Zidoo has released the Zidoo X5, it's newest TV box. The X5 packs the quadcore chipset Amlogic S905 which accompanies the penta-core ARM Mali-450 GPU. It has 1GB of RAM and 8GBs of internal storage, so if you want to store your entire movie database you'll have to connect an external HDD in order to do so.
As for the design, IMHO the Zidoo made a step forward when it comes to the X5, in comparison with the other zidoo tv boxes. (see the Zidoo X6 PRO)

The price of Zidoo X5 seems good, both Geekbuying and iandroidtvbox cost $59, but the latter doesn't provide discount yet.
Yes, if you consider that it can play 4K videos and it has the latest Android version, it seems like a value for money option.

I know this post is old now but I cannot stress this enough. DO NOT under any circumstance buy from AliExpress. I tried, still in the process, of trying to get AliExpress to refund me from buying the z7 mini from that site. I tired six times to cancel the order, but on there in order to cancel the seller has to confirm or deny it. Each time the seller denied it. So NEVER buy from them.
