[G920I] [OK9] Bootloader & Modem (Updated 30/11/15) - Galaxy S6 Android Development

Apologies for me being very inactive on this thread. I do get quite busy and can never really be bothered to package to bootloaders and modems. I also don't have a linux installation setup at the moment either and really can't be bothered. If anyone else wants to package their own bootloaders and modems for any variant then feel free.
I'll leave this link for reference, it is a bit dated but you should be able to work it out from that. Once again, sorry for being inactive, I just don't have the energy or interest to keep this thread going.
These bootloaders & modems are ONLY FOR THE G920I.
These bootloaders & modems are ONLY FOR THE G920I.

FLASH THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
I am not responsible for this damaging your device in any way.
I've realized that there was no thread available with up to date downloads on G920I bootloaders. So I've created this thread. I will be attempting to regularly update this thread with the latest bootloaders/modems for the G920I model of the Galaxy S6. So I hope this helps my fellow g920i users!

FLASHING INSTRUCTIONS
How-to Install:
You can do this procedure any time and it won't wipe anything from your device! You will keep your current ROM, Kernel & Recovery after flashing this.
Do exactly step-by-step the following things:
- Unplug your Phone (IMPORTANT!)
- Turn your Phone completely off (This is IMPORTANT)
- Start your Phone in download mode on this way: Press Vol down + Home + Power button till the screen turns on, press Vol Up to continue (Only enter download mode on this way, otherwise it won't work!!)[/B]
- Open Odin 3.10.6 on your PC (Make sure you're using this version of Odin, other versions won't work correctly maybe!)
- Click on the 'BL' button, and load in your BOOTLOADER tar.md5 file for your model
- Click on the 'CP' button, and load in your MODEM tar.md5 file for your model
- DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING ELSE (you can brick your phone if you choose other settings in Odin)
- Now Connect your phone to your computer (DO NOT connect your phone before this step, otherwise it won't work!)
- Click on the Start button
- Wait till it finish flashing.
- Your phone reboots automatically after flashing.
- Always check after flashing: Settings -> About device -> Baseband; that should show the same modem build number noted as here.
And also check if the bootloader got flashed correctly by downloading an AndroidTerminal app, and enter this command: getprop ro.boot.bootloader
Big thanks to Mentalmuso for his help, be sure to check out his WETA rom! And also the odin flashing instructions are borrowed from edgarf28's post.

Yeah, it should be fine. I don't think it really matters what bootloader you use as long as it's 5.1.1. I was using this on WETA ROM Ol9

Nice, but why not make it a single file? It works fine as well, and then just put it in AP, much easier lol.

I might look into this in future. Although let's not get ahead of ourselves

Hi there. When I installed the file from op it said my modem was COGA. I think that's an older one and now the oia one right?

This isn't OIA, it is OGA. Downgrading broke fingerprint scanner man.

[MODEMS][ODIN] Modem Repository - Download Them All Here! (SM-G900P)

It seems like I do this for every device I own so I might as well do it here on the S5 as well.
Here you can find every modem currently in existence for the Sprint Galaxy S5 (SM-G900P). We will add more as new builds are released.
Modems control every aspect of communication on your phone. Having the correct modem can influence your data speeds, your phone call quality and more. Different people report better results with one modem or another but there seems to be no rhyme or reason. I recommend flashing them until you find one that works well for you.
Currently the modems available are only available in One-Click or TAR formats. But I have it on good authority that our best and brightest devs are working on a way to flash them in a ZIP...
Each of these modem flashers include both the modem.bin and the NON-HLOS.bin. This ensures that you're running the same build version for both 3G, LTE/4G and Wi-Fi connections and helps prevent connection issues.
As a general reminder, I cannot and will not be held responsible for any issues that arise from improper flashing of these modems.
The modems are listed in the order of most recent to the oldest released.
Please do not post direct links to the modems on the site. All modems are available through the links on this post. Thank you!

It looks like Sammobile is having problems right now so I cant look but it could have been an incremental security patch that will never see a full Tar release.
Meaning the only way to get it is to flash prior full tar and take the OTA update.
This doesn't mean there never will be one available. Sammobile is notoriously slow on posting firmware.

[Q] Need help! Samsung I9300 wifi refuses to work - new rom? new kernel? please help!

The wifi on my Samsung S3 GT-I9300 device won't work. It just toggles on/off/on/off when I attempt to turn it on. I purchased the phone with the following already installed on it:
CWM
SuperSU
Android Version 4.2.2
Kernel Version - (says here in the about screen) 3.0.31-611730
Build number - Omega v45 - XXUFME3
I've done a LOT of searching here on XDA but I just find myself lost in a world of information. I found a video on youtube, but it's for the S4 and doesn't offer links to the correct files for the S3. Some have told me flash a new ROM and other a new Kernel, but because of version numbers, and not wanting to brick this phone... i'm not sure where to start...
Please would someone be willing to help me out? I am living in Honduras and the service I use is prepay here.. wifi is a HUGE money savings for me here. Many thanks to whoever is willing...
If it is an i9300 then download a stock firmware from sammobile that will work in your country (3G signal). Follow the guide in general forum on how to flash. Factory reset in recovery before first boot.
Test wifi before you install or restore anything, if still the same then it's a hardware fault.

Thanks for the direction!! I downloaded the file, however when I attempt to open it with WinRAR i'm getting this error message..

Unexpected end of file means you have a corrupt download. Just download the firmware file again. If all else fails, look for a post in the S3 General thread regarding a complete back to stock method.

The versions and software in my phone is all different than before, but the wifi still won't turn on. I click the button to turn on wifi... it thinks for about 3 seconds and then just switches back to the off position.
Any ideas what might have gone wrong? or what I might be able to try now?

Wifi is related to kernel if you have changed roms ( which also changes kernel) then most likely it is hardware fault you could try flashing just a custom kernel and if the problem is still there then it is most likely hardware issue.

Yikes. Two words I was definitely hoping it was not.
Well.. I suppose it couldn't hurt to attempt a custom kernel, so the next question would be... any advice on which kernel I should attempt, and how exactly do I flash a kernel?

Samsung/Sprint (you didn't come after anyone for the leak. Thank you - and also thanks for testing this one a lot.)
You've been waiting - and now be rewarded with official Lollipop.
Those of you who have been on the NKD leak this won't look too much different.
Link to build:
Full Restore Tar (in self extracting EXE) - Rwilco12
MD5 checksum: 427198343d9b5acca995905f2dff2184
Steps to Flash:
1) Place phone in download mode.
2) Open Odin (I tested using 3.04 and 3.07)
3) Extract tar.md5 file and select in PDA slot.
4) Start Flash and wait for process to complete. (You will see 2 reboots in the process)
Additional notes and links provided in Post #2.
Notes
Rooting Information
Thanks to Chainfire's assistance a CF Auto Root package is available for this build.
You can download it by clicking here.
During testing SuperSU did not pick up that it stuck properly initially.
After KNOX started throwing the warnings it finally settled in. So you may need to play with it to get it to work.
This will likely be the case until an official Lollipop build is released so again, you're warned in advance.
Also, please note that unless it has been corrected the 5.0 compatible version of CFAR is not compatible with earlier versions.
You'll need to find an older version if you want to root on KitKat this way.

[ROM] [TW] SM-G900T_PG2 Rooted Deodexed

G900TUVS1GPG2
Rooted Deodexed BusyBox Init.d
Hi all, just wanted to share a little project i've been working on. Its the latest release for the T-mobile S5 G900T, rooted busybox deodexed and init.d support. I'm am totally new to the process of kitchens and making roms. This is my first release on this project and will release debloated and other combinations as i have time. Please enjoy and report any issues. I will try my best to help in any way.
Now for the rom and instructions.
Typical disclaimer as always, I am not responsible for any damaged caused by flashing custom software period. If you have gotten this far then you completely understand the risks involved with "flashing" custom software (ROMs). Flashing this ROM will void your warranty and trip knox.
Again this is for the T-mobile S5 G900T. Stock for the most part. Its rooted busybox deodexed and init.d support. I have replaced the stock kernel with The Imperius Curse Kernel 6-20 by @ShinySide. Edited homescreen pages. There is only one Homescreen page by default. If you need screens and widgets just add them. Removed NFC icon and removed sfinder and quick connect from pulldown menu. International Boot animation and sound. All apps in system/app & system/priv-app updated as of 7/23/2016.
You need custom recovery installed to proceed. I use TWRP, have not tested on CWM.
You need to be on a 6.0.1 bootloader! I tested on the PE1 bootloader and had no issues but i recommend a full update to PG2.
EDIT Odin flashable PG2 bootloader and Modem tar download link below
If you do not have a custom recovery installed then please go herehttp://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-galaxy-s5/general/root-how-to-root-sm-g900t-firmware-t3358190 then continue below.
Download ROM and move to root storage of phone. ExtSDcard or internal sd
Reboot to TWRP and tap wipe then advanced wipe and check boxes 'Dalvik/ ART cache' 'System' 'Data' and 'Cache' then swipe to wipe. Do this 3 times just to be safe. If you moved the rom to phone storage DO NOT WIPE Internal storage as you will delete the rom you just downloaded.
Go back to the main menu in TWRP and tap install, choose rom and swipe to install.
After install is complete reboot and wait around 15 minutes for boot to complete.

I have strange problem with this ROM, hope anyone can help. After installation, I can't use adb any more. "adb devices" shows the devices is unauthorized, and under "Developer options", there is no button for "Revoke USB debugging authorizations". There is also no USB key fingerprint confirmation window.
Is it just me or the ROM?

Be updated soon though. Have the source to G2, and for some reason Samsung supplied their own toolchain in the source (which I've never seen) so been screwing around with it.

Be updated soon though. Have the source to G2, and for some reason Samsung supplied their own toolchain in the source (which I've never seen) so been screwing around with it.

Been looking all over for it on the Googles. I'm on CM 13 / GPE1 and don't want to flash over my current ROM.

I've been looking into how to make a bootloader/modem flashable thru Odin but can't find any reliable up to date guides. If anyone knows where I might look to start I'm very sure I could make it, just need guidelines on how to begin.

Everything except system.img, cache.img, boot.img and recovery.img. So full upgrade beside those 4 items.

How's the debloated version coming along? I can't wait to try it out. Thanks for your hard work!
Flashed this rom. Everthing is running great, thank you. I was wondering if anybody has the stock kernel in a zip format?

{Firmware} Sprint S5 Factory Odin Images {SM-G900P}

I decided to download and collect most of the newer firmware images for our SM-G900P and share them in one convenient place for everyone to find them.
These are all factory images I have personally downloaded from Sammobile for updating my device..
As usual I am in no way responsible for damage done to your device. These images are completely untouched and unmodified.
So far I have collected:
*G900PVPS3CQC1_G900PSPT3CQC1_SPR
*G900PVPS3CPK1_G900PSPT3CPK1_SPR
*G900PVPS3CQD1_G900PSPT3CQD1_SPR
*G900PVPS3CQA2_G900PSPT3CQA2_SPR
*G900PVPU3BOK4_G900PSPT3BOK4_SPR
*G900PVPU3CPH3_G900PSPT3CPH3_SPR
*G900PVPU3CPL2_G900PSPT3CPL2_SPR

Feel free to use these at you own will and at your own risk.
Dev's as usual, help yourselves.
Special Thanks to bytes2bits for providing me with a copy of G900PVPS3CQC1_G900PSPT3CQC1_SPR for you guys

I had the same issue coming from OA6 to PK1. It took a few tries to get the MM bootloader loaded that PK1 requires.

TWRP fails
Thanks for the files - but when I used TWRP to flash the 3CQC1 zip, it fails saying "invalid zip file format"
What am I doing wrong?

These files have to be flashed using Odin from a computer. They are not TWRP flashable

got it, thanks. I was trying to use TWRP because I only have a mac and couldn't use Odin. I borrowed a PC and the files worked great. Thanks again.
No problem, I love to try to help the community. Glad you got it sorted. Cheers!

I'm currently trying to download from Sammobile as we speak :good:
Edit: after 9 failed attempts at downloading from Sammobile, I'm taking a break. If anyone manages to get a hold of a copy feel free to let me know and I will add it to the op.
Update:
I have not have the Sprint G900PVPS3CQD1_G900PSPT3CQD1_SPR.zip update now available.
Same Place as Usual
