Flashed it again, same problem, stuck on bootanimation. I gave it about 15 min and rebooted but nothing.
I used the same download link from the beginning of the thread (not mirror)
Maybe try again and upload but use a different name, like test03 or something, so we know it is a different version.
If you do it, I will test it.

3. Select [wipe data / factory reset] → [YES]

5. Select [advanced] → [wipe Dalvik Cache] → [ YES ] → Back
6. Select [install zip from sdcard0] → [choose zip from sdcard] → [X.X.X.zip] → [YES]
7. Wait until flashing will finish then reboot phone

Edit: Also I have unlimited T-Mobile data and it took me about 30+ to discover that the Miui market limits the data to a couple of Megs. Anyway to make default, unlimited. It makes the GPlay require WiFi.....

Instructions:
Download zip and please use the TWRP recovery from this thread.
Do simple wipe (Factory reset) by using TWRP recovery.
Don't do advance wipe
Then flash the Pac zip file.
Go back and select opengapps zip and flash it.
Click on Install Image button present on the right of "Select Storage"
Flash this Boot.img from there
Then go to wipe and do factory reset.
Reboot and enjoy.

To fix that go to settings > Display & lights > Adaptive brightness, disable it. As the device doesn't have light sensor, this option should not be used

Did u flash the boot.img given in the thread?
It says error installing the ROM. My device is second half of 2014, so I first need to follow the rev2 method of CM11 right?
Edit: Now it's installing. Devices that are second half of 2014 should never wipe in twrp. Instead, use the CM11 rev2 method suggested by weritos

You need Nougat Modem and Bootloader to flash this.

Well this way works on all a7 a5 and j7 2017 and 2016 variant without updating bl

This rom will only work on j510fn, as with nougat the modem and bootloader changed, the rom will have bugs if u flash it on any other variant.
Can you upload it somewhere else?

XD rom is only for fn becuz 7.1.1 only released for fn
I have a J510FN. First, it first boots for 20 minutes, second i downloaded it twice and clean installed every time but every time I had android.com.phone stopped working, the startup wizard is unresponsive, wifi and bluetooth not working either. And when I made it work its temp doesn't gets under 60°C, its like a furnace. If you make a rom that is completly stock, than make it work like stock No offence given
