When upgrading with Flashtool got stock with the drivers - Xperia Z5 Compact Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I am just doing a simple upgrade to Android 5.1.1 on my Z5C but when installing Flashtool drivers I don't see the Z5c drivers, it seems that teh most recent is the Z3c. This is what I did:
USB debugging mode
I'd installed the Sony PC Companion 2.1 on the PC
Downloaded "flashtool-0.9.19.8-windows" and installed it
Applied the 0.9.19.10 jar file in top of the 0.9.19.8
Set the PC to avoid the signature verification
Runned the Flashtool-drivers.exe (Since Z5c's are missing, I selected flashmode, flashboot and Z3C drivers)
Run FlashTool64.exe as admin with the phone connected and the following message is displayed:
INFO - Flashtool Version 0.9.19.10 built on 04-10-2015 21:00:00
INFO - Executing search strategies to find proxy selector
INFO - No proxy found for IE. Trying next one
INFO - Proxy found for firefox
INFO - Syncing devices from github
INFO - Scanning devices folder for changes.
INFO - Pulling changes from github.
INFO - Devices sync finished.
ERROR - Drivers need to be installed for connected device.
ERROR - You can find them in the drivers folder of Flashtool.
How you guys did it?

Try this
h**p://developer.sonymobile.com/downloads/drivers/xperia-z5-compact-driver/

Did you find the solution? I have the same problem and dont know what to do .

I would download virtual box, run ubuntu, attach USB to virtual machine.

Here is my personal experience.
I found that Windows not able to load the USB device driver for the VB71 tablet.
Since Viewsonic does not provide the driver in their support web site, you can download the SuperOneClick software (in fact any software come with the Android USB driver) from cnet.com
Then, plung the tablet to your PC (do not Enable the USB Connection) when prompt by your tablet - Windows XP will prompt that new hardware detected and prompt to install new driver for the “VSM752HC” device (the tablet USB device name). I direct the prompt to use the folder of the SuperOneClick software driver folder - example
“C:\Android software\SuperOneClick\SuperOneClickv2.3.3-ShortFuse\Drivers”
to look for driver installation by windows and windows able to install the driver from there.
Note: Only use the driver of SuperOneClick – this software can only root old versions of Android … not Android 4.x
And you can see that the device now become “Android Phone” in the windows “Device Manager”.
After you have windows installed the USB driver for your Android device. Go and download “Android_Root_1.0” (which support Android 4.x) from sourceforge.net. Unzip it to a folder.
Connect your tablet to the PC with Android USB Debugging enabled and run the downloaded script “ICS_Root_Unlocker.bat” under the “Android_Root_1.0” folder.
It will stop and then start "ADB server" (Android Debugging server) and then prompt you to “hit ENTER key to continue” – wait for the reboot complete and "USB Debugging connection is back ON" before you hit the ENTER key !! This applies to first two reboots.
On the third time, you will not see the machine come back on (seems dead) but wait for a few minutes and just “hit ENTER key to continue” which will complete the final change and perform last reboot.
Just “hit ENTER key to continue” to quit the script.
Note: In the first few trials without success – I was not sure anything is going on and assumes the script is dead. I did a Factory reset on the VB71 tablet to put the Factory setting back before I perform the root script again.
Key points:
- You NEED to install make sure the Android drivers for your phone are installed
- You NEED to put your phone on USB Debugging mode (and connected) for the script to work
- Make sure you DO NOT mount your SD card
- If you still can't get something to run, try doing it in recovery mode (or set it back to Factory settings).
All the best with your rooting !

[Q] Huawei U8650 problem install drivers. help me please

hello.
i have very problems to install usb drivers for my phone huawei U8650.
i try everything i find in internet to install but, every try, dont work.

then i chose :update driver software,
then Browse my computer for driver software
then Let me pick from a list of device driver on my computer
then Open folder with drivers that i downloaded and Select file "android_usb.inf" and click "Open".

help me, i try another solutions but the pc give error: best driver already installed.
anyone.
ps i try in a pc with a windows xp, but the results are the same...
Hello,
Have you tried official ones from Huawei?
I can't post any link, so you google for "HUAWEI Android Phones USB Driver" and look for the huawei website (it was the 2nd google result for me), the properties are v1[1].0 | 2011-06-29 | 7.76MB
I have a U8860 and in windows 8 it worked very well. Connect your phone (maybe you need to enable the usb debugging mode on the developer settings of your phone) and just run the installation and execute the thing that will give you the option for drivers installation. There is no need to do any manual .inf selection to install.
Hope it helps
Thanks to try help.
i did what you said, first i unninstall the drivers, then i install drivers from huawei website. but still the same. When i connect the usb in computer, only starts charging the phone. nothing more happens.

[Q] Connecting android tablet as testing device

Hello everybody!
I have a problem related to connectivity between my desktop (Windows) and tablet (Android 4.1). I bought a new device (Colorovo City Tab Vision 7) and now I want to use it for testing of my applications, because emulation of android is very slow on my computer, although I forced it to create snapshot every run.
I have downloaded SDK with Google drivers and also some unofficial drivers I found on web. When I connect my device, it first appears 'Other device' (label is CTVision7) and it's marked as unknown. I tried to install drivers (Google) for it, but windows said that they aren't suitable for my device, as it's not able to find them in specified directory.
After these attempts I tried unofficial drivers. Their installation worked and now my device appears as Android phone, what seems to be good.
But when I run
Code:
adb devices
or launch application in eclipse, there's not avaible device.
I have turned USB debugging on, so it should work.
Am I missing some step to make my device avaible for debugging, or are my drivers wrong? Is there any way to get drivers which surely work?

Fusion5 W104 32gb Tablet - Drivers required

Basically got a new tablet - A Fusion5 32Gb 10.1 - & I'm using Windows 8.1
It connects up & is seen as a Camera when I select PTP mode, but it's unable to be seen if selecting MTP mode.
I have tried installing ADB drivers but none seem to get it to recognize the tablet, but my Samsung S4 is fine
I am also unable to use Helium (formally Carbon) on the tablet, as when using the PC app all I get is a 'Waiting for device' message - which I'm guessing is because of the missing Tablet Drivers
I've tried google for 'fusion5 drivers' without much luck , buta 'driver finder program' claimed the tablet MAYBE 'Micromax W104' - but once again I am unable to find any drivers
I've tried rebooting PC, tried different USB sockets - nothing seems to work.
Can anyone help ??
IS there a driver for this tablet ??
I did find this micromax driver page - but w104 not on the list [http://gsmusbdriver.com/category/micromax] so I'm stuck.

Help needed with Universal Naked Driver

Hi Folks,
I've been trying to follow the tutorial "Guide/tutorial] Asus Transformer Prime/TF201 stock to Android 7.1 Nougat" which go well to the point I have to connect the tab In APX mode(step 4).
Installing the USB_APX driver from explorer( right mouse button & install) does not work, it gives an error me “The inf file you selected does not support this method of installation”.
Connecting the tab in APX mode (volume+&power) gives an unknown device in device manager. Updating the driver of this unknown device with android_apxusb.inf gives me an error: "the given folder does not contain a compatible driver for your device, check if the driver matches windows 32-bit computers etc. This with a windows 7-32bit pc, win10-64 gave similar results.
Should I manually update the driver to some other device found in the list of other drivers found on my pc? Sadly there is no asus or anything.
Thanks in advance
Got the thing going with downloading google android drivers
