[Q]Need some help for porting a rom - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
Dear friends I need your help.I wish to port a cm 12.1 based ROM from Samsung s2 to galaxy grand..So my doubts are
1)Is it possible to port a s2 ROM to galaxy grand duos rom?
2)How to port a cm12.1 based rom?(I only know copy pasting method)
Additional info:
Galaxy grand duos and s2 have almost same spec like
Both are 480×800,8 mp cam,dual core,1.2 GHz,1 GB ram
But s2 is 218 ppi,internal 32 GB,and battery is1650 MHz and grand duos is 187 PPI,internal 8 GB,battery is 2100mhz....
Any good tuts for porting cm12 based ROM?

Hi guys, I noticed that Galaxy Grand Duos and Galaxy S2 Plus use the same BROADCOM chipset, therefore it is really possible the MIUI V5 to be ported from the Grand Duos device without a lot of troubles. Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo DS Plus lollipop rom request!

Guys i could not find any custom rom for the Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo DS Plus (GT-I9060I/DS)? Is there any cyanogenmod 12 or 12.1 thats gonna work on this device? If so could you guide me on how to do its 'cause i don't want to brick my device! Thanks!

It is too sad. Why Samsung makes no effort to update its devices ? We, the unfortunate owners of Galaxy Grand Neo Plus are then condemned to remain on Android KitKat . Provided there are developers who can give a second life to our side yet not so bad configuration devices.
