reflash clean firmware and root it. Restore your files again. Then you should be having the My Files application.

it's not working
I copied the apk to preload
created link in system app
copied the .odex to system
and set permissions of both files
but it's not installed
please help!!

Use root explorer. Copy both files in system/app. Paste there. Then search for the files and set correct permission. I just did that. And it worked fine once you reboot the device.
