MXQ S85 Crashing TV - Android Stick & Console AMLogic based Computers

I'm new to Android TV boxes i recently bought a MXQ S85 But it keeps turning my TV off when watching it. It's as if the TV has crashed, normally when the TV is switched off there will be a little led which tells you it in standby this doesn't come on. The only way to get the TV back on is turn turn the Android box off. I can't change sources turn the volume up or change the channel. I've tired loads of different things but nothing seems to work.
What I've tried.
3 x HDMI Leads
4 x HDMI Ports
2 x MXQ S85 boxes
removing batteries from MXQ S85 remote control
Disable HDMI CEC
AV cable which come with MXQ S85
Changing the resolution and the refresh rates
I have tried a different TV and the MXQ S85 works fine with no problems. Has anyone got any ideas of what it might be?

[Q] Remote App question

Greetings fellow XDA members,
I was wondering if anyone else had this problem, or maybe Im doing something wrong. I set up the IR blaster with the HTC One native TV app on my Toshiba TV and Comcast Cable Box. Everything works fine, but the TV remote seems to be missing the 'INPUT' toggle, which is to be used to change the input on the tv between HDMI ports. I searched through settings, and saw an option where i could teach it inputs from my regular TV remote, and it easily learned the button, but still the 'Input' toggle does not show up on my TV remote. It seems very peculiar since my GS4 showed it out of the box, and it is one of the most common inputs i use. I wondered if it has anythign to do with my TV model, but i dont want to change it incase it stops working completely.
Please let me know if anyone had the same problem or if its User Error here Cheers

MXQ box is preventing me from turning off my TV !!!

In the past ive always watched my Sony TV using my (Vu Duo/Vix) Satellite Box and when ive turned off the satellite box its switched off the TV (setting in HDMI CEC setup).
Since I plugged in my new MXQ Android Box this no longer happens, I have to switch off the TV & Satellite boxes separately.
It doesnt seem to matter which Sony TV HDMI port my MXQ is plugged into, as long as its plugged in my Satellite Box has lost control of this function. (Nb. my MXQ is not powered up).
I also have a NOW TV box and this doesnt interfere in the way the MXQ does. This is all very strange to me.
Anyone else have this experience and can tell me how to deal with it?
Can no-one help me here? Is there somewhere else I would be better off posting this question?
switchable HDMI splitter box? maybe?

Odd issue causing AMLogic Android TV devices to lock up

I'm having an odd issue that's been causing my Android TV box to become unresponsive (interface gets sluggish and then remote inputs are repeated 2-30 times, so generally need to do a hard reboot). I suspect it has something to do with my IPTV box, and possibly it's standby screen (it outputs an idiot signal even when off telling you the box is in standby). If I don't switch to the IPTV box, it's generally rock solid, but after going back and forth (seems random - can be 1 switch or 10) it eventually locks up.
It started when I upgraded to the new 4K IPTV box, which also required changing my receiver (damn HDCP). I'm thinking it's not the receiver as I've seen it happen at least once on my secondary TV in the basement(used infrequently, so I'm not 100% sure), which has a similar IPTV box (just lacking the PVR function), but both devices are directly connected to the TV inputs.
Anyone have any ideas? Both my boxes appear to be no longer supported, so a software fix is probably a pipedream, but I can't just buy a new box as they all seem to be AMLogic based.
Setup:
Samsung 55" 4K 6300 series
Yamaha RX-385 Reciever (Switches HDMI imputs, and plays sound via ARC)
Mi Box 3 and Jetstream AGT-418
Arris VIP-5662W (Telus TV Mediaroom)

Xiaomi Mi Box S (MDZ-22-AB) CEC issues

Hello,
Hi, I have a new xiaomi tv box s on my lg and philips tv's and I enable the hdmi cec both.
On mi box settings I also enable the choice for "one key play" and "one key power off".
When I want to turn on both mi box and tv, it works, but when I want to power off both mi box and tv, it closes only the mi box.
I also have a older Xiaomi Mi Box S that works perfectly with both TV's, so I went back to the shop and replaced the new box but the issue remains.
I can't find any differences between the older box and the 2 new boxes other than the words in the back.
Could it be something related to the hardware or bad implementation of firware?
Or is there a way to download and clean install the a firmware to see if solves this issue?
It's extremely annoying!
Same, I have sony bravia.
Mibox turn on the tv butbit doesn't turn it off, sometimes it will work.and actually turn off the tv but only in rare ocasions, I guess iasue is that the miboxs doesn't turn off at all when pressing the power on the remote it just sleep. Because when I restart the mibox4 it will turn off the TV and turn it back on after few seconds

Netflix subtitle disappeared when connection Huawei P30 to a projector

Hello there,
I bought a USB-c to HDMI adapter today and tried to connect my Huawei P30 to the projector with it and a HDMI cable to watch Netflix.
The problem is the subtitle doesn't show on the projector screen but only on the mobile screen. Same issue when I try Disney +. I then tested with my iMac using the same adapter and cable and all worked well.
I searched here and someone mentioned to disable the hardware overlays in the developer options. I tried that and then yes the subtile worked on both screens however there's a new problem, the image itself disappeared on both screens, left only the sound and the subtitle.
Wondering if anyone can advise some other ways to solve this issue please?
TIA
