need help Nexus 6 on Bootloop, bootloader locked, unlock oem off, debug usb off - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello im new here and i need help, my nexus 6 is on a bootloop after i tried to get it back to stock kernel, rom, and recovery mode. ive tried factory reset, and also deleting the cache but nothing, i've tried looking for instructions on how to flash the rom back in the nexus but all of them says to turn on usb debug and to also turn on unlock oem but i cant since its on a bootloop . i took it to att but they said they couldn't do anything and that their is possible aways to unlock bootloader without having to turn on usb debug and unlock oem
can someone please help me thank you in advance

Unfortunately, you appear to be out of luck. There isn't any way posted that would allow for unlocking of the bootloader to allow you to flash the factory img files without enabling it in the Developer Settings. Without that, you're stuck.

isn't there like a back door system where i can just throw in a recovery img or a rom so it can install it, or is it done as in impossible to do anything with it

Not without the bootloader being unlocked.

and there is no way to get bootloader unlock without debug usb so it completely impossible to fix it
well i'm done for , but thank you for the help

[Q] Bootloop, Cant seem to fix it.

I'm new to rooting and all of this type of thing, i figured I would first start with my HTC Flyer. I successfully unlocked the bootloader, and installed SuperUser, upon installing greenify and i tried to install the Xposed Framework, and my device now is stuck in a boot loop.
When enter the bootloader and do a factory reset or try to enter factory it completely freezes, and when i try to connect it to my PC via fastboot the PC says that the USB device that is connected cannot be recognized and fastboot will not work. Did i completely fry this device? Also if you have time I couldnt figure out a proper way to flash a custom rom so if anyone has a guide for that I would appreciate a link to that as well.
Thank you so much!!

[Q] Help! Device is bootloop bricked, Factory Reset not working, Bootloader Locked!

Hello, I've ran into some trouble with my nexus 9. After the last update my device seems to be bricked, just stuck on the white "google" logo during start up.
I'm trying to flash OEM android on my device and have been unsuccessful because my bootloader seems to be locked, and the only way I can find online is to do it through developer options which I cannot access now since my device is bricked. I've tried the fastboot command oem unlock and permission is denied. Prior to this I have not enabled developer option or usb debugging because I was ok with using stock software.
I can get into bootloader mode and access fastboot USB but I cannot flash my device due to bootloader being locked!
I've also tried Recovery -> wipe all data, and my device is still bricked afterwards!
Is there anything I can do at this point?
I've been running stock software the whole time! Never rooted / unlocked my device.
Forget about it.
Talk to the vendor (google / amazon / etc) the device is FUBAR
I am getting a new one, since there is no way to fix this.
period.
sorry for everyone affected, but google said, that there is no way to fix it.
damn..just called google and they said they will get back to me next week. this is pretty sad

It seems, I have the same problem. I tried to wipe it several times, it is no use.
Maybe I am completely dumb, but could one not sideload from 5.1.1. to 5.0.2.?
adb sideload <>
is about the only thing that is working. I don't know, how ota-files are created.
Have you tried this?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/nex...-disabling-t2951312/post60702161#post60702161
Put Device in Fastboot mode:
Power and Volume down,
then in the bootloader, go to fastboot.
With the fastboot tool (google), type:
fastboot format cache
fastboot format:ext4 userdata
It fixed it for some users, because wiping the userdata is apparently different from a factory reset in the boot loader.
For me, it did not work out: I did not end in a boot loop but in a neverending boot sequence.
Trying to flash 5.1.1 on my N6; now stuck on colored dot bootloop. Tried fastboot format cache and fastboot format userdata; both fail because the bootloader is locked.
Google has completely ruined this. I've owned the Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 4, and Nexus 5, and I *never* had a single issue doing simple **** like this on those phones. Here, everything fails. All the time. This time it's failed hard enough, evidently, to cause a permanent brick. Thanks a lot, Google.

i have same situation
without success always i get error token sign failed WHEN USE MultiUpgrade 4.8.5.
WHO HAVE REAL SOLUTION THIS HAPPEN AFTER UNLOCK PASSWORD WITH MRT Dongle.
The same, i've a Token sign failed.
EDIT : After research, this tool is the bull**** beacause we need to are into Meizu factory. Indeed, to get the right token you need another tool, but only Meizu have it.
Sorry Guys.
EDIT 2 : https://forum.xda-developers.com/meizu-pro-5/how-to/to-unlock-hardbricked-meizu-pro-5-t3566173 Possible Way
Hi Guys, any other solution ? It reports me the same token sigh failed.
- First time when I stucked in Guest Mode (firmware 5.1.6G i thing ) I was able to fix it by this guide from KYOTOX
https://forum.xda-developers.com/meizu-mx/general/guide-meizu-mx5-stuck-guest-mode-fix-t3397191
(after boot to the desktop phone was 5-6 seconds in Admin User than phone switched to the "GUEST MODE", no more recovery mode, locked bootloader, rooted ) it was possible to solve it by that guide
- now I stucked after upgrade to 6.9.7.5 with Android 7 again (propably because I am just beginner without any experiences with flashing etc )
- Problem is before desktop appears, new flyme or Android 7 is showing me stupid commercials on 7 sheets, so during the process of reading sheet , phone switches to the GUEST, so in generally no chance.
Sorry for my english

With what rom previously flashed u've been able to do this ?

Unbricking RN4 (SD)

Hello guys,
i wanted to upgrade my Ressurection Remix ROM and managed to softbrick my phone. While flashing the software (Flashing system partition unconditionally) TWRP got stuck.
My phone got an unlocked bootloader and i already tried to flash the global MIUI ROM via EDL and also fastboot. The flashing process is successfull but after i restart my phone i'm stuck at the MI Logo with the moving Android Circles for loading.
I let this run for ~6 hours, no progress at all.
I also tried flashing the Global DEV Rom, same as above.
Factory Reset via Recovery Mode (with MI Suite) also didn't do the trick.
I think something with the bootloader went wrong. Any ideas to unbrick it?
I can access Fastboot and EDL Mode, unlocked Bootloader. I also got a TWRP backup with System and Data Partition, but currently only the original Revocery is installed.
Any help is very much appreciated, thank you.
Did you tried using this guide to flash stock firmware/recovery?
http://en.miui.com/a-234.html
Yes, the problem is not to flash the Fastboot ROM, but after successfully flashing the ROM i got stuck at the MI Logo with the loading Android dots
That's weird.. this bootloop usually happens when you flash stock MIUI and still have TWRP installed, can you check if you have stock recovery after fastboot flash?
After i flashed the global DEV ROM i got the stock recovery where i can choose between Wiping Data, switch to MI Suite etc.
Edit: Its not really an bootloop, it just gets stuck there without doing anything
Update: Got TWRP back, now if i want to flash any ROM (doesn't matter if stock/custom) i'm stuck at TWRP saying: "Patching system unconditionally..." it stays there for hours.
Any advice in this case?
guys,, i was facing same problem. I also agree that 8012... status does not matter to unlocking bootloader. I was tried all but fail after granted permission. I was tried daily. after 5 days when I tried with old mi unlock tool I got error at 50%. After that restarted my phone and clicked on settings and in developer menu, I watched i clicked on allow unlock bootloader but I forgot to click on usg debbuging. after clicked it I went for fastboot with old unlock tool and I got success. thankyou.
Try my method you will get success. hit like. stay tune. tandob is here to help you guys.

That has absolutely nothing to do with the problem mentioned above.

Boot loop in Lenovo Zuk Z1

Hi Team,
i am using Lenovo ZUK Z1 , morning today, after restarting the phone manually, device has gone into endless restart loop, i can boot onto recovery menu as well as fastboot mode, from what i have read so far i have to flash Factory image, to be able to bring this to a usable state, i would like to tell you that i cannot get the bootloader to unlock since OEM unlock option in developer option is disabled, i dont have any custom recovery installed, neither can i use adb commands since USB debugging is disabled, i have tried factor reset but the phone still continue to reboot and optimizes apps, what should i do to get out of this?
I would like to apologize if i have failed to convey my point properly, also please pardon my ignorance, since this is my very first question on this forum
Thanks in advance.
