Hi, trying to root the SM-G531BT Samsung Grand Prime Duos Brazilian model with Lolipop LMY48B.G531BTVJU0AOK1.
Using Odin 3.10.6 from CF-Auto-Root-grandprimeve3gdtv-grandprimeve3gdtvvj-smg531bt.zip file.
- FRP is OFF
- USB Debugging enabled
- Unknow Sources enabled
Already tried twice and root is getting fail.

Estou há dias executando todas as alternativas para conseguir o root com o CF-Auto Root recém liberado para o g531bt através do Odin, observei todas a configurações recomendadas mas sempre dá erro. Para restaurar não é preciso utilizar o Kies, pelo próprio Odin basta piscar a rom original (que sugiro que seja baixada no site da Sammobile) e que será um processo bem mais rápido, além de não perder nenhum dado ou configuração. Tbm deixei o FAP/FRP off, num preciosismo tentei liberar o bootloader pelo sdk, entretanto não obtive sucesso.
Aguardo os experts do XDA estudarem esse problema.

eu tenho o mesmo aparelho, consegui root apenas fazendo flash pelo odin com um firmware pre rooteado, mas do g531h, a unica desvantagem é que perde-se a tv digital (o g531h é o mesmo aparelho na versão sem tv), fora isso nenhum bug. se quiser posso compartilhar o firmware.

Performed the procedure successfully root this device for two weeks and worked perfectly, however one day out of nowhere he corrupted, it seems to me, the partitions are damaged, as the attached image here but the ODIN way it is working. I've tried to redo the process with ODIN but was unable to due to lack of specific PIT file that cell. Eu tenho um Samsung Galaxy SIII mini , Um chip, 8GB, com a SSn i8190lgsmh. Realizei o processo de root desse aparelho com sucesso e durante duas semanas funcionou perfeitamente, porem um dia do nada ele corrompeu, ao que me parece, o seu sistema de arquivos conforme a imagem em anexo aqui mas o modo ODIN dele esta funcionando. Já tentei refazer a processo com o ODIN mas não consegui devido a falta do arquivo piT especifico desse celular. Tentei usar as variante I8190, I8190N, I8190_Goldxx sem sucesso também, sempre recebo a seguinte mensagem de erro do ODIN : "There is no PIT partition.." Pesquisando na internet encontrei um tutorial que ensina a extrair o arquivo piT dos celulares, que esta neste link aqui http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=52329647&postcount=2 . Gostaria da ajuda de alguém que tenha o mesmo modelo de celular fornecesse extrai-se o piT do seu smartphone e fizesse o upload dele para eu poder recuperar o meu.

Brother, desmarca o opção "Re-partition", assegure-se de ter somente as opções "Auto Reboot" e "f. Reset time" marcados. O TWRP deve ser carregado na opção "PDA" ou "AP" dependendo da versão do ODIN que você utilizar.

tenho um aparelho com o mesmo problema
buenas noches, estuve hace unos dias modificando con un editor exadecimal el archivo completo de la carpeta EFS, reinicie mi dispositivo y no pasa de el logo inicial de samsung.
decidí entrar al modo recovery y al ver que no arrancaba el sistema operativo opte por borrar todo del celular para instalar uno nuevo pero por modo recovery el computador detecta la memoria pero no permite reescribir o borrar nada (la memoria esta vacía)
he estado todos estos días averiguando sobre el tema y casos similares y supe que la falla es por la memoria interna sin formato valido para que se pueda instalar el sistema operativo así que decidí aplicar el archivo .PIT por ODIN para poder reformatear la memoria interna del celular ya que al parecer las particiones se han dañado o no se dejan modificar para instalar rom por odin o cualquier medio:

y después de esto no sigue con ningún proceso y no tengo de otra que desconectar el celular de la pc.
el archivo .PIT lo descargue de sammobile y su referencia del sistema operativo de donde lo obtuve es G850F_XXU2BOA2_DBT2BOB1.
el archivo .PIT esta nombrado como SLTE_EUR_OPEN_HIDDEN50M.pit
estoy seguro que son las particiones de la memoria interna del celular y no se si alguien pueda ayudarme ya que he intentado de todo y nada he logrado conseguir....

luego de buscar por todas partes y ya resignado en no poder solucionar la falla del celular encontre la solucion al problema.
como la particion EFS estaba dañada y despues de intentar con el archivo .PIT para arreglar las particiones y no tener un resultad positivo me puse a investigar sobre como arreglar solo la carpeta EFS y encontre los pasos con CMD de windows.
las gracias al sr Jóse Maria Schenone quien tiene publicado el paso a paso para poder arreglar el brick que se genera por daño en la carpeta efs dañada.

pasos a seguir cuando tu celular no pasa del logo de samsung y ni con odin puedes repararlo y en el modo recovery te aparece que el sistema no encuentra la carpeta EFS.
Particion EFS corrupta. El equipo solo carga el logo de Samsung
Si estas en esta situacion, ante todo debes conservar la calma ya que es posible repararlo.
Asumiendo que tienes instalado un Custom Recovery en tu equipo, deberas instalar la última versión del AndroidSDK en el directorio raíz de la PC (C:\), los drivers de Samsung instalados correctamente en tu computadora y que el equipo está rooteado:
Conectamos el equipo a la PC via USB.
Reiniciamos en modo recovery.
Mount /storage.
Mount /system.
En la PC [win] + r (o click en Inicio y luego en Ejecutar).
cmd (para abrir el comand prompt)
En el command prompt escribimos:
cd c:\androidsdk\sdk\platform-tools
adb shell
su
mke2fs /dev/block/mmcblk0p3 (si da error, pasar al siguiente paso)
mount -w -t ext4 /dev/block/mmcblk0p3 /efs
reboot
Con estos simples pasos hemos creado en el equipo una carpeta efs genérica.
Ahora cuando nuestro equipo inicie, aparecerá en la pantalla el famoso texto amarillo (Factory mode)
Cierro el tema y espero les ayude mucho... a mi me funciono.

Tenho um aparelho Galaxy note 2, instalei via odin o TWRP e depois instalei um ROM customizada, baixei um rom pela internet salvei no pendrive e depois instalei pelo TWRP. A ROM funcionou normalmente por 1 dia e depois simplesmente o sistema não iniciou mais, fica na tela do Galaxy note 2 e não carrega o android, ao tentar instalar a imagem não encontra o cartão de memória aparece 0Mb, ao tentar wipe aparece:
Factory Reset Complete
Failed to mount '/cache' (invalid argument)
Unable to mount /data/media/TWRP/.twrps
Já tentei recuperar via Odin com a rom original mas sempre dá Failed, já tentar a montagem do cartão pelo TWRP mudando para FAT e EXT, já tentei baixar o samsung Kies, modo download.
