Flashtool don't flash boot delivery - stuck in a bootloop - Sony Xperia M4 Aqua

Help please, my flashtool don't flash the boot delivery ( bootbundle ), it says "no bootdelivery to send" , so now i stuck in a bootloop, please help :crying:

What version of flashtool are you using, install the latest version, also check if the Boot delivery files are there in the FTF file, also when you get the message to use the default.fsc file, click yes.
if all these fails and you have not unlocked the bootloader, the use PCC and repair the phone (you will loose all data in the internal memory)

[Q] My ray died after upgrade please help!

Hi,
I was on rom ST18_4.0.A.2.368_GENERIC_(1248-9545) then I accepted to upgrade via WiFi to new rom according to SE suggestion on the notification toggle, since then I can only turn the device into flashtool mode (green led) cant get into fastboot mode anymore, I tried to reflash the ST18_4.0.A.2.368_GENERIC with flash tool (I dont get any error during the process) but after flash I can't turn on the device!
any idea how to fix it?
Since your current kernel should be 4.0.2.A.0.58(or 42) ,you can try to install (use flashtool) ROM 4.0.2.A.0.58 (or 42).
Did you unlock you phone? Try to flash the relock file with the flashtool!

Flash failed on "System.sin" and now phone won't boot - just says "Sony"
Halp! First time I tried to flash the Xperia S.
I was installing the Generic .73 firmware image but this happened:
This is what flashtool says:
31/057/2012 22:57:03 - INFO - Flashing system.sin
31/057/2012 22:57:08 - ERROR - ERR_SEVERITY="MAJOR";ERR_CODE="0009";ERR_DYNAMIC="Block verification failed";
I have tried what I believe is the stock UK generic image (unlocked/debranded phone from shop) and I get exactly the same error.
Ok panic over. I rebooted my PC and tried again and it worked fine. Bizzare! I wonder what on my PC was interfering?
Lol same here
Just followed your tip and worked. Thanks!

### How to downgrade from 6.0.1 to 5.1.1? ###

Hello, i'm getting an error when trying to downgrade my xperia z2 from 6.0.1 to 5.1.1. It says: "Processing of system.sin finished with errors." and the phone gets bricked after i reboot, "Software update failed, make sure that your phone is connected to the computer and try again". I have to use xperia companion to repair the phone.
I've tried everything but couldn't solve this error. Tried flashing with both usb debugging on and off, tried with 2 different stock rom 23.4.a.232 to no avail. What am i doing wrong?
You can see the log at here: http://textuploader.com/5erjb
-In case i can't solve the problem, is there another way to downgrade the firmware?
Thanks in advance.
If you don't know how to downgrade, I don't think you belong here. It's the most basic stuff.
Please post in the right section. Have you tried Googling this error?

use flashtool version 0.9.18.5 and uncheck "unknown" if u see that on flashing partitions
Download 5.1.1 ftf by using xperifirm.
Download and install latest flashtool.
Run flashtool and click flash button. Choose flash mode and then select your ftf file.( note: exclude all .ta files specially simlock.ta)
Now connect phone in flash mode. Switch off then press and hold volume down button while connecting cable to pc.
Then flash ftf. It will take some time to flash so wait. And do not disconnect in between.

Xperia Z4 SGP771 wont turn on, wont boot, dead but with fastboot mode access

Hi guys, a friend asked me to repair her tablet Xperia Z4 SGP771, it does not boot at all.. It does have access to fastboot mode (blue light) and flash mode (green light).
This device had the bootloader unlocked and was rooted and, for some reason, she tried to factory reset it. It is dead since then...
I have no clue of which ROM version it had, or CDA, firmware.. location etc...
When I connected the device on PC (Win10) and try to verify connectivity via adb cmd the device list is empty, but when I tried to reboot into bootloader it was successful. (see pic1.jpg attached)
I tried to flash TWRP via fastboot but no success, see pic2.jpg, it says FAILED (remote: Command not allowed)
I verified connections via flashtool, it says: Device Status: FASTBOOT mode, see pic3.jpg, which seems to be working fine..
Now, I was thinking to download a generic FTF firmware using XperiFirm and then flash it via Flashtool, is there anything I should know before proceeding on this step? I will wait for any guide/light from you guys... thx in adv
Hi,
Flash any MM 6.01 firmware (32.2.A.5.11). No Nougat firmware.
Here is an old guide to flash a firmware but you can use it : http://www.xperiablog.net/2015/03/1...peria-lollipop-using-xperifirm-and-flashtool/
And upgrade FlashTool to 0.9.23.2

I tried that but it is failing in the middle of the process. See pic, any other idea?
get the LATEST version of flashtool
you also might try another FTF in case something is wrong with your download
check that the drivers for your operating system are properly installed an up to date (more on that in my [GUIDE])

Question No flashing possible, phone stuck in bootloop

Hi folks,
I've got a new A52 5G and wanted it to root. TWRP couldn't be used, because each and every possible solution failed. I even got stuck at boot with a message that the recovery couldn't get startet, even if I just restarted the phone without pressing the keys and without plugged USB cable.
Even flashing the original firmware was not possible. Then I tried to lock the bootloader again and flashing of the firmware was going on with odin. Puh... Then I used the Magisk method without TWRP to change die boot.img with magisk and load it in Odin. Success! I had now root on the phone. Yesterday I read about uninstall Magisk and install it afterwards on the B partition for updating the firmware over OTA. But accidentally I pressed the button below "uninstall" and it performed imediately. Now my phone is dead again... With unlocked Bootloader it is stuck in a bootload and I can start the Samsung recovery mode to wipe the cache for example. I wiped the phone completely, but it is still stucked in a bootloop.
Then I tried my first method: Just lock the Bootloader again (in the download mode) and then flash the new firmware with odin. But Odin either crashes or is giving me instantly the message "failed".
When I'm trying to start the phone (it happened also after locking the bootloader) i'm getting the download screen and the message with a big red !
"partition boot
Reason boot: Hash of data does not match digest in descriptor. [2nd] (3)
Calculated Hash of (boot) : 23B8CFD554, (VEMETA) : D23E59ACD6
CUSTOM boot
VBMETA A526BXXU1AUCA, 38851814R"
Now I unlocked the bootloader again, to access the recovery mode so I can turn it off. Otherwise its stuck in the damn bootloop. Can't flash and wipe doesn't help either.
Please help me somehow -.-
why did you u

why did you OTA update the rooted phone
it is clearly written that your phone might brick.
what happened to you is your boot.img file is replaced with the newer version try replacing with the boot.img file of previous version.
I didn't, because I get (as always, this is not my first rooted phone) the message, that the system has been changed. OTA is not working and I read that uninstall magisk, update the phone and BEFORE reboot install magisk again on partition B. But I accidentaly pressed the second option in magisk, complete uninstall or how its name is. Didn't expected, that its start instantly without a "Caution" message.
Uninstalling Magisk should not bring my phone into a bootloop anyway, even if I wipe the cache. Or am I wrong?

That is the problem how do I do that, when everything with odin stops imediately or odin crashes.
Does Odin give you any error messages? Are you patching all of the files for the firmware AP BL CP & CSC? Are you making sure to use the non home CSC? Have you tried using Samsung Smart Switch to recover your phone?
Smart Switch didn't recognize the phone. The only error on Odin was "succeed 0 / failed 1).
It worked with Windows 10 notebook and the USB C Port. However it didn't worked on Win 7 and regular USB Ports. Very strange. Well, but now I have the original firmware and again lots of bloatware. TWRP doesn't work, impossible to boot with it. How can I root the A52 with Magisk that way, to deactivate it - if needed - for firmware updates? The phone doesn't has A/B partition.
Same happened to me.
So, I have an A52 Indian version and want to flash the Canadian firmware. I downloaded different versions of the Canadian firmware and used Odin to flash. I followed the instructions on downloading the files, loading them into Odin, hit Start and it kept failing. It was giving an error message regarding a repartitioning error. Could this be due to having to tick "OEM Unlocking" in developer options which I hadn't done?
Hey, is your phone still stuck ?
