Sweet!

Awesome
But without VoLTE, does that mean we cant use simultaneous voice/data for now? Or is the Turbo able to do LTE on one and 3G (or even 1x) on another radio?

EDIT: Never mind.

VoLTE is not supported for now, so no calls & data at the same time. As of now, VoLTE is harder to integrate properly, due to it's proprietary nature.

BTW on RR CallRec don't work, just like I have test in the past, If is working on CM let me know, I click recording get a error and a empty file is created, maybe is something related to voice files from the kernel or permissions don't really know about it, there is a xposed module that enables it I cant test without enable it on the tree, but I enable on the tree to test and no good.
To enable VoLTE on the ROM I use this.
https://github.com/bhb27/android_de...mmit/fb40a6d5158cc3922489cc3b0e1e12e3ecc3a278
Is probably only necessary the commit above but...
One week ago I have included all vendor files from su44, I know don't need them all (fw and others), but I prefer like this. If the vendor did it is probably those *ims* files, but I did not included ims.apk.
https://github.com/bhb27/proprietary_vendor_motorola/commit/c5139f037b0a4e528cf704ca2e144c3688c727af
changes to the device proprietary/vendor:
https://github.com/bhb27/android_de...mmit/f56603e03bd60a75ac967627f09cbcf5e7a1de6f
On device tree I have update and add some audio/mixer files don't know if that helps, if they do, look for commits from 11/23 and up on the device tree RR, all from su44.
Some have a VoLTE setting like this one:

I am on the 11/29 nightly and everything is working. However, my biggest battery drain, aside from screen, is Cell Standby and I'm getting about 45% time without a signal. Is there anything that I can do to correct this?

So I am running CM 12.1 as my daily driver, I'm on nightly 11/29. I have noticed some things. First my phone runs fast as all hell, very responsive. Second I seem to have developed a new spot which gets warm under heavy use. On Mofo rooted ComputerFreek build the center of the back, just over the battery would get warm during heavy use or charging, now it's the center bottom, just over the Droid logo. Third my phone can and will literally go for several hours (at least 3) using only 1% of the battery if I have my radios off, active display on and brightness set to auto. If I am using the phone then the battery starts to drop pretty quickly, bit I can still squeeze out 2+ days with it, no question. Just a little feedback, thanks for the ROM!

Is it possible you weren't using high accuracy location in the old ROM?

VoLTE
Quick question about VoLTE: I realize there's a patch available, but is that something we can apply to the phone, or will it require a recompiled system apk?

To flash the new nightly builds on my droid Turbo xt1254 do i need anything other than the system image? I know a couple older builds worked with custom kernel but I'm unsure if that's still necessary for builds past 11/29?

It is no longer necessary.

Try this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-maxx/development/motomaxx-volume-mod-t3019203
Seems to work on CM12.1 not sure about RR though.

The kernel app I used has a volume option you can enable in it.
Flash the baybutcher kernel and install kernel adiutor from play store and set the audio higher.
(I question the need for the kernel for this but if you're going to install kernel software might as well.)

Is there any way to flash it with twrp on droid turbo? I have all the images in my downloads folder, but is there something special that I have to do besides just flashing the 3 zips?

You might immediately before hand get a GPS lock. Seems to help get the GPS working in cm12. But this is what I would do.
Wipe in twrp, (data, cache, dalvik) install cm12.1, install gapps, kernel if you want, then wipe in twrp again.

As good a place as any to post this.
Pio-masaki.com is being shut down due to a Cease and Desist order sent against the host by Google and homeland security. I have no idea why, however until this is sorted out, and to avoid any possible or further legal issues, the site is down for a period of time that can be a day or forever. This includes any and all ROMs, kernels, gapps packages, for any and all devices, that were hosted on pio-masaki.com.
I apologize in advance for this as I know some ROMs are only available at pio-masaki.com, but it is out of my hands, the host has to consider their own safety, and has my 100% agreement and backing in taking down the site until the matter is resolved.
As this is a very large matter, and one that has us incredibly scared, I'm retreating from android for the time being, until I know what it was that I did that was illegal, and may return once this is cleared up and blows over.
After this is cleared up the hosting for pio-masaki.com may still remain offline as the hoster has some personal issues with me at this point and may or may not continue to host for me, should we resolve our differences it may return.
If by some chance Google or whoever sent the C&D notices this, I urge you to contact me as I was responsible for what was hosted, and would genuinely like to know what the issues are so we can get them resolved immediately.
I will be making similar postings or editings to any other ROM threads that link to pio-masaki.com.

TIPS:
CDMA vs GSM in a Global ROM
CDMA Users, visit settings > Wireless & networks > more > Mobile networks and select the following:
Network Mode = LTE/CDMA/EvDo
System select = Automatic
CDMA Subscription = RUIM/SIM
If you are having issues with CDMA, try this trick
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=45654080
GSM users, visit settings > Wireless & networks > more > Mobile networks and select the following:
Network Mode = GSM/WCDMA preferred
System select = Automatic
CDMA Subscription = RUIM/SIM
If there are issues using GSM on the Global ROM setup, I'll go back to making a GSM specific version if needed (APN settings are missing, so this may cause problems)
LANGUAGE:
The ROM is Asian, as such its native language is Chinese, this can be changed immediatly as the first screen offers you a scrolling list of available languages. This is a very international ROM, with a huge variety of languages, just scroll down or up to your preferred language and the ROM will then run in that language.

No sir, its basically a lightweight ROM with only a few additions, its actually the first ROM to appear with Listview animations that are now in every other ROM out there. They also have a mod to the recent apps list that now appears in PAC, and maybe other ROMs as well. Its based on CM10.2 and contains the mods for that, plus PIE, HALO, Listview animations and some other features tucked in there.
Cool...Thanks and Thanks on your awesome work I guess I prefer ChaOS

That's why I offer a variety of ROMs, I think I've covered every option and choice in the ROMs I've made available, feel free to enjoy whatever you want, even if i didn't make it :silly:
I've heard a lot of good things about MoKee, but I've tried one of your previous releases as well as others for different devices and everything's always been in pure Chinese without giving me the normal option to change it in initial setup (or maybe I missed it since I can't read Chinese, haha), so is this in English? I'd like to check it out in full English, but as a minimalist, I don't like having all the other (Chinese specific, useless to me) pre-configured stuff like baidu loaded up. It seems like a neat ROM to check out, but personally I'd be curious to see if anyone mods it more for global use.
Edit: I know it's not gonna be perfect, but I was wondering if this was still considered beta or is it "stable" now?

Read the second post, I addressed languages, you can run it in English it's always been an option in the setup. This ROM is the definition of a Global ROM, it has probably every language android has available as an option, and runs on CDMA and gsm carriers.
Its been stable for some time now, but with the switch to the M7 kernel and its steps backwards I've marked it alpha again, when the M7 base is back to where the DLX kernel used to be, it'll go back to beta.

MoKee got me off carbon. Running mokee on my DNA and nexus 7 now. English definitely works fine on everything except that market app that comes with it...
I got a lot of random reboots on the latest build I did with the m7 kernel. Anyone else got that or was my build a little off?
Went back to an earlier build and it's running fine.

If its everytime you turn off the screen or the screen powers off, its your build. Try mine and see if it happens, if it doesn't, I can correct that for you. While mokee seems to have the dlx in their sources, it's broken so I doubt it's actually maintained by anyone that builds or uses it. I don't use their trees I use my own, got tired of correcting the same mistakes over and over again
Edit: I sent a pull request to correct that, you can see it here https://github.com/MoKee/android_device_htc_dlx/pull/4 and you can easily implement it yourself.

Are you sure that this was a problem and not a bandaid? Are they using the right vendor tree (TheMuppets)? Your fix and the description of the problem, sound like you / MoKee may be missing this commit from the vendor tree.

Since I'm addicted to Xposed Framework and CM13 builds are discontinued I decided to build new LOS13 myself. At the beginning this project was just vanilla LOS13 without any addons or patches built from official LOS13 github, with time I applied few patches and performance improvement like UKSM, ZRAM and many others tweaks.
You can flash it on top of CM13 build.

Does this come with or without root preinstalled? The Lineage 14.1 builds for this device come without root (but can be rooted with a separate zip if desired) and it passes Safety Net checks for those of us that like to play Pokemon or use Android Pay.
I upgraded my last CM13 to LOS13 and it's still rooted (SuperSu). You have to try clean install yourself, but I'm pretty sure LOS13 is pre-rooted just like CM13 was.

This is the best daily driver for my phone because: setting APN is not broken on this ROM so it enabled me to switch from Ringplus to Total wireless, and because I can use xposed with it.
Only problem I had is finding the lineageOS file that works to add root access (the one I tried did not work after I flashed)

System Apps are from aosp oraz Google? Can you make screenshot from app drawer?
Is the fingerprint scanner working consistently? For me it says hardware not found after a few uses and it takes forever to scan my finger.
Bugs?

Yes it comes with preloaded gapps. Minimal but efficient, it also includes google's setup wizard. Doesn't include the pixel live wallpapers. I'm working on a Flashable pack that flashes the necessary google stuff like the blue theme that can't be found in Gapps. As for gapps, I suggest you either flash aroma gapps and set it not to flash camera, or just not flash gapps since the builds include google camera and it's working just fine.

From what I can gather, a bug exists and my guess is that it is because fingerprint wake and unlock is enabled. It's a feature that keeps the fingerprint sensor on when the screen is off and if you just touch the sensor without turning the screen on, the device automatically turns on unlocked. I tried finding a way to disable it but had no luck. If you try unlocking when the screen is off(touch the sensor) a few times the screen won't turn on and a force reboot is needed.
Another bug, or just a glitch is in the ui where toast messages(notifications) background color ia changed from white which is the default color to black but the text is still black and the padding in the box is more than usual.
Other than that, everything's working for me.
I've installed the march 27th build + supersu and opengapps stock and my own pack that I mentioned.
I've been waiting for a build like this and I'm keeping it on my device.
Also, one thing I noticed was that there is no battery tile, in fact there is one embedded into SystemUI but it seems to be replaced with a battery saver tile instead which is useless. I hope I either find the time to solve these problems or someone else does.
Either way, huge thanks to OP.
Thankyou very much!!!
This is my best phone so far!!
Bugs and bugs and bugs !
Sorry but since i installed your image, i keep on having bugs !
First, fingerprint is not working (works at first boot then not functionnal after a short time)
Secondly, the phone crashes all the time so i have to reboot it several times a day.
I also noticed a weird effect on the ear speaker. when i talk to my friends, i can hear myself out of the speaker. Very annoying and irritating !
I am more than surprised that no one talks about theses stuffs ...

You know right that this ROM is still in the stable beta stage, and that your issues is related to lack of 100% configured & enhanced drivers from the AOSP device tree for the MSM8998 chipset (this is purely at Qualcomm and Sonys end).
This ROM is pretty much stable as it is, for now. So.

Hello, the apps take too much time to load and the rom is a bit slow in general. Is this normal, or how can I speed things up?
I'm using a microsd for internal storage (adopted), though apps are installed on onboard storage.
Magisk and xposed are also installed.
The rom is good though, no complains.
(forgot to add: battery drain is too much (not so bad on battery saving mode)).
(2)Forgot to add: the microsd card is a sandisk uhs 1 card with up to 80 mbps so it ain't slow.
Apparently flashing dragon elite 1.4 and tuning with theragingbeast improves the battery drain issue. But general sluggishness still remains. Guys tell me what have you got.

Thanks for your work @shubhkirtisharma. I tested this rom on my K5 plus(2GB). Yes, there is some lag in the opening of some applications and the battery drain is little bit faster then in "Oreo". But overall the rom is stable and I think it is suitable for daily usage - no major bugs, "deep sleep" also is OK. The only bug that i found (the same is in the Viper OS) is that the location service only works with GPS - "High accuracy" and "Battery saving" cannot be activated.
Thanks again! I'll be waiting for the next update.

only a few chance that OEM image would fully functional, i recommend using Official phhusson GSI, currently running Havoc 3.8 and calling have sound
no in-call sound is not an oem or blobs issue, but audio HAL.
I would be glad if someone opened all the issues in the bug tracker, then I will not forget about anything and it will be easier for you to track their current status. Thanks.
Best regards,
Pavel

Pretty sure the vendor.img in cache will boot with X-Compact as the partitions are identical. I have a modified boot with the path set for vendor in kernel (hardcoded). Please advise.

Some things are different. You need another build. Otherwise you can damage your hardware.
If you are interested, I can make a build. But it will be Android 11

That'd be nice (AOSP 11); I think devs like @Sjll don't consider requests or the reasons why || are too busy with other devices. Currently, my hardware is not capable of producing builds or I already would have done it on my own. I attempted to produce the vendor.img and always got a soong 21 error without reasonable debug info leading me to believe RAM is the issue. Regardless, X-Compact needs some attention as everything available is not up to date. I think the kernel and AOSP 10 dev's device bit the dust and the tree is no longer being maintained.
