I want to flash the newest Firmware with Flashtool, but I stuck on the "plugin your device" screen. Can anyone help?
I used "sa0113adb" adb driver. Flashtool cant detect my Z5C right..
delete pls, i pushed volume up not down..... sorry

My X10 gets as far as the Sony Ericsson logo but my computer wont recognize it. SEUS or flashtool wont recognize it either though it appeares I can get it into flashmode,like the green LED comes on and stays on. I have installed and reinstalled drivers multiple times and I have flashed stuff with flashtool before so I kind of know what I'm doing at least. Any Suggestions would be great.

Try this :
1-Install Sony PC Companion
3-Download flashtool 9.0.0 and not the latest version (because the latest one doesn't work for the X10 I think)
4-Install the drivers located in flashtool's installation directory for ex : C:\Flashtool\drivers
4-Connect your phone in flash mode (plug the usb while holding the back button) and wait for the drivers to install
Just go back to stock 2.3.3 ROM, search for it on the forum, download it and then flash it using Flashtool.
you only need the drivers you have with pccompanion. latest flashtool works for me. search for "dixperia 7 avenger", there youll find stock 2.3.3 kernel. flash it with flashtool and retry to connect to seus.

Hello, I´ve searched for solution of my problem all day, but cannot find way to solve that..
I have xperia PRO MK16i and I wanted to update it on Jelly Bean with Pacman Custom ROM. But in recovery mode, when I was updating, it suddenly aborted.. it wrote something with "status 7, update aborted" ...and now I can´t do anything with it, phone doesn´t boot and it´s stucked in SONY logo..
So I wanted to return back to previous firmware (ICS 4.0.4) via flashtool, but I have another problem.. when I plug the device in fastboot mode, pc doesn´t recognize it and flashtool is always showing that window with process that I should power off device, plug usb cabel into pc with fastboot mode.. device has blue led next to hdmi port, but regardless of it nothing happens...
I installed SDK manager with hope I can repair it but still have the same issue... adb drivers don´t seem to work..
Every help will be appreciated.. btw, sorry for my english, I´m not from english speaking country, but I hope u understand my problem :/
PS: have windows 8 (x64) on my laptop

Probably its some Windowsish mess. I would try other operating system, you can download live CD for any linux and try to run it there. Should work like charm.

first let me say thank you to this incredible community that saved my phones many times.
I received an xperia neo mt15i that is bricked. When I turn on the sony logo appear..after xperia logo and restart in loop mode. I don't know anything about what have done the last owner but I suppose he tried to change rom and made some mistakes. I tried many guides with flashtool, with emma, with update service..but nothing works. The point is that the phone is not recognised when I've to connect to start the process. If I press the back button when I'm connecting the cable a green light turn on (blue with menu botton) but is not recognised. What I can do?

Are ADB drivers correctly installed on your pc ?
Have you tried with another phone ?
I think that could be. I've downloaded the flashtool and in the folder drivers I started the program flashtool-drivers and installed all the drivers (just in case ) it's correct? I've to do other thinks ?

I'm using xp so I don't think. Few weeks ago I installed the adb drivers for a lenovo p770..maybe I've to uninstall it?

i have a problem as i said at the title
i reset my phone with the pc companion than i flash the wrong rom which is device x10 and version v1
so it didnt work . Sola got stuck in bootlop
flashtool doesnt work. i tried to repair with pc companion as you guess it didnt work
fashtool said device disconnected, be sure about to mtp mode and start with the debugging off

Turn off ur device, remove battery or press power+volume up 5 sec
Download right ftf using XperiaFirm or whatever u want
Then flash, it's simple like 1+1
So my mothers xperia z5 compact have gone totaly bricked after making a software update and i can't find a way to fix it in anymay. It bootloops and after the white sony logo it shows a dead android with the message "Fel" (Wrong in swedish) and and just continue in a cirle like that. I can't seem to get into either recovery or fastboot tried with adb/fastboot with the computer still can't acces it, neither sony companion recognice it. Anyone can maybe have a solution will make a big help here because i'm totaly out of ideas to fix this.
This will remove all data, except SD card.

Hold volume down and insert a USB that is already connected to your pc, release when power LED turns green
In Emma chose an service and click Apply Service
This will download and install it to the phone.

If you search the forum you can definitely find a guide on how to use the program.
I also bricked my phone. Tried flashing a generic TFT in Flashmode via the Flashtool, and it seemed to go through.
But now, it shows "Update failed, please connect your computer" logo when I try to boot it.
I had previous tried mucking around in fastboot mode trying to flash Lineage.
I may have accidentally messed up my boot.img. If so, which one will I need to flash, and how to go about doing it?
