Hi i look bootloader file 5.0.2 to sm-a300fu

Samsung Galaxy A3000FU
I rooted my phone with KingoRoot and I don't liked this, so i "rooted again" flashing SuperSU. I don't know how but I bricked my phone. So the phone won't to boot up and when booting, Samsung Galaxy A3 logo goes yellowish and constantly reboots. I downloaded this firmware in your post and flashed with Odin and my phone working perfectly now! Thanks a lot, it works and saved my Samsung Galaxy A300FU!!
Sorry if my English is a little bit bad.

The TWRP 3.0.0.0 for the SM-A300F mentioned in this article also works on my SM-A300FU...
I just flashed it to test it, and it works! If you want to flash it on your SM-A300FU you can do it safely.

Will this procedure will not trip KNOX? I've read many articles that rooting using ODIN may trip KNOX.

Yes, it will trip your KNOX counter, you can see it in download mode by holding volume down, home and power buttons at the same time when your phone is turned off.

But I downloaded an app (EZ Package Disabler Pro) that disables all KNOX apps and services, will this prevent KNOX counter?

I think that this app is not helpful in this solution because it blocks KNOX only in system, but not in recovery and download mode. So you must enter the download mode or recovery to flash anything on device and it will definitely affect the KNOX counter.

Then how can I root my A3 without tripping KNOX?

Noob question about custom recovery

Hi
I'm sorry for this noob question, Will flashing a custom recovery(only recovery like CWMR) via ODIN 3.09(is this the odin to be used now with S5) will trip yellow exclamation mark on boot and/or KNOX problem on my TMB S5 ? I'm stock non-rooted UVU1ANCH
Thanks

Unless something has changed since the Galaxy S4, I'm pretty sure you can just use an app called "Triangle Away" to reset the counter. Seems to have worked on my T-Mobile S5 since flashing the DeoDexed NE5 ROM and TWRP. Someone else here might know more than I, though. So I'd get a second opinion before proceeding. (Just to be sure.)
EDIT: Just read in another thread that there is a hardware tampering system in place in this device. So there might be more to this than I thought.

Triangle away does not yet work for the s5. Yes, flashing a custom recovery will trip knox. There is no yellow exclamation point on the s5 and if you are running a custom rom them you will never notice the difference. It is a hardware feature that is now built into the phone and there is no way to disable it.

Thanks for the answers, so I understand flashing anything on ODIN will trip the KNOX counter.
What if I then odin the whole stock UVU1ANCH tar again ? will it be reset ?
as far as i know, once it tripped u can not reset it back.

[Q] A question about rooting and official roms

Hello, I'm new here and this is my first post so sorry if this is in the wrong section. I saw the thread where I should post this question.
I recently rooted my S III GT-I9300 and, as expected, I couldn't download any more software updates. Then by choice I decided to reinstall my phone's operating system using Odin with official firmware from Sammobile.com. And now it seems like my root has been removed? I am currently installing my software updates (I installed 4.1.2 using Odin, and now it's downloading the 4.3 package). Is everything now set back to normal? Everything like Knox security, flash count and all that stuff since I've installed official firmware? Thanks for anyone's time for answering this.
Hey there, welcome to the forum.
When you reflash any stock rom via Odin it will get rid of root.
If you then flash 4.3, the rom won't be rooted for the reason above, but you may still have a remaining flash count from when you previously rooted your SIII. That can be checked in download mode (should say somethingsomething: Yes (1 counts) )
If thats the case then
-Root 4.3
-Use Triangle Away (it works really well and its not too much hassle)
-Reboot to download mode
-Reflash 4.3
And then everything should be back to normal. Thank God we don't have to worry about Knox.

Do not turn of target only if you flash something

Root for NG3?

Hi, I got my S5 today and out of the box it had NG3 installed, is there a root method for this yet? If so could someone point me in the right direction of where I can find it please?
Have you tried towelroot?
Let us know if you tried it and whether or not it worked please.

I did but idk if I did something wrong, I soft bricked and had to odin back stock with the firmware off of samfirmware site
Kernel build date on NG3 is July 19 so the exploit has been patched. Can't root with towelroot since it needs a kernel build before Jun 3.
What I did was odin flash philz recovery, then went into the custom recovery and went to reboot, it asked me to root and so I did then was able to download su from play store and was rooted

I was on nf6 rooted but then hooked phone to PC and used odin to flash the new bn3 and lost root..and towel root doesn't work so the only way I new of to get root back was flash custom recovery then root it through the custom recovery ...

This phone will never not be rootable. It has an unlocked bootloader, so you can just flash the recovery of your choice, root it from there, then reboot and you're done.

And why is that? Unless Samsung has restricted the bootloader permissions or set a new qfuse to block a downgrade of this firmware version, then the OP could use Odin to install a pre June 3rd build of 4.4.2 firmware, which Towel root can work with.
The previous update was revertible by installing an earlier firmware (confirmed). And NG3 is probably revertible as well (unconfirmed) i.e. it will be revertible unless Samsung took explicit steps to block a downgrade.
Provided that the OP doesn't care about the Knox flag, then the suggestion to install a custom recovery and root from there is valid too.

Yeah, I did it via download mode.
So, what I did, I flash it via Odin in Download mode, and when it auto-reboots, I instantly hold Power + Pwr Up + Home in order to get to Recovery.
If I let it boot up first, it seems that recovery is overwritten by the stock recovery.
All good now =)

Hi guys, no luck here, have the G900T, with the NG3, tried all with Odin, phillz recovery, bootloader+modem, downgrade to NF6 (failed too) or even the one before, nada, zero, just fail and fail resulting soft brick and only through Kies recovery I'm able to have the phone working again!

But as I commented on my first post here, nada, nothing, I have tried the Phillz, the CF-auto-root, downgrade, with the original cable and others, with and without the sim card and/or sd card inserted (all of this with usb debug on in the developers settings) i dont really understand why, everything I try goes to fail and soft brick, only recuperable with Kies and full wipe...
Mine is the MS-G900T with the latest firmware :S is very weird, isn't the first time I root a phone (Galaxy Vibrant and Blaze, Nexus and Nexus 7) and I have flsh a lot of times and I know the for this procedure you have to follow each letter step by step!
I'm start thinking that probably is a locked bootloader... dunno...
this was easy and thank you. i downgraded with the full stock file, no data loss. grabbed mobile pro and im now at ng3 rooted. tho my e-mail will not work. might have to factory reset the device.

use USB cable to attach phone to PC
then open Odin3 v3.10.7.exe file and use CP to add modem.bin it
then click on start, it should say pass and restart the phone, that should put the newest baseband, please let me know if you need any help. Thanks
Which ROMs should this kernel be used with? Only those based on stock 6.01?
Ok I had quite the time when I tried to use Flashfire to update OTA it broke my modem and boot. I had to use the recovery files and go back to 5.1.1 with the 4 recovery files in Odin3. After recovery I then restored the rooted stock ROM and flashed the modem for G900TUVS1FOL1 as TWRP could not restore the modem at all said it was read only
Wow! This update sucks! It breaks external SD storage and the phone is overheating to the point that it about burns my fingers. I am going back! Be smart STAY AWAY from this **** update! It will destroy your phone seems S5 can not handle it properly. I even did a factory wipe and no go.

Unrooting by flashing stock firmware-Samsung

I have a Samsung device (SM-T870) and in concept I want to unroot it. In magisk’s official installation guide, it says not to flash stock AP after root. So how can I unroot by flashing firmware? Can I unroot that way?
You'll find better help posting in the appropriate forum for your device. As a courtesy, your post will be moved to the Galaxy Tab S7 Questions and Answers subforum.
As for your question...yes, using Odin to reflash the factory firmware should do the trick. It's highly recommended to perform a data wipe when you do this, so you'd use the CSC .tar, not HOME_CSC

Yes, because flashing the stop AP.tar overwrites /boot and /recovery with the stock images, meaning Magisk gets removed.

Yes. Since you're flashing everything at once, this shouldn't be a problem. The potential issue exists if you attempt to flash the AP.tar alone.
From the Magisk guide:
Never just flash only AP, or else Odin may shrink your /data filesystem size. Flash AP + BL + CP + HOME_CSC when upgrading.
