Android 6.0.1 ( CM13) Development Question - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi! I'm new to android development and was wondering if someone could answer my bleeding question. Let's say the most recent cyanogenmod for my device is cm 12.1 and I wanted to start work on cm13. The most recent branch in github for my device ( htc one x+ enrc2b) is 12.1. How do make the device tree for cm 12.1 compatible with cm 13? Again I'm new to this and am willing to learn
Thank You

[HELP]I need help to build cyanogenmod or AOKP rom (android 4.1) for Alcatel OT-4030A

I need help to build cyanogenmod or AOKP rom (android 4.1) for a device that is not yet supported by anyone (I have not found threads on forums about some rom for this device, nor found something of this model on github). That's why I would like to try to build a custom rom for this device, so also learn a little more about android (I have basic knowledge).
I have alcatel sources in this link: http://sourceforge.net/projects/alcatel/files/
I read that first I have to create the device tree to begin building the rom in ubuntu. Could anyone guide me on how to use the sources (android 4.1) alcatel to create the device tree well or that could be the procedure to start with this?
In advance thank you very much.
PS: Any help is welcome, I hope some experienced developer can help me xD

cyanogenmod ends cm10.1 cm10.2??

Good excuse my language I use and translator.
I have some doubts, I read that cyanogenmod to complete the development of versions cm10.1 cm10.2 to devote only to version cm11.
My question is ... legacyxperia will put his last final version for devices and cm10.2 cm10.1 2011?
Officially ended means CyanogenMod team no longer focus on jellybean no adding of extra features and new idea's features will be added in latest cm11 , those who unofficially building cm builds can request CyanogenMod to add features I.e back porting features .. Unofficial versions can be built at anytime using CyanogenMod repo so we can expect 10.1 &10.2 updates from Mike..

@archibald_schlick builds from time to time unofficial 12.1
to quote him: "I'm not the developer, I only compile this ROM based on the official Cyanogenmod 12.1 (nightly) repository for my own use and want it to share with you." http://forum.xda-developers.com/mot...-cm12-0-moto-e-2015-lte-t3081873/post67320152

Building a Nougat AOSP ROM or CyanogenMod 14.1 ROM for an unsupported phone

Recently I've been interested in creating a stock Nougat ROM or CyanogenMod 14.1 ROM for my Samsung Galaxy Alpha (SM-G850F). I've been reading and watching a lot of tutorials on how to go on about doing this but the example phones which they use have supported official CM builds unlike my SM-G850F. I was going to follow this tutorial but stopped at getting the proprietary blobs when mentioned that his phone is supported in the official CM directories. I then went surfing the net to see if I could extract the proprietary blobs from a ZIP which ended me up at this website which says yes, I can. However, my question is if I can use an unofficial build such as [5.1.x][SM-G850F] CyanogenMod 12.1 UNOFFICIAL for the Galaxy Alpha (slte) (final) to get the proprietary blobs for CM14.1? Despite that ROM being built for CM12.1. Another question is if building a stock AOSP ROM is easier than building a CM ROM and where to go to get the proprietary files for AOSP rom building. Thanks guys!
