Members usually get banned for violations of the agreed to rules when said member accepts said membership. My suggestion is that members take this to pm, or go away from XDA entirely to have these discussions.
XDA is a site about and for development, social drama is not what we are here for. Moderators are here to ensure that development is going on and that users are contributing to the bigger cause.
And yes, thread is closed.

Guys I just received an indian invite for OPT, and i'm not sure of buying this phone because of heating problem with phone, so if any one seriously interested in buying.

With three active invite threads open and five new ones closed by the mods since yesterday, I don't see why it was necessary to start yet another thread. The forum doesn't need more unnecessary clutter.

That is a private beta group. Users not a member can not see the post btw.
I manage that group (as well as parts of social), but it is something I've already made thorough notes on and passed along as it is a hot topic.
You can maybe edit this post and the reddit so users can discuss and comment feedback.
I'm hoping I can help the community and our fans/users. If there are changes, I will be sure to update everyone (along with the developers here).
