Wall mount - Shield Tablet Accessories

Hey guys,
Does anyone have a fitting wall mount for your nst?
I've tried several on amazon but didn't have any luck. No one of them could properly hold it tight. My only requirement is, that it should be available in Europe.

Anyone modded sgs2 dock to get it syncing?

I have the official samsung dock and it only charges the phone. If i pull the usb cable out of the dock and connect to the phone it will allow mount of SD and copy / sync of files.
I'm sure a small wiring / circuit change inside the dock is all I need, and I'm pretty sure someone has blazed this trail before. I just can't find their notes on the forums or web.
Any assistance appreciated.

Which dock? If it's the one that has audio output - no you can't use it to sync because it uses D+ and D- for audio L/R.
If you wanted to use it to sync you'd have to remove the ID resistor and reroute D+ and D- back to the USB cable.
Thats what I'm talking about. Are those changes documented somewhere? I don't care about audio out (the dock does have that output jack).

Easiest way to do it is to break off the bottom part and just use the standard cable directly to the phone.
If you were interested you could always try this:

I ordered one, I havent received it yet but will post results when I get it.

I saw many of those docks for the 9100 also. When I pressed the vendors for 777 compatibility the answer was always "NO". Probably because they just don't know enough for a definitive "YES". Let us know how it goes.
I may just have to break out my kids legos and build something around the plain cable
(that way it can accomodate a case)
The description says it can be used to charge/sync. For $10, I'm willing to take that bet.
It'll be nice to actually have my phone sitting in something while charging over night instead of just laying on my desk.
Our phones are pretty much the same as the international version (with slightly rounded corners and 2nd mic placement) but theoretically the bottom should be exactly the same, so I don't see why that wouldn't work.

Wall mount/holder with integrated charging capabilities

I ordered my Asus TF300 3 weeks ago - that damn thing just isn't yet available in switzerland, so I'm still waiting
Now as a future owner of that great device, I wonder if there is any possibility to screw a holder to the wall, that has integrated charging capabilities.
I don't want to fiddle with a charging cable - I just would want to plug it into the mount and it should then be securely mounted and directly be charging the battery.
I've been searching on google for months (for other tablets including the original transformer) but there doesn't seem to be a solution to this for any tablet at all.
Does anyone know of something that would fit my situation?
Sounds like a Kickstarter project to me, LOL!

[Q] Wireless charging magnets & car "mod" with magnets

Hello,
I don't know if this goes well in this are of the forum but it is a question, so i thought i would put it here. I don't have a s3 yet but im really considering getting one for cheaper and might do the wireless mod. But i have read some people saying that magnets used damage the phone. Can they really in this case?
The reason im asking this is also because i was thinking of other mod, but this one to do in my car that involved magnets. My car comes with a phone mount that can't be removed(at least without leaving marks) and to use it you need to have buy the specific mount for the phone and they cost like 100€ and i don't care about that since the car does have bluetooth.
So what i was thinking is adding some magnets to the universal car mount that its there and having those hold the phone, so that way i just place the phone there and don't have to worry about it and it would be easier to use. I could place a nfc sticker there also to turn on the BT when i place the phone there and when i remove it having it turn off.
Will putting magnets on the universal car mount i have damage the phone in any way? The idea is having it hold the phone like the palm pre dock/wireless charger does
Thanks

Extended battery recharger

Hey everyone,
Around 2 months ago my phone had the usb connected to the slot, it fell and the usb port got broken and i had to send it for repairment.
I just got my phone 1 month ago, looking good as new, but i didn't notice that the port was slightly loose, untill now it got so lose that it wouldn't recharge anymore so i decided to get an extended battery charger, the problem is i can't find the right one on amazon or any other website, because i keep finding the US, how do you call those thingies that go into the electricity slot? It's different than the one we use in EU.
I'd really appreciate it if someone could find for me a suitable charger which will work in Italy.
- Thanks
Adapter for EU
You can just by an US to EU adapter and walah! The current is converted.

I haven't made enough posts to be able to post you a link, but if you go to amazon.com and search for:
usb wall charger universal EU
you should be able to find something that works. I did.

This. Most cellphone chargers are universal anyways, you just need to be able to fit them into the wall-socket.

I was never able to get USB stick working with both front nor back USB ports. I think I read somewhere around that you may need additional USB hub with power supply (as power in USB ports is weak). Didn't bother to try as I have two SD card slots so I use them for file storage.
I would also like to know if anybody uses USB.

I bought one of these to extend the two usb sockets on the back of my unit. Underneath the centre armrest in the E46 BMW there is an oddments tray. I drilled a hole and secured the USB sockets at the back of the tray facing forwards.

USB sticks, keyboards, 3g dongles, game controllers - all seem to work fine with it. Ordered a USB ethernet adapter to try that out to save having to download tomtom maps through my wireless connection (some distance between the hub and the car).
