ZenFone 2 ( Z551) calling screen not working for Incoming and Outgoing calls - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

After rooting my ASUS ZENFONE 2 (Z551) the calling screen is not working for both Incoming and Outgoing calls. When someone calls me I can hear the ringtone but the ASUS calling screen doesn't appear. So unable to receive the call. Similarly for outgoing I can only hear the phone ringing and the voice from the other side but no calling screen. I tried with other calling screen available in play store but in vain except UCS. Please help

Got resolved. Downloaded the latest firmware from ASUS website and installed via sideload method using adb

1400Hz tone when recording calls with Android Pie - How to disable? [unanswered]

Hello fellow droiders,
February 2018 it was announced that Android Pie will add call recording tone support so calls could be recorded lawfully:
https://www.xda-developers.com/android-p-call-recording-tone-support-record-phone-calls-lawfully/
I can confirm that Google did this... I'm in UK and here you don't need consent to record calls, but because Vodafone is Germany based and there you need consent, they activated this tone feature for UK clients as well. Which means that every time I call someone and record a call, other party hears 1400Hz tone every 15 seconds, making call recording pretty much unusable.
Any ideas from fellow hackers how to turn this feature off?
The tone is a 1400Hz note that will play every fifteen seconds if the carrier enables it. It works by detecting the package name of a call recording app using the previously linked API. If any such package is detected, then the outgoing call will have the tone played to warn the other end that their call may be recorded. The tone will be automatically played depending on carrier configuration, which is determined by the SIM card.
Any chances to change a package name to something that wouldn't be recognized by this new feature?
Pixel 3, unlocked bootloader & rooted.
Thanks!
Anyone please?

S21 - WiFi calling -- when I make a call, they can hear me but I can't hear them

I'm on T-Mobile, and I have a T-Mobile supplied S21. My S21 is generally functioning very well.
One problem: If I'm on WiFi calling, and I make a call, the person on the other end can hear me perfectly, but I hear nothing. It's not a trivial issue like my volume is off or the sound is redirected to another device.
If that person calls me, even if I am on WiFi calling---no problem.
If I call out using Google Voice Dialer (WiFi calling, Google Voice number)---no problem.
I have WiFi calling (T-Mobile) enabled. VoLTE enabled.
