For me it worked without root. When you try it, it pops up a window with message what command you have to write using ADB connecting to computer.

This is what you mean? It only the word completion when you type.
Yeah, that is what i meant. I fount it in an earlier post, but is doesn't work. I looked at the reg-key, and it was what it is supposed to be.
Still, the suggested words are in English...

That is strange, I've installed it after every re-flsh (and there were a few dozen lately) and everytime it does its job. You have to restart after install, that's all.

when i go to terminal and enter su it says error and when i use Screenshot app it says "this app is only for rooted phones" or something like that... it doesnt even ask super user app for root access like the previous version of root..
i dont think my phone got rooted. what should i do from here
any help would be appreciated thanks.

Just repeat the step 3 again .. If this dosnt work then repeat the whole procedure again .. simple as that ..

you can use many apps which need root access. Just search google for that.
But for testing whether you have root access or not, just download an app called titanium backup form the market. When you open the app, it says "root: OK" .. if not, it says "root access denied" or something like that. Hope this helps

I really have no Idea about that dude !! coz I bought an unlocked x10 paying the full price ..
But I guess you can remove the branding by the debranding tutorial which was posted in the forums long back.

If you follow this rooting procedure you will end up with generic (debranded) UK R2BA020 ROM on your phone

I’ve just rebrand my x10 to 2.1 with the one click method, very easy!
But i like to know if it’s possible to re-debrand to my Dutch provider if the update is out over there.
Now i checked if universal androot still works and it doesn’t. Is there another app to root your phone in an easy way?
Also I can’t find the file default.prop to change the code back. There is now like you probably know just a file in the folder build.prop, is this the same?

I think that not only I had problem with PS Store.
Sony Tablet S - Playstation Certified device.
Ohhh games.. niiiiice.. Hmm.. where are the games?
In my country/region - unfortunately PS Store
is just not available. I searched for it in Market/Sony,
without luck.
There is an easy solution to get it working
How to enable PS Store:
ROOT is required.
Download newest PS Store App and install it.
Download 'Market Enabler'.
Run 'Market Enabler' and click and hold US T-Mobile - choose to fake other region, accept SU.
Run installed 'PS Store' - it will notify about update - will open market
with 'Account Manager' app - install it (normally its not available = now we can do this).
Create PS Store account with UK as country.
Done!
After installation there is no need to fake other region with 'Market Enabler'
any more. But it could help in future - if some updates will appear.

Hello Condi, Can you please tell me how to unlock my tab which is locked to docomo? Its asking for a code. And I didnt see any Site that offers unlocking for this tab.
Maybe if I fake my region like above with the prop and re flash software? but since bootloader is locked anyway that I can do this?

We could try to change your region, but apparently it will not affect your simlock. But its still good to try.

guys, moto xt303 is the same as xt305. no ways to unlock at the moment. xt303/305 has no bootloader mode, just restore mode, right? using adb commands i can only read the cellphone, no permission to write.
