My device could only have this problem but when I enable the Smart Lock in the trusted agents to gain access to the Face Unlock feature of Android Lollipop, the Face Unlock option is not there.

Where is the face unlock?
I haven't touched the OS, formatted, or whatever.
Sadly left out or something, I can't seem to find face unlock option in my settings either.
Maybe Marshmallow release will fix this.

I was thinking it would be a nice option to unlock especially when the selfie camera of this phone is huge and bright.

However i would just like to use Slide unlock. Is there a way to disable this security policy?

I've just updated to Android 4.0 and I've the same problem as you do.
This is some utter joke. I can either enable the credential store and disable screen lock but not both. This is really irritating . WHY the devs have designed it in this way? Isn't a password for credential storage enough to protect the data? Why do I have to enter PIN? Please FIX this asap!

It seems that I have some options grey'd out. I am currently using a Pattern.
I had to delete my credential storage (had my pad setup to connect to work email and the policy didn't allow face unlock). Then all the options were available but I wouldn't do this if you have policies for Email or vpn and so on.

After loosing Private Mode one of the best feature of S5 because of custom ROM, wondering is there any lock app that support fingerprint unlock method as private mode does?
You can still use fingerprint unlock on the lock screen.

You mean a lock screen that lets you open up a folder using the fingerprint unlock? I don't think there is one.

please anyone can tell me why Z5 Compact does not have the MXTP feature to lockdown the phone as in M4 Aqua, Z3+ and Z4Tablet C5 Ultra...etc?
I'd like to secure my Z5C in case it's lost or stolen. this feature is AWESOME!!! but also has it's cons!
there other "my Xperia" is useless after flash, because all will be gone!
anyone knows if it will be available for Z5 lines in 6.0.1 ? it's weird because under the Bootloader status it says

so it should have that feature!

Hello! I recently flashed Noble 1.7 ROM to my S9 Plus. Everything seems to be working great, but one thing that bugs me is the position of the Draw Pattern on the lock screen of the phone, the screenshot is attached below. With this, may I ask if there is any possible way for me to move the Draw Pattern lock in the lock screen (downward).
In addition, by browsing my phone settings, I noticed that "Wireless Power Sharing" is added, may I also ask if this will work on my S9 plus? Thanks!
