It seems there is no one encountering the same problem as me.

Well I didn't even know that this could possibly happen. Man you're unlucky :|

I am shocked when it happened.

sorry about your phone.. but that flap cover can be easily replaced... Remember seeing a video of it. so try searching for the part in ebay

Brother, you need a hole new top PCB (top board). I have attached a photo for your reference. I have taken apart many HDs and believe me, this is the only fix. Here is only one place to buy a new one and the price is reasonable:
https://www.gsm4world.us/htc-hd-t8282-oem-flex-cable-camera-slot-phone-jack-d-03161_447.html
But, be careful. You must salvage both cameras - Big one and little one. Big one snaps out like the PCB board and the little one has to peel back the black plastic cover and then dug out with a pin from the corners. Also, NOTE: the little one only goes in one way. There is a small white mark on the bottom edge and the camera must go back the same why.
But I can´t see the black plastic things Im after on the PCB on the gsm4world link.

Trust me, they are there.

Grrrrr.. My screen looks like the oil spill in the gulf of Mexico....

Today all of a sudden I got this (see image) on my HD2.
The "mar" looks the same when the phone is on or off..
Anyone here who might know what could have caused this, and how to fix it?
Please note that the HD2 was inside a plastic box (in the car), and that the screen itself does not show any crack's, scratches, dents and/or holes.

Have you replaced the glass on your screen? I've did and I got exactly the same patch that appeared over time.

No.. This is an untouched HD2.
its the layers of the screen/digitizer/glass sticking together. SOme people have reported success by using a suction cup to gently pull on the glass.
Thank you for the info. I'm going to give the suction cup a go.
I still have no clue what caused this..

gel case !

hi guys .
recently i found this website which is selling the gel case for our phone !
http://www.activ8uk.com/cat/LG_GEL_CASES.html
I have buyed one and hit work so well.
Only 1 defect: it stand up my film screen protector in the borders.
It's a somewhat nice fit, but it's pressing down the volume up button on my phone so it's always at max. Bought three cases and the same thing with everyone of them. Will probably need to make a hole at the volume button.

Anyone use these cases? What you think? I just ordered the silver.

I don't have one but have looked at it many times on ebay.
Makes me wonder if the back panel is gonna pop off if you drop the device and then the phone goes flying and the glass cracks in to thousand pieces?? ...the back panel is being put in place by some kind of snap on feature. I would Like to see screw assembly instead.

I have one that says Yoo Don on the packaging but it looks the same. I put it on and took it right back off because it is impossible to open charging flap with fingernail, might be able to with a knife tip or something. The back does indeed snap into place and seems pretty secure but wouldn't expect it to add any protection if phone was dropped.
Thanks for the feedback guys. I will let you know what I think when mine comes in a couple of weeks.

EDIT: Seems like im not the only one.. There is a Reddit post aswell about this, just one though:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Nexus9/comments/2rr14a/dark_marks_on_the_back_of_the_black_nexus_9/
Having the same issues here...
Any solutions?
Your case is rubbing against the tablet's back and rubbing out bald spots. The back cover is an ABS plastic frame spray-coated with a very thin layer of silicone rubber. Any friction applied to that rubber layer will result in bald spots, as it's a very non-durable material. Nothing you can do about it except stop using that case.
The n9 back is so sensible, mine is ruined by a rotating case that I bought to protect it ?
