1) Backup & Factory reset then flash in recovery:
TWRP 3.0.0-0 (if anyone flashes with a higher version, please report)
2) Flash Gapps (recommend micro) - http://opengapps.org/
3) Screen will blank after a few minutes on the initial startup after flashing, the first boot may take several minutes (be patient, it will boot)
I started compiling this ROM as Unofficial because I have been using AICP exclusively for 2 years (on M7 & now Bacon) and figure if no one objects I can share some of the work. This is my HOBBY.
With that I say THANK YOU AICP (LorD ClockaN, n3ocort3x & semdoc along with their entire dev team) for bringing such terrific work to our devices. Special thanks to LorD ClockaN (motivation, encouragement, help & backbone of Official AICP), Pranav Cherukupalli & the legwork for the sources & kernels by Amaradeep Arora.
I make no claim to doing any more than compiling and making minor changes to what I want from the build. I own this device and enjoy making some minor modifications & tinkerings - I hope you will also. PEACE.
Basic Changes from "Official" AICP Rom:
OTA is NOT enabled on my build
(dirty flashing an "Official" over my build & vice versa does work, most changes I made are cosmetic with some cherri-picks)
I don't recommend "backwards" flashing dirty - so check the build dates

Recommended Gapps:
MUST flash 7.1 Gapps on the latest build. Tested with Slim's Revisited & opengapps / both boot fine.
Sim Revisited Gapps
TWRP 3.0 - Read this entire page first! If you flash with a higher version, please comment and let us know if it is successful.
- Nandroid / Backup your device!
- Standard factory reset wipe (recommended unless dirty flashing over THIS build)
- Flash Rom
- Flash Gapps 7.1
- Reboot

Bugs:
You may get 2 Flash errors logged - these will not affect boot or device (investigating)
TWRP 2 E: unknown command [log]
E:request read returned -1, errno: 5, exiting MtpServer::run loop

Status bar changes do not set
Camera video does not work yet Fixed

Tips:
Root Access
- Turn on developer setting by tapping build version info
- In developer options, select root access (no need to flash supersu or anything else)

New build 12/14 - new (WIP) TWRP Flashable boot-animation

The 12/12 build was constantly freezing up on me. I was using open gapps and I had a calendar has stopped working report. I was forced to stop using it because of the crashes were happening too often so I didn't get to notice more bugs.
I am downloading the 12/14 build and hope to test it tomorrow. Thanks

So spent a little time with it. I turned Google now on tap on and it said Google has crashed. Did that twice and then it stopped trelling me it wasn't working.
Also, when I tried to delete some quick settings buttons, the system ui would crash
That all I noticed but very nice Rom man. Buttery smooth.

Oh, BTW, I noticed I can't customize what the back button does but I can the menu and home button. Is that like that for all mm roms? I've been trying to find one but haven't seen one yet.
I haven't tried gravity box but on other mm roms, gravity box wasn't working. They may have updated it now but at least about a week ago it wasn't working.

Are you using opengapps? I don't use Google Now because of the battery drain, but I tried on the latest build and didn't get any crash with "Ok Google" from voice activated or from the search bar.
I had issues with editing quick settings buttons on 12/12 build (actually reboot), 12/14 was more stable I think too. My 12/12 build was compiled early in the AM (05:22AM), later that day there were some merges for settings tiles that may have not made it into that build. There have been some more changes according to gerritt - I will re-sync and compile again this afternoon.

Yes. Exactly, except the newest build I can not change quick setting buttons. Also, Google now on tap doesn't work. I have not used it yet because no mm roms I've used works with it yet... Haven't tried a lot of mm roms.
Dev for this, will you please add customizable back button. I've got way to used to it on roms now. I don't like doing xposed cause its one more thing to screw up for me. Regardless, I will prolly just set the menu button up if the back key isn't added.

When you click "Edit Tiles" from the pulldown, you don't have a button at the top right to add tiles?

Won't boot for me. It goes ask the way through the gapps (I'm using open gapps full 6.0 arm) and then goes into the boot animation again and just stays there
