IntroductionHello, I wanted to make a program android related so I decided to make a toolkit! This is not just like any toolkit though. This toolkit comes with its own custom commands (mostly simplified ADB commands) and it also comes with options to unlock the bootloader and more!
This may be a little buggy, I am not responsible for anything that happens to your device.
Custom Commands:
Code:
toggle display - Turns the display on or off (sleep)
reboot - Reboot the device
wipe data - Factory reset (must be in bootloader and unlocked)
wipe cache - Wipes cache (must be in bootloader and unlocked)
clr - Clears the 'console'
exit - Exits the entire toolkit
wipe data-cache - Wipes both data and cache (must be in bootloader and unlocked)
goto bootloader - Reboot the device into the bootloader
unlock - Unlocks the bootloader which is required for wipe data and cache and other things.
leave bootloader - Exits the bootloader
bootloader status - Gives information on the bootloader and tells you if it's locked or unlocked
start adb - ADB start-server
kill adb - Kills any running instance of ADB
kill fastboot - Kills any running instance of fastboot
goto recovery - Reboots the device into recovery
lock bootloader - Locks the bootloader
Features in the UI:
Reboot bootloader
Unlock bootloader
Reboot
Check bootloader status
Exit bootloader
Run a custom command
Show connected ADB devices
Show connected fastboot devices
Kill all running instances of ADB/fastboot
Close program properly (kills running instances then closes program)
Color changer.
Flash TWRP option.
Device rooter.
APK installer.
HTC TAB.
Changelog: v4.0.2 1/18/16
Fixed bootloader unlock
Added 'flash TWRP' in the UI
Created an owner's edition (only for me) and a consumers edition (what I release) there is no difference except stability.
Improved stability
Added music (pick up to 3 songs you can play in the background)
Easteregg added.
v4.1 1/20/16
Added menu strip instead of buttons to change music and run custom commands.
Added help and information on how to set up drivers.
v6.0.2.1 6/27/16
Removed the menu strip.
Material Design Re-design (MaterialSkin).
Re-designed layout.
Support for almost all Nexus devices for root/flash TWRP feature.
Rooter/TWRP flash improved.
The program will download the selected img file for the proper device in the rooter/twrp flasher. This reduces file size.
Reduced toolkit size (5 MB).
HTC TAB (WIP).
Color changer tab.
Removed easteregg (bloat).
Cleaned up unused things.
Removed music (bloat).
Added APK installer.
Removed the "close program properly" button. (It was useless).
Renamed some buttons.
Stability improvements.

Quick additional information: I do not own TeamWin at all, all credit for the recovery goes to them. I do not take any credit for TWRP at all. Also, all credit to IgnaceMaes for MaterialSkin.
This is my first project, sorry if I disappoint you with quality/mistakes.

Updating this to add the ability to play music in the background, bootloader unlock fix, and twrp flashing.
(6P ONLY)

Updated! Added all the things in the "changelog".

Updated the thread and the toolkit, the current toolkit version is v4.1 (please try it out, I know there is WugFreshs' toolkit but I tried to make this as simplistic as possible).
I am not advising you to NOT use his amazing toolkit I am just asking for a shot.

I typically do everything manually, but sometimes I'm lazy. When that happens next, I look forward to trying this out

5.0 update will have material design!
(The version number is somewhat ironic )

Some things I am adding and things I might be adding in 5.0
1. Material Design (blue themed) *Added
2. The ability to back up
3. The ability to restore
4. All resources will be downloaded directly from the internet (like twrp images) this will decrease the size of the program (hopefully by a lot) (this MIGHT happen).
5. Removal of the Easteregg (it was dumb anyways and just took up space).
6. Tweaks to the layout of the UI.
Suggestions?

5.0 Progress and Images:
*Added material design.
*Redesigned everything.
*Still a complete re-code.
*Added a 'downloader' to download all the resources.
*Standalone toolkit is now only 1mb.
(it will not look pixely on your computer, that's just due to my HiDPI display and its scaling the program).

Nexus 5X root support is being added...

Latest version vs. Older version of 5.0 vs. 4.1
Here is what the UI looks like (the main screen) for v5.0.1.
Here is my original concept of the UI (v5.0)
Here is what v4.1 looked like:

I continue to add new things to 5.0 daily! Expect a release soon! I already released it on another website for testing purposes . I just need to finish flash twrp and I will (most likely) add support for other devices (moto x pure, oneplus one, etc)

Skipping 5.0 because host was taken down (the place where I hosted all the files in the downloader). So I'm adding a few new things, clearing up some bloat, and fixing everything then I will release it.

All done!
Releasing soon!
Supports the Nexus 4+ for rooting/flash twrp. (Planned support for LTE tablets and the Nexus 10 coming soon).
Also, I plan on adding support to other non-nexus devices for the rooting/flash twrp features in the future.

[Finally] released v5.0 which turned into v6.0.2.1 thanks to bugs and me needing to fix the downloader. All is good now, thanks for using the program!

Android Customization Suite 1.0
This is a program to complement your ROM. It is able to produce a CWM flashable zip with apps your ROM might be missing (T-Mob ones, launchers, utilities, etc). It also has other tools available for you. It can produce an empty flashable zip for you (read more about it here). And now, it has "repositories." Developers can upkeep their own repos with whatever files they wish. Roms, themes, mods, etc.
need Fascinate Devs to talk to me to get their work added on here!
in the mean time, you guys can mess with the Utilities in the Vibrant section just to get a feel for it

Instructions
Download. Note: you must have Java installed to run this app
WHILE YOU ARE DOWNLOADING MAKE A NANDROID BACKUP
Unzip the folder. Please keep it intact. Moving files around in there will probably break the functionality.
Run ACS.jar.
Choose desired apps.
Wiping Dalvik cache is recommended, but it will take you about 5 minutes to boot
Copy flash.zip to your internal sd card
Flash with CWM
Linux users: if you are running Linux I advise you to use the run.sh file to run the program, otherwise it may use your home directory to store files
Mac users: you need to have java 1.6 installed for this to work. i tested this on a friend's mac (running 10.5.8 & java 1.5) and it wasn't working. also i was not able to update her java to 1.6 either. so i'm assuming you need to have snow leopard installed for this to work...
Devs:
Check out this reference guide for more info on setting up a repo list. Feel free to contact me for any clarification. It's really not hard to do it, just have to understand how the app works a little. The guide should give insight and instruction. Contact me to add your repo to the list.
Options Note
If you want to change the location of system apps, please make your selections first THEN change the location
Change Log

--the "repo" is maintained by you and is updated automatically when you update it, no need to recompile the app
-options tab
--new option to specify where you'd like to store apps that would originally go in /system/app currently may not work, need some script help from a dev to fix this D:
-download percent for convenience and downloading large files
-did i mention there's a repo?
v0.7 Beta
-couple GUI changes to make it prettier
-new feature to create blank CWM zips for your use, read more about it here

-the application will not recognize APKs and files outside of itself, so for instance if you have an APK that you want to add just put it in the corresponding folders.
-- for instance my VCK.jar is in folder /vck/, i want to add hi.apk. I could move it to /vck/data/app/hi.apk and when you click generate zip, the program should include it. please contact me if this is unclear or you have questions, this is only a minor feature

This looks like a really useful tool. Can't exactly use it yet until devs add their work, but thank you!
Also could be useful for most but there will always be those that mess things us and blame it on the CODE like they used to do us in the Di**network rom2, rom3, rom10 days.
Other than that great tool when you get enough repositories to cover the phone bases and keep up the coding

I am not responsible if you break your Flyer by flashing this ROM!
What you need:
If you come from Gingerbread, you have to follow this guide before you flash FlyHoney ROM, otherwise your device won't boot! Installing Honeycomb on your Flyer - the complete guidehttp://android.modaco.com/topic/345950-installing-honeycomb-on-your-flyer-the-complete-guide/
Installation:
Download FlyHoney ROM and place the zip on your SD card
Boot the device in recovery by holding vol-down + power
Optional: Go to backups and restore and perform a backup
Choose the option "wipe data/factory reset" and confirm
Then choose the option "install zip from sdcard", then "choose zip from sdcard" and select the FlyHoney ROM zip file and confirm
After flashing, reboot your device
IMPORTANT:
If you don't want to have wifi issues and you want to get my custom scripts (speed scripts, ram optimizations, zipalign on boot) and the mail widget working, then you have to flash the boot.img from the ROM zip after you flashed the ROM:
After you flashed the ROM, boot in fastboot mode (adb reboot bootloader)
extract the boot.img from the ROM zip to the folder where you have the fastboot.exe file
Open cmd and switch to that location (where the fastboot file is)
Type "fastboot flash boot boot.img" (without "") and press enter. Then you're fine and you can enjoy the rom

thanks man, but, the link doesn't work......
oooops... now it's working! tell me something please: it needs same procedure like Paul posted, or just place the zip on SD and flash via recovery???
If you did everything from pauls guide, then you can just put it on your sdcard, boot in recovery, wipe and install.
But you have to follow pauls guide first
hi,
Does it work for WIFI flyer?
It is not tested yet.
But I recommend to read to whole guide from paul (linked in first post).

I see it... and will also test it.
I'm assuming that circular battery percentage does not belong to stock Honeycomb?
No
But i find it much better than the boring htc one (without %)..
Ah and I also forgot to mention that I also added phone functionality
(Added it now to the OP)
can you mirror the little files on paul thread? filesonic is making me wait a lot of time to download the files
Sorry I don't have time for that now, it's late in Switzerland and I got to work tomorrow.
I maybe gonna do it tomorrow evening.
1) BT Headset is really working on this ROM? when i enabled it in the build.prop on the stock HC it wont connect (well it will connect as a headset but will immediately disconnect). Do you have it fuly working in this ROM?
2) Phone is not really working on HC so you can remove it.

[ROM] Mini2Minimal | Barebones based on 2.1.1.C.0.0-R

Mini2Minimal
for xPeria x10 Mini
ABOUT: I wanted a simple ROM with the speed and stability of the older phones, and the power of Android.
So I keep the basic phones functions like call, sms, camera, alarm, email, radio, etc; and deleted the rest.
I also changed the theme to make the ROM more simple and sophisticated.
After 23hs of work and near 80 ROM flashing I get this ROM I want to share with all you, beautiful people

Once inside, you can open text files and edit them, or you can add your own favourites apps to the "app" folder (recommended).
Also, you can insert your own ringtones and sounds on "media/audio" folder.
Replacing the default Keyboard BEFORE installing the ROM:
Open the zip with Winrar, go to "app" folder and delete "SuquashiInputMethod.apk".
Insert in the same folder you favourite keyboard (Swift, Go keyboard, etc).
-------------------
FAQ and Important things:
There is no market, how can I install apps?
Easy Installer was included in the ROM to make installs from USB. You don't have Android Market (play).
What happened with Maps, GPS; Wifi, Blutooth?
Everything is working perfect. Maps has offline options, and Wifi is the new "n" standard.
I'm having a little problem with Root Explorer settings permisions. I can't see the accept button!
Exactly, the bottons are a little more bigger, and you can't choose them :silly:. You can make a workaround changing the LCD Density from default 120 to 110 or less, but you will broke the BackUp utility included with the ROM.
Can't change the ringtones!
The default music app was removed, so, until you install another music apps, you will only choose preinstalled ringtones.
What's about speed and stability of the ROM?
I'm a person who loves to write a SMS with a fast response phone. The ROM was tweaked for speed, but overclock, JIT, underclock and other things which can make the ROM unstable were NOT included. So, it's as stable (or more than) the stock Sony ROM.
Can I use parts of your ROM to make mine?
Of course! Do whatever you want if you thing you can improve it. You can add JIT, Overclock, Underclock... but, please, remember to put me on the credits of your ROM.
-------------------

If you never changed your kernel probably you have this one.
If you have Android 1.5 try to update it first, using Sony Ericsson Update Service.
A detailed transcription of the error will be apreciated too. Thanks :good:

this wont do ant good, i have tried many market version and later realized that this rom cant be synchronized with google accounts which is must for market to work.
You will need to add some apps to the ROM, like: GoogleCheckin.apk, Gmail.apk, GmailProvider.apk...
If you really need to use the market and a light ROM then I recommend you the stock or MiniCM7-2.2.1 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1068553

Installation:
1: Extract the contents of the zip file somewhere (NO spaces in the whole folder path. Need to sort that out)
2: Double-click on JobBox.bat
Installation for method 2:
1: Navigate to a folder where you want the script (NO spaces in the whole folder path)
2: Run the commands for the version you want
3: Run JobBox.bat
NOTES:
To flash recovery, the recovery image must be in "/Data" as "recovery.img"
Optimizing OGG files is done by pulling all audio from the device, into the local computer
where the are optimized, and then pushed back to the device in their original location. HOWEVER,
be aware that optimizing an audio file too many times will break it, and cause serious loss of
audio quality. I have no way to test if the files were optimized already or not, so please keep
track of that yourself.
Optimizing APK files is done by pulling all APKs from the device, into the local computer
where they are optimized, and then pushed back to the device in their original location. There
is no verbose output (by choice), or progress animation. Believe me, its still working. Just
give it time.
No part of this script may be copied,
modified, redistributed, or included
anywhere without my written consent.

Just a heads up, you need to update the unlock command to "fastboot flashing unlock" as this is the new command for the M devices - oem unlock no longer works.
Thanks for the heads up. Question. Is that for devices that shipped with M?
Is all data wiped when performing the unlock no matter what?
Heads up - This tool does not work for some reason, just times out every time.

Its weird if you enable ADB USB debugging via developers options and allow OEM unlock and boot into bootloader it refuses to OEM UNLOCK even when using ADB terminal commands manually
Adb Devices - Lists the device
Fastboot reboot - Works
Fastboot reboot recovery - works
Weirdness - I'll Try ADB on my chromebook see if i can do it there

Yeah i can't get that to work on my ADB drivers i think i need to pull them down from google again, ill try after dinner must eat lol
I included (just in case) the 4 adb files from my current SDK, v24.4.1. I don't have my 6P yet, so I can't test it.
Also, when someone unlocks their 6P, report back here if it clobber use of the fingerprint scanner and/or Android Pay. I want to add a warning about them in the script if it does.

.
It might just be for the Huawei 6P, not all MM devices not certain. Since it's a Nexus device should be fastboot oem unlock not sure why Huawei changed.
Just in case, I added in an option to choose which method to use to unlock/relock the bootloader.
Added to Nexus 6P index thread:

All set now had to update my ADB from the SDK, fastboot flashing unlock was not supported or listed as a command until I updated the SDK
Working on a major update to the backup and restore functions. Should really help people out with backing up certain things, not necessarily the whole thing
Ok, updated to v1.20. Now the user can choose to do a backup before unlocking/relocking, without going through two different sections. Fixed the fastboot commands, and added the ability to flash custom recovery.
MAJOR update to the script. Now available in the OP.
Now, in addition to a full backup, you can also backup and restore certain files, such as your downloads, pictures, videos, music, and even Android application data (NOT the apks, just the data user storage (/Android))
So can I use this tool to back up user data from my G4 and restore to my Nexus 6p so I don't have to reconfigure every single app? Like I can do with titanium backup if rooted?

That's the idea. Just data, not apps....yet
Is this using chainfires systemless root method? And thanks for your contribution to the 6p

All released versions can be found here.

[ROOT] Use SuperSU 2.62 or higher from here systemless for 6.0.1 and above.
Known bugs/limitations: - For partition Flashing, it is recommended(mandatory?) to do a reboot-bootloader if you want to flash multiple partitions one after the other. (according to the Google flashing scripts) (Implemented in 1.2.1)
- For return to stock, the tool will be stuck after your phone successfully boots, you need to reboot to fastboot again in order to flash the Radio and finish the full return to stock. (Fixed in 1.2.0)
Changelog:
Check the changelog for each release here.

Tutorials/FAQ:
Q: How do I get in bootloader/fastboot mode?
Turn off the phone and turn it on by using Volume down + Power key.
Q: How do I check for updates in your tool?
Follow the instructions in the screen below.
Q: Where can I find the device driver to install it for windows?
Click here, download the driver and run the setup.
Q: How do I root my stock phone?
- Unlock bootloader.
- Flash recovery.
- Use SuperSU 2.62 systemless or higher from here.
(Usually the latest version upon tool release is included in the Sideload folder of the tool, you can either sideload it or copy it to recovery and flash it manually)
Q: I get an error "Cannot open file" on MAC, what should I do?
Open the terminal, go to your application path and paste this command:
Code:
chmod +x LxMultiTool.app/contents/macos/*
Q: What do I need to do in order to be in Fastboot or in ADB mode.
Fastboot mode will be detected only while being in bootloader.
ADB mode will be detected from Recovery (custom) and actual ROM with USB debugging active.
Refresh button needs to be used in order to check for what mode you are in.
Q: Are there any other software that I need to install in order to run this tool?
On Windows and MAC everything is bundled, so nothing needs to be installed, just run.
On Linux you need to install from your package manager libQt5Core, libQt5Widgets, libQt5Gui, libQt5Network.
If it's not enough, use ldd LxMultiTool in terminal to find out what you're missing from your environment.
Q: I have an yellow/orange/red text screen during boot, what's that?
When you unlock you usually get the Orange screen and it's normal, but if you really want to know what's this about, give a reading to this.
Q: Hey, my device is not detected, why?
On windows, you need to manually install the USB drivers, they are not included and probably they won't be included in this tool.
Also, make sure you click the connection Refresh button after connecting the device to your PC.
Q: What do i need to do in order to install a custom ROM?
1. Unlock Bootloader.
2. Flash a custom recovery of your choice.
3. Flash an insecure kernel (boot).
4. Flash custom ROM with no problems via recovery.
All those things are found and can be done via this tool.
Q: Hi, i just downloaded this tool, how do i use it?
First, extract the folder somewhere.
After that, run LxMultiTool.exe on windows by double clicking it, LxMultiTool on linux and the same on mac.
Q: Do I need android-sdk installed or something else?
No! This tool uses it's own supplied binaries for adb and fastboot, if you have android-sdk installed it will be ignored anyways.
This tool is fully portable and stand-alone.
Q: I get an error while trying to unlock the bootloader -> FAILED(remote: oem unlock is not allowed), what now?
Starting with Android 5.0, you need to enable Bootloader Unlocking from the developer settings, in order to do that, follow these steps:
- Enable Developer options
- Enable USB Debugging
- Look for the ‘OEM Unlock’ Option and toggle it.
Q: How do I use the return to stock feature?
First download the latest package from here, then extract the contents (there is an archive in the archive) untill you get the a folder like angler-mda89d
that contains the images, that folder needs to be copied in the /Data/StockPackages folder in order to be visible.
Easier steps -> Get your device in bootloader -> Start the tool -> Hit refresh -> go to Stock -> hit open folder -> copy the extracted folder with the name angler-xxxxxx in there, hit F5 or Right-click + Refresh -> you should see the folder in there like in the following screenshot. Thanks @ursa08 for the screenie.
Q: How do I enable Developer options?
- Launch the Settings
- Scroll Down and Tap on About Phone(or About Device)
- Locate the Build Number Section
- Tap on the Build Number Option 7 Times
- Go Back to the Main Settings Page
- Scroll Down and Tap on Developer Options
Q: Hi, i just bought a phone what should i do now?
Well, you firstly need to unlock your bootloader...
Q: What is logcat?
Well, you can pretty much use google for that answer, but to put it short, is that thingy that tells you what is happening behind the scenes of your phone.
It is usually used for debugging and entertaiment(?).
When you report an error/bug to somebody, it will be a blessing to provide a logcat (logfile)!
Q: What is a Custom Recovery and why do i need one?
A custom recovery is that thingy that let's you flash .zip files, use your logic and you wil get it why you need one.
Q:There are others guides/tutorials out there, should i check them instead of this?
If you manage to get things done using this one, no, otherwise yes, note that some could be outdated...
Q:What is sideload and how do I use it?
Sideload is a function from adb that let's you flash a zip file while in recovery directly from your PC.
Please note that you need to be in sideload mode on your recovery before doing this.
To enter sideload mode, in TWRP go to Advanced -> ADB Sideload -> Swipe to sideload

This tool has support only for 4 nexus devices, some features might work, some not, it's all down if the commands that are used by the tool are supported by the other device.
For example all fastboot flashing commands use the command:
Code:
fastboot flash <partition> <file_to_flash>
The same goes for the rest of the commads, I will try to investigate more and see if it's worth it to create a Sam Note 3 package for the tool.
The adb features should work though.
That would be awesome as i run only linux. And cant seem to get odin or heindall to work. Tried multiple times. So if there is something you could cook up. Amazing sauce. Its a att note 3. Either way. This will work great for my n6

Nougat should work with no problems, I personally used it to flash bootloader, radio and vendor images for Nougat update.
