Lg Tribute 2 - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Has anyone tried these methods yet?
Unlock bootloader for LG Tribute 2: unlock-bootloadere.xyz/2015/11/lg-tribute-2-7442.html
CWM & TWRP (Also Includes Updating to MarshMallow 6.0)For LG Tribute 2: cwm-twrp-android.net/download/lg-tribute-2/
I couldn't get all the files to download. The filehost isn't the greatest. I came across these tutorials on my search for stock apk's to replace ones i deleted. (cause ota's to fail). If anyone see's anything for the Lg Tribute 2 please post!

The cwm and marshmellow update that's on the web is a fraud.

Dude I found it. A link to all you need to know about the advancements made so far about lg tribute 2 version LG LS665.
Rooting using king root, replacing king root with super su and even a partition bump. :thumbup:

Cannot connect to Network after Jellybean ROM flash

when i installed Jb custom Rom[/URL], i cannot connect to GSM Network , the phone demands to enter an "Network Password". i tried to restore to 4.0.3 but it give me the same problem, so i have reinstalled the Jelly bean rom. i checked the IMEI but i don't know if it is the old IMEI , i have had made a backup using EFS before installing the 4.03 ROM, you will find the EFS backup folder in the Attachement.
Any Help please.

two meyhod available in this site.
1- browse and find firmware in website.
2- use your imei to find your firmware.

There is no way to root kitkat 4.4.2 at the moment...only way is to go back to 4.2.2 and root than flash the recovery than flash the kitkat rom with the root....

help with root

i've tried to root my z2 on the .314 update but i don't think i have adb installed on my laptop, i connect the phone, go through the steps but when i go to command prompt to check adb it doesn't work and the install.bat doesn't run, please can someone help me?
Make sure you have installed adb drivers through flashtool.When you click on install.bat the command prompt will automatically run.Also make sure usb debugging is on in developer options

I've played with this Update since it came out!
Seriously it's alil better then what we were working w| but it's honestly a DISAPPOINTMENT & a slap n the face. That Samsung ripp'd half the sh!t outta here before they released the UPDATE.
There are a few things that will flash and will run on MM ROM not much but hey it better then KITKAT

If DATA not working, then hopefully. You made a backup of yer EFS , try flashing that b4 you move on n search of your 'fix' :good: it just may bring your DATA back

Going to assume because of Knox. Have you tried disabling Knox and trying it? Otherwise you will probably have to wait for a new rom/kernel to come out that has SELinux disabled. You could also try to freeze Knox and give the SELinux mode changer app a try.
