Did you search? And try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3108230
I do wonder why kingroot needs so many permissions though.
Edit:
If you have recovery still ( I dount it) you can flash supersu zip.

So custom recovery I meant (like cmw, TWRP or philz) When your phone boots the led will light up a colour (green or purple or blue) before the boot animation (the waves). Then you can present a volume key or power key to boot into recovery. A little something something like https://youtu.be/0LIwOdd4Uck

Ok cool cheers Matt, do you have to install recovery separately from rooting it or does it automatically install once rooting your phone?

Rooting usually only gives root but recovery is something that people usually install first to take nandroid backups and flash zips.

Ok. Yea have a look at that thread that I linked. I've never used that method so I'm not sure if it'll work on you build but it's you best shot. It also installs kingroot i think instead of superuser or supersu so you might want to look at changing that after you have root, I'm sure someone would have said how to do it in the thread.
Also as an FYI there is a thanks button for people that helped you and don't forget to search there's a wealth of knowledge on xda.

Help me please! Recovery question

I just rooted my phone and its on gingerbread. I used Rom manager to download and install a cwm recovery..whenever I click anything in the recovery its just a blank screen with the recovery logo and it wouldn't let me wipe, flash, reboot, or power off. I'm trying to install an ics Rom. Is there any other recovery I can use? If so, please provide me with the link or file and tell me how to flash the recovery so that I may actually flash an ics rom

[Q] Boot loops after rooting

I've got a SGP311 which I've rooted before but have problems with after a while. The rooting is successful and I can do stuff for a while. Then the boot loops start and don't stop until I do a full restore. I've searched for a way to fix this but not come up with anything useful so far. What should I be doing after rooting to stop these boot loops? Which su should I be using?
All help appreciated.

Use Sony Mobile's Update Service to re-install stock firmware.
Use DooMLoRD's XTZ Easy Rooting Toolkit to gain root access.
I use and recommend Chainfire's SuperSU Pro.

You should only have one SU installed at a time otherwise you may get conflicts.
I've done the first two steps as mentioned in Cat's reply and had no problems.

Thanks. Will try when I get home tonight (if I'm not inebriated. The UK has luvly ale drinking weather, I can't let that go to waste).
Edit: Things seem to be working fine now, fingers crossed. Thanks to all who helped. Next stop recovery.
Edit 2: XZDualRecovery installed tho CWM not working. Will trawl thru the correct thread for solution. TWRP seems fine. Will play with it more later.

It bootloops because the whole Rom is odexed. Im rooted stock, and I forgot that you need to be deodexed in order to not bootloop.

Root using IOROOT 25 & flash TWRP recovery using AutoRec.apk developed by Cloudyfa.
Then Flash whatever recovery you want to install.
Please note : while flashing dont ever forget to download the correct zip's compatible with your phone model otherwise there is always a chance for bricking your device.

Installing TWRP

Guys I have a 1/8 2100 which is rooted via framaroot and Supersu installed. I've read loads of posts saying install open recovery script via goomanager, problem is I don't have a menu button in goomanager. So I click on flash rom and it asks if I have recovery installed, I choose no and to search and download one for me. It finds TWRP and downloads it but doesn't flash it. I can locate it in goomanager/downloads but how do I install it

Think need to wait for the boot.img to be compatible with 1/8GB EU 2100.
Thanks mate, I'll keep and eye on that thread.

On 2100? Latest firmware?
Why don't you use then goomanager?
Use xposed module to reduce size / layouts of app and you'll see btn.
If course I'm not 100% that's the problem, I still haven't received my watch...but it should be OK

Didn't think of that, but what's with no boot. Img available not sure how that effects me

Don't know but my guess would be -
TS have unlocked bootloader, so that means you can flash custom kernels.
I guess some dev use boot.img (kernel) add recovery in it and you could fastboot that or flash using some other tool...
I repeat - I still don't have my TS, so all this is just something I think they did.
I'm sure there explanation in OP (thread where's that method)
But if you are already rooted, goomanager should work - at least it would work on phones...

I've downloaded the TWRP. Img file through search for it in goomanager. For some reason probably down to dpi, there's no menu option at the top of the app like there is normally, so there's no option to install open recovery script. With this. img file, can it not be flashed via stock recovery

As I said, I'll know more when my watch comes...
It shouldn't be that hard but Omate fuc**d us all...
Develipers editon, yeah right...
Crappie firmware, not rooted...uff...
I think KS will never see me again.
It's one thing to fail but to make fouders or backers total idiots - hmm...I'm not buying that...
But we'll see which firmware will my watch have...it's like kids playing and sending those watches...
I mean...I'm trying to get my tracking nr from them for a three days?!

I cannot make goo manager work for installing twrp. I can't find the script.
Is there another simple way to install twrp recovery ?
