I'm not sure if x1066-1067 is for my model or not. I entered my serial number in the box on top of the drivers and it came up with no results for driver updates.

I tried the firmware update, but when I selected the .img file and clicked upgrade, it shuts down the tablet and after awhile it says that no device needs upgrading. Any luck on your end?

No luck yet. I haven't found anything that works. I have pretty much given up.

The new kingroot apk works and on irulu website is the firmware I used to recover my tablet its called x1066 DRIVERS for a33 android 5.1.1 firmware v3.3rc5. It's in there support then downloads tab on irulu website use phoenixsuit or card to flash. You can use phoenix card and set it to startup and it will boot firmware from extsd instead of flashing so you can try it before flashing your device. You will need an ext card reader to use with phoenix card. Video how to use here

Thanks ddubz, kingroot worked perfectly.
I just have 1 more problem with my irulu x11. I can't find how to move apps to sd card. When I go to settings, apps, and netflix for example, the option to move to sd card is not even there like it is on my sony xperia phone. I tried installing appmgr III, moveTosdcard and link2sd. appmgr III gives me the following warning : "this device doesn't enable users moving apps to sd card." moveTosdcard says : "No need to move. Sdcard share the same disk with os." link2sd says : "Failure. App2SD is not supported by your device. Because your device has a primary external storage which is emulated from the internal storage. You can link the app in order to move its files to your sd card." But when I do link the app, then try to open it, the app crashes.
If anyone has a workaround for this, it would make my day. Thanks in advance for any advice you can provide.

Any new on this
Looking to get the 10.1 inch with octa core and drop a 128gb in it and root it.
Do their tablet work well?

Doesn't seem to work on my Irulu x11 on Kingroot.

There's actually an extremely easy way to root mediapad that I don't see here much, just go to the playstore install antutu battery saver, run the app, should be a button call root tool, click it it will redirect to the download page, click and it instantly roots also has option to unroot if needed for warranty purposes ext.
before you start, make sure you have the latest hisiute "huawei USB drivers" installed
Sorry, here's direct link: to root tool

that's for an intel atom tablet. But this link you sent me is for prestigio service purposes, it should have also 7177_3g. I contacted prestigio but they told me that I must send the tablet to a service, which I do not want to do just to recover operating system.

Sadly no!
SRSRoot is now supporting this tablet
http://www.srsroot.com/supported
but I can't make it work. I couldn't find adb driver for this tablet
SRSRoot cannot recognize it
I tried all sorts of drivers but cannot connect to the tablet in adb mode
If I can make it work, I would also be able to make a firmware backup

I used framaroot and worked!
But is there any custom recovery and Rom???
Yayeesss
Hello, fellow droiders. Exiting news: I made this acc 5 secs ago just to tell you: MADE IT!! I managed to root this tablet extremely simple:
Google "Kingo" and click the first thing(I can't post outside links it seems :/)
Now, I know that after installing this software (which is produced by a Chinese factory, thing shown in the window that pops up before installing) it will be a new and weird way to see this, but IT WORKS!! You won't get Superuser nor SuperSu, but a custom app made by them, but that works just like the two from above. I tested it myself with Es File Explorer and it works perectly. Before you can click Root (you'll see on the main screen of the programm) you will have to 1st enable and allow USB debugging on the tablet, then on the PC/Laptop agree to install some random chinese text that is actually the USB driver for Prestigio. Enjoy, and for any questions/problems contact me via [email protected]
I DID NOT MAKE THIS PROGRAMM NOR AM I AFFILIATED WITH IT IN ANY WAYS! All credits to the genius who made it

Lenovo Tab S8-50 Android Lollipop Info
I was talking with lenovo support and i asked for the release date for Android Lollipop for the Lenovo Tab S8-50 and she told me "Ok well once the drivers become available, I do not have that info for exact date ." There you go !! we have an early guess !
root is here you will need to register to download the file can confirm it works http://lenovo-forums.ru/topic/9671-lenovo-s8-50-tablet-root-права/

thanks
Rooted and fixed the display dpi. Changed from 320 back to 240 dpi using rom toolkit. To perform this fix you need to edit the prop.build.

Im more than sure it works on all lenovo tab s8-50's . it worked on my lenovo tab s8-50f so it should work with yours.
Worked
I had to use windows 7 32bit to get my Lenovo TAB S8-50f to root. I tryed with a 64bit version and could not get the ADB drivers to install. Windows said the msi file was unknown or damaged. In the end, the root was a success.
this work with old firmware kitkat 4.4.2 not work with lolipop 5.0.1..

[Q] Alcatel OT View 5.0 Root and Rom Help

Hey guys,
Long time no post, Haven't been on here since my Desire HD was still in it's prime.
I was wondering if anyone could help me out with what resources I could use/ read/ learn about to help me on my quest to root this phone (Alcatel OT View 5.0).
I bought it on a whim today, and my first impression was "Damn, this needs stock android"
I haven't been able to find much about it at all, in searches here, or anywhere else.
If needed I can post all the tech details about the phone if it will help send me in the right direction.
Thanks very much for any help, it is very much appreciated.
*Edit* Thus far I have tried Towelroot v3, SuperOneClick v2.3.3, and Framaroot v1.9.3. None of which have worked.
i did some searches and found no thing but you can try frameroot or towerlroot or z4root and then download supersu and install it

Help with Root access to my Insignia Flex 10.1" Marshmallow Android Tablet!

This is the newer version of the Insignia Flex tablet

Android Version is: 6 . 0 . 1 (marshmallow)
The Kernel Ver is:

Is anyone aware of a successful root access method for this table BESIDES KingRoot? Nothing against KR, I have just had nothing but adware problems whenever I've used it in the past. I've searched up and down for this particular model #, which is newer so I would appreciate any help, as I DO like this tablet. I would just like to have proper root access.
I found out that I can boot to recovery mode and load .zip files from SD or sideload from ABD. If this info helps, maybe someone has a suggestion?

I'm looking for same info. If I find anything I'll post here.
Me too. I am looking for a straight forward method. One root and King root seem to like to adding some of their own crap ware. I want my root to use a well respected SU like SuperSU.
I am probably going to use KR, and then use SuperSUme to switch roots to SuperSU.

Please let us know if that works out OK.
I just got a mint one from ebay. I've tried KR and kingo for pc and android and all 4 ways failed. I really want this rooted. I like the minimalistic stock rom.
Did anyone find a way to root the tablet? I want to root my Insignia - Flex - 8" tablet NS-P16AT08. Need help.
