[HELP] "CFT Fail" after writing IMEI (MT 6735P) - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi everyone....
I am having a Micromax Canvas Xpress 4G with MT6735P chipset.
Recently flashed a stock rom of CUBOT H1 mobile and that worked but invalid imei...
Then I reflashed my stock rom,no problem raised, have imei and NO cft fail.....
after that i went to cubot h1 rom and tried to write imei using "Chamelephon" app
That app wrote my imei as 4*40...
So i came back to my stock rom...
But this time invalid imei and seeing CFT fail at top of the left side corner

However I have successfully written my imei using MTK's Engineering mode....
But still CFT fail appears....
Currently my phone is rooted and having a workig CWM recovery.....
I have no problem with gprs,3g,internet,wifi,BT,calling,usb mode,,,,anything,,,,........
Help me guys...

I don't know what is CFT =/
but your IMEI is written via MTK Droid Tools?
You have NVRAM backups?
Try to restore via MTK Droid Tools not 3rd party apps

Changing/writing the IMEI is illegal in most places in the world and as such banned on the site.

Using some others nvram(means you are using their imei) so it is illegal. There are ways to get your imei. First install rom in sp tools then use sn tools or go into engineering mode and write your imei that's it
If you write with engineering mode it is temporary which will go upon factory reset but If you write with sn tools it is permanent and you must have installed vcom drivers and cdc drivers in pc to write with sn tools

I have explained on the link given in my first post that I formatted NVRAM of my phone.
So right now it has no baseband/radio files, and without them SN Tools etc. don't work.
Until I flash these baseband/radio, I can't repair IMEI in any way.
So if someone can provide me with MT6572 nvram.bin, I would flash it and then modify IMEI with SN Tools.
How to load nvram.bin?
I have oposite problem , i have working CWM backup of 4.2.2 from my cubot X6, and working readback from flashtool (my nvram.bin included), when i loaded 4.4.2 i lost IMEIs and nvram warning error in wifi.
SN IMEI writer in meta mode working only for IMEIs , not for MAC adress for me.
So when i have my own working nvram.bin from 4.2.2 , how can i load it in 4.4.2?

I WHOLE formatted my Cherry Mobile Fuze Q390 (MT6582) with SP Flash Tool. Then I flashed the official firmware of this device with SP Flash Tool. I don't have any backups because I am reverting to stock. Now the phone works fine but it does NOT detect the SIM card. Also, the IMEI is shown as "INVALID" for both SIM slots when I input *#06#. When I try to fix IMEI from MTK Droid Tools it shows (ERROR : pttycmd1 device NOT found!). Also, MTK Droid Tools shows (Baseband V -----). I am sure the problem is that when I formatted the phone it wiped the NVRAM region too. So the device has no baseband or radio files right not and also the data/nvram/md folder has nothing in it. Although, WiFI still works perfectly except the annoying NVRAM Warning that I kept on seeing when ever that I wanted to connect to a network. Now the official firmware of Cherry Mobile Fuze Q390 does not contain any nvram.bin file. It does contain the BPLGU file but I can't seem to modify IMEI with SN Write Station, Maui META 3G, IMEI&SN Writer V1.5.3 and etc. I tried using the MTK Engineering mode mode also and tried to write it using the AT+ code but it keeps on saying failed to send command. Probably the SN Write Station, Maui META 3G, IMEI&SN Writer V1.5.3 and etc. only modify the IMEI when the baseband or radio files are already present on the phone. So I think the only way out for me is to flash a nvram.bin using SP Flash Tool or Flash nvram.bin+nvram.tar to MTK Droid Tools which I don't have. Any ideas whether I am on the track or not? If I am, then how can I get the IMEI back on my phone. As you people can see that I have tried a lot of things, so please suggest/advice accordingly and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Phone 1: AT+EGMR=1,7,"myIMEI" <send>

imei repair of acer z530(MT6735)

i flashed stockrom of my acer Z530 using sp flashtool.my imei is missing since then.i restored imei using mobile uncle tool after rooting. i cant update my phone after it.i tried several tools such as sn write tool and maui meta 3g . it didn't work for me says "apmetamode enter fail".is anyone have solution here?.
There are only 2 allowed ways.
1. Flash a stock rom (this doesn't always work)
2. Send it to be repaired.
Editing the IMEI is illegal in many places and as such all talks about doing it are banned
Can you go in to recovery mod now
It is rom on acer wed side

Lava iris 88s imei missing

Hi i flashed my lava iris 88s with stock rom using sp flash tool but now imei is missing. I tried with mtk enginnering but cds are not available and i tried to install cds apk but it failed too. Anyone please help me to solve this problem ???
You obviously lost the /EFS partition and/or /EFS folder where phone's IMEI is stored by default when you flashed the ROM. Hence it's always tremendously important to backup the /EFS partition and/or /EFS folder before flashing a ROM.

I have the same phone(s) - remove the battery and the 2 IMEi codes are written there on the sticker.
You can use the SN Writer Tool to write the IMEI codes back.

I havent used the SN writer myself, but i did use this Auto driver which Hovatek provided and worked for me very well.
I used this driver: Auto Mediatek USB VCOM Drivers Signed (all MT**** devices)
Here is a video guide also by Hovatek how to use the SN Writer.

Edit: I use Windows 10 PRO x64

[SOLVED] My phone don't have IMEI code

Hello, i'have redmi note 9 (merlin).
I had brick my phone with MTK (all data deleted).
But actually i'have flash my phone with stock rom (android 11, miui 12.5.4) and i root this (magisk) and it work!
But my MEI code not are in my phone
no IMEI = no sms, no 4g, ...
How to write my old IMEI code on my phone ?
(I still have the phone box, so I know the old code)
Thanks in advance <3
(i'm french, sorry for my spelling)
Changing or repairing an IMEI code is considered illegal in some countries/regions. But, if you still have a box as you said, you can search online on how to repair the deleted IMEI number. Losing an IMEI is rare and occurs if you've done something to the critical partitions.
Also, could you see any signal on your phone before rooting it with magisk? Or, was it gone right after the main flash?
