hi! just want to ask if you will also develop this rom for a300f? i'm very interested in trying this out.

I try ASAP and let you know how it goes for me !
Edit 1 : All right, a few things I noticed. First it boots, perfectly though.
- Text size/display size is really bigger than on stock rom, surely something about screen definition the rom estimates ? Anyway I feel like using a phone for very old people with HUGE text
- Impossible to activate WiFi. It says "activation in progress" but no luck. I tried to replace wlan.ko & pronto_wlan.ko with genuine ones from stock (workaround on mygalaxya rom allowing ril to work) to see if it's better, but then noticed that there's no such files in your rom (systeme/lib/modules and system/lib/modules/pronto usually)
- Preview bug in photo app (front & rear) but pictures are fine and well taken (workaround : use another photo app is fine)
- After doing not so much, the phone is hotter than ever before in months of using stock. Something burning... CPU related I assume ?
- SMS OK but MMS not sending (I didn't dig into APN and so... maybe nothing)
- calls OK
- Google Play does not connect (says to check connection which is working 4G speed everywhere else) / I could restore my apps via Titanium and use them with no trouble
@dcfied : you'll find a pretty working build for A300F right here. Don't own the terminal but feedback sounds good !

Going to try this in about an hour, one question: do I have do not install gapps ?

If you need to access Google Play Store, yeah you should.

Thanks for reports!
- Noticed the same thing with text size, set DPI to around 260 as a workaround
- Wifi is known to be broken, I'll see what i can do about it
- You mean, if you use the builtin camera app the screen is garbled but the pictures are OK?
- I dont know about phone getting hot.
- What GApps did you use?

Hey ! I don't know (or remember...) how to change DPI, could you guide me ? In dev prefs ?
I confirm, preview in photo app is buggy, like little vertical lines all along the screen, reacting to what should be on screen. Looks like a graphic render issue, like a broken graphic card on Mac (souvenirs...)
I used GoogleApps_LL_CM12.1-20151310.zip (yeah, 13 for the month... but downloaded on nov 10th) but if you have a Gapps link to recommand I'll flash it again from scratch.
Anyway, happy to help as I'm not a dev at all, so feel free if you need anything, hoping it will falls under my jurisdiction

You can change DPI in Settings -> Display & Lights.
So if you take a picture, is it full of vertical lines or is it normal?
Could you try OpenGapps to fix the Play Store? http://opengapps.org/

Ok, it's stable enough, wlan.ko should work about that problem, it went in deep sleep only one time, the battery is ok @mooon3, I didn't know if it crashes when building dalvik

- I changed DPI, much much better Maybe you can put it to default on your next builds ?
- For pictures it shows disturbed preview but the result of the taken picture is all right. I tried two alternative apps and preview & capture are fine. @mygalaxya rom has the same issue and workaround. Could not guess what causes this ! You can also change the resolution of the picture (I just put 6mp in 16:9) and it displays well...
- For Gapps, my bad, maybe a time for it to put it together, without intervention it now connects and updates apps as it should...
- @zDemoox : No issue while dalvik cache is building for me. Did you got some ?
- Also @zDemoox : I also wanted the wlan & pronto replacement to try to fix wifi... but didn't find any wlan.ko or pronto folder in system/lib/modules... ???
- And at last a very little bug (I don't know if you can call it like that) but sometimes the top panel (I don't have the english word but this menu you grab from the top of the screen) is a little buggy and difficul to grab. I need to grab it a few times, going from the very top to the very bottom for it to fall and display menu...
Edit 1 : I may have forgotten to thank you @evilracer123 'cause whatever bugs I'm reporting here as @zDemoox said, it's impressively smooth and stable for a very first release !
- Also another thing : as the vibrations of this phone are very strong, is there anyway to modulate the powerness of vibrating ? On stock rom there is something like that in sounds settings, I just put it half way... I didn't find anything like this on CM ?
Edit 2 : I got a few FCs for com.qualcomm.timeservice too

I use ES Explorer but I guess it's more a root matter than a file manager one... You have to access system files. Obviously while you're still on stock rom, as these files will be deleted when flashing CM. But again, I didn't find the same files on the CM version, the .ko are not there, so I wasn't able to replace anything... Surely it goes somewhere else under CM operating system... but I didn't investigate so far !
And yes, no MTP for me neither but Bluetooth (with mac at least) !

Just a quick update: I have got wifi working! Expect a new build soon!

I can't wait for stable!!!

Thanks for making this. Can't wait to try it out. I know how to install the custom rom and everything but I just wanted to see if anyone could answer something for me before I try to give it a go.
My handset is locked to my carrier (EE uk). When I was waiting for them to release the lollipop rom I looked into just flashing the BTU firmware onto my handset but I read somewhere that if you flash the unlocked firmware onto a locked handset it can cause issues with the modem or something like that.
The question that I have is that with the custom rom being designed to work for any handset regardless of carrier or region it is effectively an unlocked firmware so will I have the same issues when if I flash it over to my locked handset?
Hopefully someone can shed some light on this for me. I'm not worried if it won't unlock the handset for me as I'm quite happy with my current carrier, I just don't want the fact that I'm locked to a carrier to cause issues with the rom that I may end up reporting as bugs as I have no way of telling if they're being caused by my handset being locked or by the rom itself.
Thanks in advance

I'm sorry, but I have no experience on locked phones.
New build!
https://mega.nz/#!rRRQBADR!cuq-fQcX8sdhOE96ommLKsWs05vHIgQ9x7yd-1nBX7U
In this build, the wifi is fixed partially. To make it work, you must copy the module manually:
Install the rom
Enable ADB, Superuser and Advanced Reboot from Developer settings
Download the module: https://mega.nz/#!SAARXRyA!LQ6INnWKMZl35AaAZNmfMNzIhw95SsyTYCXyVcEJjbc
Transfer the wlan.ko file to /system/lib/modules folder, like so: (using your pc)
Code:
adb root
adb remount
adb push wlan.ko /system/lib/modules/wlan.ko
And lastly, you need to install the module. This has to be done on every reboot. (if anyone knows how to automate this I'm open for suggestions!)
Code:
(adb shell) insmod /system/lib/modules/wlan.ko
After this you should be able to enable Wifi. If not, long press power button and select Soft Reboot.
Sounds complicated, right? Actually it isn't

Ok no problem. If no one is able to tell me whether or not it's going to work with a locked handset then I'll just wait until I get it unlocked. I just don't want to install it and end up with bugs that I falsely report believing to be issues with the rom and then complicate matters for you. Thanks for developing this though.

Wow impressive work @evilracer123 ! I did not updated yet and as I don't have any PC for a while I won't be able to try the adb workaround you offer for wifi.
Nevertheless I found another little issue on your first build : when I'm in call, when I put the phone to my hear it shut down the screen but seems to not deactivate totally the touch detection as I open often some apps like calendar or mail... It seems to me that my hear touch the screen and affect what should appear on it regardless the screen display is off... Not sure but I always find myself in hazardous menu and apps when I finish my calls!
But it's really smooth and stable, I use it since this morning and don't want any minute to come back to stock ROM now!!! Thanks thousands times!

Eli,
I've been using the v8st for over 20 days now and have not come across such an issue.
But I have a different issue though:
The bluetooth mic levels when connected to the car's audio system renders very low voice that the person on the other end can't hear me so good.
Hope someone with a similar issue like yours' should be able to help you soon!

Hi
Even by doing as per Post# 4, Wallpaper gets replaced but does not work.
Going by wallpaper details found MD5 error.
Few more issues on my device, new to this ROM. Flashed 2 days back.
1. How to increase the FONT & ICON size in Status bar, Key board letters are too small, notifications are small.
2. Screen and around the camera gets heated, during this time battery drains super fast.
3. BBS is not working, error message "Battery service could not be contacted"
Please help me with the above issues.
Thanks in advance

You need to change the display density setting. Open the file /system/build.prop with a text editor and search for the line ro.sf.lcd_density=182. Change the value to something else. Bigger numbers give you bigger icons and fonts. The Default for SGS2 Roms is normally 240, Neatrom uses 182, that's why everything is smaller than on most roms. If you want to use 240, you can also flash this ZIP in Recovery: View attachment Density_240_v8.0st.zip. It's just a modified build.prop for 8.0st. There are also apps on the PlayStore that can change the density for you, but I never tried them.

Without more info it's impossibe to know what is draining your battery. You need to find out the app that gives you trouble with BBS or similar app.

In Android KitKat, user apps are not allowed to access battery stats. It's part of Androids security policy. There's two ways to fix it:
Get Xposed Installer and install the Xposed Framework. Then, download the module Enable BatteryStats Permission - voila! Since Xposed is simply awesome for other tasks as well, I recommend this method.
If for some reason you don't want to use Xposed (e.g. if you use ART), then you have to convert BBS to a system app. There's several ways to do so, like Titanium Backup or Link2SD... However make sure that BBS gets installed in /system/priv-app/, and not in /system/app/, or else it will still not get the necessary rights.
Hi is there a way to reboot into recovery except from the home + volume + wake and also which Version of Apolo is the right one 7.1 CM?
Battery life?
Hi guys, was checking this rom out and it looks awesome!
How's the battery life though?
I'm currently on Resurrection Remix and the battery life when I have wifi on is really poor.
I'm basically looking for a 4.4.4 rom that gives maximum battery life.
Also are there any kernel recommendations?
Thanks!
Weird battery behaviour
Hello Guys. I met a very strange issue.
After flashed the ROM, the battery indicator acts very weird.
When the phone is fully charged, and I remove the charger. after reached 85%, and when the battery is gong down, the indicator is going up from 85% to 90 %.
Anybody met this ? and how to resolve ?
I already calibrated the battery, but the problem still on.

I'm running this with Apolo V0 kernel and I'm satisfied (on original Samsung 2000 mAh battery):
~33% a day of normal usage
~1% an hour idle (data on, sync on, location on)
~0.3% an hour night mode (data off, sync off, phone online) - translates to ~14 days of runtime
Have tweaked wakelocks/services.

I had the same problem of battery drain because of mediascanner service running all the time and i didnt know the exact fix but i have read somewhere that formatting sd card would help fix this and it did, Anyway i didnt use much of my extSD so i removed it for now!! And no battery drain observed with mediascanner service
I can't get this to run on my phone. After carefully following the instructions my phone is stuck on the first boot screen with the yellow exclamation mark. Strangely it seems like I have TWRP installed which I can't get rid of. Even after installing the CWM linked to, the next time I manually enter recovery TWRP opens.
Update: Sucessfully installed a Cyanogen based ROM instead. Shame, I would have liked to try this one.
GAPPS not working?
Hi there, please help me. I can't get gapps to work/install. I first flashed beta version...nothing, then tried the stable version and only Chrome appeared in appdrawer. I still can't access play store (from the Nova Launcher menu option), the browser that came with the NeatRom doesn't start.
The rooting, flashing of the rROM etc all went well, according to the instructions, the only thing was that I couldn't format /preload as there was no such option in the CWM recovery. Could that be the problem maybe?
Please tell me, what am I missing here...

No, Preload is not used in AOPS Roms, only at Sammy ROMs.
maybe your download of GAPPS or ROM is corrupted, check the MD5 file to see if there is any thing wroing.
Clear Cache from Recovery
Try to reboot
Try to re-install.
Somtimes something goes wrong and then you have effects as you mentioned.

Sorry, but I gave up over AOSP and flashed the "stock" NeatRom 6.4 w/o any problems. Runs great!
Still, when I was searching for a solution, I found out, that it is possible that I didn't make a nandroid backup of /preload (when I was still on rooted stock samsung ROM - before flashing kitkat cwm and later AOSP NeatRom). I read that in the CWM recovery that comes with Siyah kernel - which I used to make a nandroid backup - you have to manually select to make a backup of the /preload part. in addition to all others... And i really didn't find a file with "preload" in the nandroid backup folder that I copied to my PC. If so, I am suppose to have trouble when/if going back to stock samsung ROM? If that is the case, maybe it would be good to update the guide for flashing the KitKat-based AOSP NeatRom. I don't really care right now, because I really like the stock NeatRom...I just hope it'll work...
NeatRom 8.0st and TWRP - no restore possible
Hi all,
hope, one of you will be able to support me ?
I'm not able to restore any of my TWRP backups done with TWRP 2.7.1.0 which came with the ROM.
All backups went well and were flagged as 'successfully'.
However, trying to restore one of them failes every time. It looks like after restoring SYSTEM and starting with DATA, it stucks.
One 'failed', no error code or any additional information.
I've a 32 GB SD installed on my i9100 and this is where I store all the TWRP backups.
Copying them to internal storage does not help.
Any ideas ?
Thx in advance,
BR,
This is a good room

[ROM][UNOFFICIAL][KitKat 4.4.4][SM-T530NU] CyanogenMod 11 [04/26/2015]

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.4 (KK), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
------------THIS IS AN UNOFFICIAL UNSUPPORTED BUILD-----------
This is my attempt at porting CyanogenMod 11 to the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1. I use a SM-T530NU, so that is the only device I have tested.
Any other device variations have not been tested and are at your own risk. I will not be able to support other variations as I don't own them for testing.
Special thanks to MetaIIica - I have been using his Alpha build of PAC-ROM KitKat since December. I studied the code for that, along with stock and some other ROMs before starting this port. This is my first time doing any work with Android, so I'm not sure if I'm technically doing things correctly or not.
I know CyanogenMod 12 is under development already, but I have decided to do a CM11 based build in hopes of a making a stable daily driver offering. I have fixed many of the issues present that were present in the PAC-ROM build. They can probably be backported to PAC-ROM easily if its built with my tree, but I prefer the plain CM-based offering myself.
You may get the source of my changes for this ROM on my github. If you'd like to help and submit a patch, feel free to open a pull request. You will of course be credited accordingly.
See below for instructions, what's working, and issues I fixed over the PAC-ROM Alpha.
For any bug reports or feature requests, please use the appropriate tabs at the top of the thread. Please include as much information as possible and if possible a logcat or other debug information in the case of bugs. Requests for supporting other device variations will not be honored - sorry,
Feedback and constructive criticism is always appreciated. I hope you enjoy using the ROM; if you use the ROM, please consider leaving a thanks, rating, and/or review

NOTE ON BUTTONS: This ROM is configured to use the hardware buttons-- so you won't see the software buttons taking up space at the bottom of the screen, as they are disabled. This is not a bug. Use the hardware buttons, as they are the same. If you really want the software buttons for some reason, edit /system/build.prop, change qemu.hw.mainkeys to 0, save, and reboot. If you map the menu button to a long press of another button, some apps such as TitaniumBackup will count this as a hardware key and hide their soft menu button - but only after a reboot.
NOTE ON CIFS/NFS: Many of the mounting utilities on the play store are outdated and broken due to changes in the linux kernel. For best luck, mount using the command line. For CIFS, you can tweak CIFSManager into working - see this thread

Congratulations ! :good:
Nice ROM, it installed fine on my T530 will test some more, thanks for the hard work
I got this installed but the back button and recents button didn't work at all. Its a fast rom though but it would be nice if it was a barebones CyanogenMod without the Pac Rom extras installed too.
Time for a new test, i'll test it in my t530 and report back the results.

It is a pure Cyanogenmod without the Pac extras. If you're seeing them, make sure you did a full wipe before flashing as noted in the original post - you may have remnants of PAC-ROM in /system. The best way is to use PhilZ option to "Clean to Install a new ROM" as that wipes everything correctly. That could also be causing your issues with the back button as well. I completely rebuilt the device tree for this rom over the pac build, as that was based on MSM8974 when this is an MSM8226 device. If a full wipe wasn't done, you have stuff for the other device tree in /system that will mess things up. If the issue persists after a full wipe, please let me know what varient of 530 you're using, and pastebin a logcat of what happens when you press the back or recent events buttons.

I always completely wipe everything before installing a new rom. Never wiping the tablet before installing a new rom might cause problems. I no longer have the rom installed. I will install it again and see if it was just a flike that it didnt work properly the last time. I also have Philz recovery installed because its the only one that has full brightness on the screen.
Simply great. Everything i need works great. Finally a kitkat aosp rom that given me everything i need. Flashed in TWRP on a t530 (wifi only) and running perfectly fine. Good job mate. If you want me to test anything on t530 just tell me.
Btw, otg works, so my usb keyboard is working.
Otg works, YouTube and twitch.tv works, BT works, rotation works, camera works, xposed works, everything i have tested works

Thanks! Glad to hear that it is working well for you. I believe the only difference between the SM-T530 and the SM-T530NU is the the NU has an IR blaster, which I haven't actually enabled yet. I need to figure out how to test that because I never use it. After i do that and post a build with IR, it will be useful if you check and make sure it doesn't break the regular 530. Those two from what I can tell are vary similar, its more of any celluar varients that I would be worried about, because this is build for wifi only..
Let me know if you find anything broken
I got this to work properly. I have one question though. Is there a way to get youtube working without having all the other GAPPS rubbish installed. I noticed that the tablet got slower as soon as I installed GAPPS. The tablet flies along without GAPPS installed and I only want youtube working without all that other rubbish bogging down the tablet.

To be honest, I'm not sure - you could try copying the Youtube APK off of the device and then side-loading it on a fresh install without installing all of GAPPs, but I'm not sure if that will just prompt you to install all of them or not if you do that.
Are there particular use cases you are noticing are slower? I did not really notice any difference with or without GAPPs, other than the initial boot time as they were unpacked and installed. If there are particular situations that cause this, then we could dump some logs to see if there is something that could or needs to be optimized.

I have youtube backed up with all my other apps with Titanium Backup and when I try running youtube without GAPPS it fails and a popup states Youtube has failed to start (or something similar) and if I install the GAPPS I have which is older than the version that is needed it tells me that google needs to be updated. So then I update that and tried freezing the google apps I dont want or use but youtube fails.

The whole tablet is slightly slower with GAPPS installed. I've opened a gapps zip with WINRAR and removed some of what I dont want and only left whats needed for play store to run so it improved a bit.
Hi,
I didn't try it for now...
But thanks for the good work!!
For the Gapps, have you try PAGapps?
It has different package with a lot of options.
The smallest one should be around 136Mo. You can also remove some apk with a config file.
All other apps are available on Play Store...

I used an aroma based gapps. You can install only what you need. About using YouTube without gapps, i dont know if tubemate could do the trick. Use aptoide to install it if you dont like play store. Here is the link for the aroma gapps: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2547250

It has something to do with the lighting detection or some other initial initialization that I haven't figured out yet, but as a workaround if you toggle between camcorder mode and back it'll brighten up.

Tested and working fine. Is a nice workaround. I dont mind about this bug as I only use front camera for Skype and such things, but im glad this workaround is pretty easy and fast

Hi Everyone,
I updated the original post with a new build. This build should fix the lighting issues with the rear camera the first time it is used. After I debugged the mode switching with logcat I was able to find out what the issue was. I also am working on reducing dependencies on vendor libs where possible by getting more of the modules that can be built from source building from source.
I've started exploring IR blaster support for NU users and I am continuing to look for a solution for bluetooth audio, but I don't have either yet. Stay tuned for future updates
If you already installed the ROM most times you should be able to flash over it, but if you see anything weird after, try wiping to confirm if its a bug or weirdness after upgrading (you can always nandroid before wiping if you're unsure and roll back if its not related to upgrading).
Please let me know if you find any issues. Include model number and if possible a logcat as well.
Enjoy!
Congrats starlightknight!
Anyone tried this on the SM-T530?

Nice to see you cover this development as well. Maybe it is possible to join forces with Valera1978 ? I will try this build as well of course and report on issues. Hopefully it is not too much of a problem to run it on a T580 (without SIM).
@Valera1978. Your ROM performs very well (it is fast too !).
As expected, it runs well on a SM-T580 as well, you can just skip the SIM part in set-up with no problem at all.
Of course it is still work in progress, so bugs to be expected. However I concluded that sound is working properly ,which is fantastic.
In your opening post you said GPS is not working, but I think it is working (Navmii and Google maps anyway).
I did not find many problems, but I can report some:
- It is a bit strange that in setup you are being asked to put back a backup from the cloud while you have not been able (yet) to set up your internet connection). However this provlem can be circumvented easily by just answering that you want to set-up as a new device. In the next screen you set-up your internet connection and then you go can go back and choose to restore from backup (which works flawlessly);
- External SD card cannot be formatted as "internal storage", which is a pity, because I use a brand new 128 Gb SD card (this works in the stock ROM, so I think it is some kind of a bug);
- On an SM-t580 there is of course no SIM. In the lock screen I now see "no service". On a post to Tank0412 Oves786 suggests to remove an APK, but I wouldn't know which one it is (otherwise I would try, although I realize that other things should be removed as well, like the dialer program). The functioning of the tablet is not impaired in any way by this (as far as I can see);
- Gboard (an app from Google) apparently is not functioning properly: swiping does not work at all, although it is supposed to do so. In the standard AOSP keyboard however swiping is no problem.
I'm waiting for the Bluetooth to work in order to flash this Rom!!

I also have the T580. But this is my wife's tablet, and I can not take it up for a week for develop. But as soon as there is a stable version for the T585, I'll take it for a short time (1-2 days) and fix it too.

"In your opening post you said GPS is not working" - on T580 - this is another key in kernel. On T585 - i'm working with it. Yesterday I had find reason - if I'm manually (via adb) running modem - I see baseband, imei, and gps starting work too. At least now I known - problem in ramdisk, vendor and device config is correct for ril.
"back a backup from the cloud" - this is gapps bug, as I remember wizard ask about backup before you enter your google account.
"External SD card" - strange, will check, T580-585 should be same logic.
"On an SM-T580 there is of course no SIM" - not enough remove apps, need build firmware without telephony. Because settings also included changes in framework.
"Gboard (an app from Google) apparently " - will check, but later, primary problems is first.

I'll check after ril, but I'm on 90% sure - it's the same problem.
Thank you for this, for an Alpha its very good. Its installed now on my T580 . The kernel is Permissive and can't be switched to Enforcing, is this something we could have in a future release, a kernel with the ability to change?
Amazing work, congratulations for bringing this to us, its a game changer for the T585/580. When I look at my Ti Back-up for any missing apps and see all that Samsung bloat-ware and Knox related stuff...well how good to see them gone

Format SD card as Internal memory
@Valera1978. Maybe just nonsense what I discovered but maybe it is not, so I think I should share this.
I discovered Samsung S7/S7 edge suffer from the same problem that it is not possible to format their SD card as internal (which however is possible in the original Samsung sofware for the SM-T580/ 585 as I mentioned earlier).
So I thought it would be a nice experiment to try the solution I found in:
http://www.modaco.com/news/android/...e-adoptable-storage-on-your-s7-s7-edge-r1632/
After having read that, what I did was no more then simply issuing the commands:
adb shell
sm list-disks
This returned:
"CANNOT LINK EXECUTABLE "app_process": "/sbin/libcutils.so" is 64-bit instead of 32-bit
Aborted"
I now suspect - without really knowing why or how - that maybe a 64 bit module (or maybe the reverse: some 32 bit module) is interfering some way with the formatting of the disk as internal.
This is not the biggest of problems of course, this build already performs really nice and smooth anyway. However of course I do hope it proves to be is a lead to the solution.

Magisk
Before run Magisk installer in TWRP - you need run small script - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ZnnKHtDAl0ioHjQXiNO6wErZN8odsO0P/view?usp=sharing
It's simply unmount /cache partition and then mount it as /vendor. After run the script, you can install Magisk. If Magisk Manager does not appear in the list of apps - extract magisk.apk from Magisk installer and manually install it.

Thanks
Thanks to Samsung
good morning Valera! I've been waiting for this a lot, since Samsung Pie is very good rom, I've already downloaded and flashed it. I just had time to try the basics and everything seems to work and the Ui is nice. Then I will make a good revision. Thank you very much for your great works!
@Valera1978 First of all, thanks for the great Pie port. Tab feels brand new, smooth. One thing I have found is the Themes/Wallpapers don't work. It will download wallpapers but when you go to apply, all you see is a black square, and nothing is applied. If it is an animated one for lock screen, it fc's the systemui when you try. Not a big deal as I can always apply wallpapers from my own collection. This is only issue so far and I have a feeling there won't be many more if any. Thanks for your works!!!
great job from shortcomings is at present a problem with the keyboard
I like this rom, it seems clean and pretty and I would like to be able to install magisk but I do not understand how to do it, could you explain it ?. Thank you
Bootloop
I tried this on my T580 coming from RR latest Pie ROM. Backed up ROM, factory reset wipe and installed just the wifi port. Wiped dalvic and rebooted. Bootloops at first Samsung screen. What did I do wrong?
edit: Never mind. Used Advanced Wipe for everything but Internal and SD. Booting now.
Great rom. Thanks for your effort.
Looks good thank you.
Are there other people who get a failed when they try to sign in the Samsung account?
In the pie_t510_t580_port there are the follwing settings that don't work or crashes, or don't belong in the wifi version and if it's possible should be removed.
T-roaming
Service provider
Mobile networks
Also in the About tablet there is some LTE version information
There is also the mobile hotspot settign in the connections
Cellphone signal icon in the at the top next to the wifi signal
These are for when you have the LTE version
Great work man!!! Thanks for your work!!

When I try to download other languages I get the message download failed. Probably a bug.
I hope you can port this rom for P585Y. Thank you

I imagine that if you were to give the dev a P585, he might have a reason to port and a device to test it on. Otherwise, he has neither. I've seen this request many times, where someone with a different device, asks a dev to support theirs, and it never succeeds.
My personal hotspot isn't working after my first reboot... though I've uninstalled every 3rd party app.
Edit: It comes after installing Magisk.
EDIT 2: I've tried to reboot without installing any apps twice, and the problem appears, I only need hotspot for hosting an offline game with friends, like Bombsquad.

Sort of...
This ROM needs more focus though, it's faster than the stock Oreo, but has weird bugs...
To solve that keyboard bug switch to the phone interface through build.prop editor,
Edit the line: ro.build.characteristics=tablet to phone instead of tablet.
Then add the languages you want then revert back the changes after finishing.
About that hotspot bug, I don't know, but can't we just use the stock kernel and wifi instead? What's the use of the new one?
About the Secure Folder, there's a way to set it up by modifying the kernel, and we never had it on our own device, we only got it on S7.
But there's a small question... do we have a chance to get a Samsung 64-bit ROM on our device? Because the Play Store will shut down on 32-bit devices in August 2021, though this device is 64-bit.
Is it really much faster than stock 8.1? None of the roms I've tried so far have been, the ui lags and battery takes a hit I assume as it's running harder to keep up

That's because it's overclocked, and it generally feels way smoother like the stock Nougat ROM, there are some annoying bugs though, some camera apps can't access the camera, and the Hotspot doesn't work after installing some apps and rebooting, looks like it's not Magisk to blame, that doesn't happen in the stock though.
So I'm waiting until the OP replies or gives us an update hopefully.
I've tried the hotspot in the A600N port and it works properly! Why not here in this port? I think due to the presence of numerous Korean carrier options and maybe the Wi-Fi Sharing, when it's enabled, the hotspot doesn't work, even if disabled and rebooted. So you should remove these options, I guess?
I use SwiftKey beta as a side keyboard, testing the puppets, they are working in the stock ROM, but in both Pie ports, though I've allowed camera permission, the app can't load puppets, and that is not just present in SwiftKey, it is present also in some apps, it may be a missing Pie support, hopefully.
And thankfully, there are no camera modes, just front and back camera,
When I switch modes in this port, it force closes immediately,
and the Photo editor works properly in the A600N port, but not in this port, when I switch the filter it gives me a black screen instead
The only thing that annoys me is that the tablet interface of the A600N is not as great as this port, landscape mode is better here, because this port has tablet framework.
So, I wish this port gets more attention than it deserves, thank you Valera1978 for your great contributions! Hope you focus on this port, well more than you do with LineageOS!
Work on P580 ??

Uh nice - thanks Valera! Any chance you can add your manifest? I would like to try building Android once myself.
Error flashed on screen on reboot
I am getting 'There's an internal problem with your device. Contact your manufacturer for detail.' error on every reboot. I've flashed the 'BL_T825XXU3CSH9_CL16530048_QB25611745_REV00_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5' bootloader but still facing the issue.
See the screenshot for error message.

Do custom ROMs have to have palm rejection added? It's not normal feature?
This would be good to know as I got this device to use the pen!
I notice that screen is very hard to wake up. I have to play all buttons in random combination to be able to bring up lock screen. Once it get unlocked, everything works find.
I did once get system UI locked error. I have to push all buttons to force it reboot.
So I tested this rom on my T820 Wifi and in my opinion it works pretty stable, except of some issues I recognised:
- Saving pictures does not work. The pictures I get are scrambled.
- sd cards in ntfs format not working
- Palm rejection is not working
- ed xposed causes boot into download mode
- screen wakup is sometimes slow
- Viper4Android is not working
- Speaker only working on one site (right)
- it's not possible to rename SD Card or uninstall any system app like mail-app via root
- Netflix is not working
- Not possible to activate a custom notification sound
- Adaway only working with systemless host activated in magisk
- trying to use miracast causes a complete crash of system ui and makes a reboot necessary
- digital wellbeing randomly fc if settings menu is open
- sometimes hardware buttons stuck and i have to wait 5 sec until I can use them again
Thanks for your work!
*update: On second build same issues and camera just force close, now
did anyone figure out how to get the camera to work. It takes pictures but to view them they all look scribble.

Not working on second build for me
Now for the *REAL* question, does this ROM cause graphical glitches when you run a 3D load and heat the processor up to 100c?! That was my experience various unofficial LOS16/RR based Pie builds. I get temps in the worst case up to 97c under extreme load on the stock OneUI ROM, but normally it is way LOWER. Could someone (with the performance level in the power settings set to max) test games like https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.PnA.Offroad and some heavier ones for an extended period of time, and maybe some benchmarks (AnTuTu, 3DMark, etc...) while watching the CPU temp and General SoC temp with a temp guage overlay (like the one in the paid option on DevCheck).

Is there any chance, that you compile Havoc OS 3.0 for our Device?
Thanks in advance

Don't expect that anything on this rom will fixed soon.
Always the same with this dev. He releases a build with issues, then he ignores all issue reports and only releases sometimes a new build with security updates and nothing more. I wish a had wait a little bit and bought a tab s5e, because it seems to be the only new Samsung tab with fully working custom roms and palm rejection.
Better you use stock rom for tab s3.

There is something that I cannot understand. The users say that there are problems with the ROM but OP says there aren't...

Not sure if answered but I fixed this by:
Copying the complete line ro.vendor.build.fingerprint.................. from the /system/build.prop file.
Paste replacing the line ro.vendor.build.fingerprint.................. in the /vendor/build.prop file.
These files crosscheck each other looking for this line. The files must be from different builds.
