Hello guys I have a problem with WiFi. No problem with my wifi at home but I can't connect to university wifi. It doesn't show the access page with password ecc..from browser i was able to go in this page but after the access it gives me this error :error 400 invalid Mac address. How can I solve this?
Does your university use 5.2ghz? If so your OPX won't work on it, as it only supports 2.4ghz WiFi.

I had the same problem with the WiFi in McDonald's! It connects to WiFi but there's no way to access to Internet! I don't think it's a problem with 5.2 Ghz because it shows and connects the WiFi.

Hmm well its the only thing I can think off.
Perhaps macdonals requires some sort of login?
I had some problems with wifi after restoring data in TiBu from my previous device... Not sure if it will help but I think I deleted the offending entry for the network in /data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf

Yes I can't able to access only in WiFi's that require login! Maybe is the Mac address because the error is that!

Did you restore data from TiBu?
I've never done it this way, but I don't see why you can't ust make the edit using a texteditor in adb shell.
Try:
adb shell pico /data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf

I didn't restore anything, I didn't root the x yet!! So it can't be a problem given from root or apps related to root!

My opx is connecting to my wifi ... But,the connection becomes slow once when my opx is connected. If i disconnect my mobile , the connection is good.

It is possible to block all the background work dolphin do with ads and the other uneeded service wich use data and battery?
Suppose you leave dolphin open on a simple page while you are readind he is continuosly using your system even if you don't need...It's really heavy specially for the battery.
The layout and options as auto Fullscreen are amazing but i would like it working as the stock browser without connecting in the background with the dolphin server without permission...

I have greenify but this is ok only if you want to freeze the app running in background and is not the case of dolphin.The problem of dolphin is if you open it without browsing any page it start to work collecting your data.Also if you are reading any page it work a lot in background connecting with Dolphin server monitoring your info ecc...I would like to skip their server

I download lucky patcher but dolphin and desktop toogle are red means they don't have any licence or ads to remove but i'm sure is not like this...

I've tried a few different methods and this one app i tried to use said it was incompatible because I had an emulated storage (not sure about what it means). If anyone has any surefire methods I would be very appreciative!

What is going to be most commonly asked question:
Q. How do I modify build.prop
A1. Use Root Explorer to make changes on phone. Make not of current permissions of original build.prop file and make sure modified build.prop file permissions match before you reboot. If permissions are not set properly than tablet will not boot.
A2. Use the attached ZIP file to flash build.prop
A3. Pull build.prop file from your AOSP ROM, make the changes you want, save new build.prop file, replace your modified build.prop with one in attached zip file and than flash.
After I made my changes to the build.prop I placed it into my GApps package so when I flash new ROM and GApps, the modified build.prop will flash with GApps.
Notes:
Not all lines may need to be changed. That's what I changed on first try to get it QPair to work.
When you flash new ROM you will need to modify build.prop or flash a modified build.prop...

Yep and no need the palman entries, I've just changed v500 to v510, probably only needs one entry changed but I haven't tried to find out which one.
What I don't understand is why this works, pretending to be a v510 whereas Qpair belongs on v500. Can a real GPE v510 download, install and pair?

It may download a different version from play store that is not looking for specific files in the LG stock ROM or they can disable it if stock qpair is not found. Many ways to check and they picked the easiest way to bypass so let's hope they keep it that way.

Hi, after modifying build.prop do you reinstall from the good play store? or do I need to flash a zip that is a special version for tablets? Because when I reinstall from the google play store and go into the initial setup pushing the start button does nothing. I can just tap it over and over it it show the animation of getting pushed down but nothing happens. (I'm on the CM11 rom)

Same here. I'm starting to thing that with the edited build.prop, the Playstore installs a version for AOSP roms that doesn't need any LG framework bits to work. I'll pull the apk from my GPad and upload it here. If someone is willing to give it a go, It might install and run fine without any editing.

Is Hangouts SMS working with QPair? I just started using it and QPair on tablet is not letting me receive Hangouts SMS.

But you won't get any SMS in Hangouts at the tablet at all. QPair does only show a window at the tablet.

Stock messaging app I get notifications on tablet but won't send reply.
Hangouts SMS I get no notifications.
I thought when I first used QPair the replies went through but now it is not sending.

was it naive of me to hope that this would work with my V500? I tried it with both V-500 and V-510 under ro.product.model and it connects properly only to fc immediately afterwards. Qpair then fcs every time when opened and on the phone it says "not connected". Any idea why, any advice? Thanks!

Select your APN. Set proxy to localhost and the Port to 2020
Hit the menu and save it
To block ads while on Wifi
Go to settings > Wifi > long press your connected Wifi connection and choose Mofdify
Set proxy to manual, scroll down and set the proxy and port to the same as above
Load up adblock plus and ...
Profit

Trying it on my nexus7 2013 Wi-Fi, and the main thing I've noticed is that the pictures/videos won't load in Instagram. Any way to "white list" an app? Otherwise, so far so good!
*edit* Also noticing ads on YouTube. Not sure if they would be impacted or not, but figured I'd bring it up. Great work otherwise!

I did. I think ABP is just missing some of the ads I see most often. After a reboot apps and web pages look the same on WiFi and cellular.

I tried block this and netguard. They will install but ads stillthere.
Adguard what i have right now. No ads for sure. As for youtube im a google music subs so my youtube will convert as youtube red no ads

Just removed root from Android N DP4 as it might is the reason for my device lag and freeze. Installed Adblocker Plus, configured proxy, saved APN. Opened Google News and got pop-up ad in ten seconds.
