Keep Up Bro Nice Work

So, any feedback ?

Nice Work
Hope to see more apps by you

Some feedbacks.
1. Extream lag while pulling down the quick toggles panel after applying a custom image which is about 3mb big.
2. Can't revert to the unmoded header. Removing the module doesn't help.
Anyway this module is awsomeNice work!

The best resolution is : h:500, w:2000. or any 1:4 pic .
For reverting back, disabling the module and restarting would disable the module work, it's powered by xposed, not enabled => won't change anything .
Btw, what's your device/model please?

I'm using xperia sp with candy5 rom. I also have blurred system ui module and it's compatible with your xSystemUI
Also adding an option for importing custom images from cm file manager would be nice

Doesn't work with darkobas rom, oneplus one, sadly.

I may include Time sets in the next update.

Awesome module but unfortunately don't work for AOSP 6.0 yet.
Abo Hani do you have plans to make it work on AOSP MM?
Thanks for share your great work.

You need a pure SystemUI, Samsung SystemUI files are different, at this time i didn't support it, for 2 reasons :
- No header to modify ? only Quick toggles background ( and it's gonna be weird ) .
- I'm not into Samsung modding yet.

Ill have the requested files up in about 10 minutes. Thanks man!

Just one last thing please, what doesn't work ? Image and/or Color ? plus, try to long press on the SystemUI Header, and let me know if you see any strange color/drawable appear instead of the TEAL Color .
Thanks!

After installing module and rebooting and then choosing a header color and rebooting again the changes wernt applied.

- It works only on GSM phone( not tested on CDMA)
- U should flash this rom on an ICS rom(I mean, your kernel should be 3.X, and your stock rom should be ics)

- Wipe/Reboot & enjoy it
How to boot into CM bootmenu:
- During power on, when U see the led turns RED, press(NOT press hold, just press again and again) the volum key down
- U can starting press the volum key down when U saw the moto logo if U don't know when to press this key

PS:Someone said BM compatibile version not works on their phone, so flash this version at your own risk.
This snapshoot was the first release, the signal bar display problem had fixed now
Maybe this is the last ics release for MagicMod, I'm mergeing my changes into jellybean now, so the next release would be jellyben rom, also, I'll add more functions in it.

}
It's Alpha release ! So except bugs !
Make CWM Backup before using this app !
I've tested it only on V20C and V20D P760 firmwares, but it should work on all V20* roms, on all L9 variants.
How app works ?
- app is getting LGSystemUI.apk file from your device and decompiling it,
- you are choosing mods to apply,
- app is compiling new LGSystemUI.apk and sending it to your device
If you are using apktool, and you have installed any framework files (from other rom / device) - this app can have problems.
To fix these problems, use "Install framework files" (from Options).
Requirements:
- V20* (Jelly Bean 4.1.2) firmware
- root
- .NET Framework (on PC) - click here to download ... On Windows 8 it's already installed
Download:
LG Optimus L9 Theme Kitchen v1.2 (Alpha)
MediaFire.com
[old versions]
Video (v1.0 Alpha):
To do:
- add more mods / themes
(you can help me - if you are good themer - you can decompile LGSystemUI.apk, edit some files and send here these files (decompiled). If I'll like your work - it will be included in next version of Kitchen)
- improve app / fix all bugs (if they are here)
- and more..
I have tested it only on Windows 7 64-bit - it should work on Vista, 7 and 8. I'm not supporting XP.
Changelog:
v1.2
- added Backup & Restore (in "Options")
- added Sense battery
v1.1
- added more clock options:
* Choose clock position: Right (default) or Center
* Option to hide clock,
* Now you can choose any clock color !
Center clock is experimental. It works, but if you will get notification, it will overlay with clock. I'll try to fix it as soon as possible.
v1.0a
- now app is logging something into ".files/logs" - it can help me fix some bugs
v1.0
*first release*

Bugs:
- Center clock will overlay with notifications.
Awesome !!
I wish i could edit system setting background to black and text to white color.
Will try and revert back.
Edit:
Tried it last night. Everything seemed to work it didn't show any errors.
but after reboot the SystemUI crashed.I think LG_systemui did not compile properly may be its something to do with signing or resources. I don't know.
But thankfully i had made a backup of my LG_systemUI.
if anyone else also face similar situation they can flash my backed up LG_systemUI by flashing restore.zip via cwm.
@mateo1111
Please have a look at the logs. I have attached the logs in a zip.
Its a awesome initiative, love the simplicity and ease of use of this theme kitchen

Just updated first post with new version (v1.0a) - it's now logging something into 4 files (in ".files\logs" directory).
If someone (who gets System.UI crashes) can attach these 4 files - I'll probably know, what is the problem
Will try to add Backup / Restore option asap. I'm very busy now ;/

Have you installed .NET Framework ?
If you have - we can say, that this app is not compatible with Windows XP.
Mateo Theme Kitchen stoping at Decompiling LGSystemUI.apk and Compile LGSystemUI.apk logs send in Private Messages.
Bug - changing statusbar clock color makes systemui.apk error and closing it.

You can download CWM Backup of ROM that you are using here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2136204
Then open "system.ext4.tar.a" (with something like WinRar) and extract stock LGSystemUI.apk
decompile systemui
I keep trying to decompile LGSystemUI.apk but I keep getting error. Install proper framework etc. but I already have framework installed. help?

Before downloading this... I have 2 questions...
1 - Does it require the ROM to be deodexed to work properly?
2 - Are there alpha channel options for the status bar? (To make it transparent)

Hi guys, this ROM is oriented to be as stock as possible plus some tweaks that will
make it smoother...hope you'll like it!!!
I made this choiche because:
many of us like the sex appeal of the stock LG interface;
it is more compatible with MODS and Themes that will come.
KERNEL:
Stock 20E Kernel with:
- SElinux set to permissive;
- init.d support
- root support
ROM:
- Rooted
- Zipaligned
- Busybox
- Debloated
- Various build.prop tweaks
- Splitwindow all Apps
- SD_external fix ( writable for all apps)
- Lollipop SD internal error fix ( and i wish also invisible navbar and statusbar )
- Viper4Android support --> just install the app from HERE
- call recording
- all weather animations on lockscreen
- dpi navbar reduced to 32 ( that was really too tall)
- enabled all rotations
- safe media volume disabled ( i really hate it )
- plug pop enabled
- smooth scrolling mod ( it's java coding mod not a simple build.prop edit )
- volume steps for media increased to 30
- OTA Updater ( so you will not need to download the whole rom for simple fix / mod added )- need some testing more on this but might be ok
DOWNLOAD
For The sharpening fix check this script

Install the TWRP Recovery ( i suggest THIS that make a backup also of the modem partition, needed for downgrade to KitKat Roms )
Put the ROM file in your SD
Reboot to recovery
Flash the Rom
If you think i deserve, you can think to make me a gift.... Christmas is near!
Changelog:
-17.12.2014:
- updated to base to 20E;
- 04.12.2014 Updated to new base 20D
- added Call Rec ( in separate zip - i don't want that the users need to download whole rom for an only one APK changed)
tnx to @Kickoff for the graphics

a) why ask when you haven't seen it yet?
b) it's supposed to be close to stock, not AOSP
c) you can flash those apk's later yourself.

Yes... We all know, there is no custom rom for tab 4 7.0.. So, I decided, I will not make a total rom..! I have made a flasheble zip with some mods with xposed apps.. It is quite small in size and it gives you a fully lollipop experience..!!

This thread looks awesome. I'll be flashing this when its available. What versions of the 7in will you be supporting?
Two things though, my good sir.
1st - this is built from OEM Samsung Firmware. This thread actually belongs in regular development sub-forum. (Original Development is reserved for compiled aftermarket Firmware....ie CM/AOSP ROMs and compiled Kernels from source)
2nd - to post in a development forum, you need valid download links. No place holds allowed.
Other then that this ROM looks amazing.
g_ding, it is my mistake too because right now I help out with the build prop and I have not the 24/7 time range to get it back to Roy. So please we know what's wrong.
Oh wait! Is the base system 5.1.1? Or themed based on 5.1.1??

I mentioned it in the title. It is a themed ROM.
Please stop tagging themed kitkat roms with [5.1.1] tag, it's confusing and it's a lie basically

Statusbar Clock Flashable Zips for OP 3(T)/5

Intro:
So with the new OxygenOS updates, legacy Substratum has stopped theming the statusbar clock properly. Statusbar icons can't change color dynamically anymore. This can be fixed by using a flashable zip for the clock position and only using Substratum to customize the clock format, color and font.
Request the clock style you want:
Until I can get aroma working properly every clock style is going to be a different flashable zip so I'm not going to make them all at once. If you want one, request it here with the following information
-Your phone (OP 3(T) or OP 5)
-Your OxygenOS version
-The clock position you want (Right, left, or center)
-Whether it should be hidden on the Lockscreen or not
-Whether it should dynamically switch from white to grey depending on the background
Any requests without all of this information will be ignored

This mod white-grey crash all ui on op3t
Your substratum module 1.2 have the color bug with remove indicators and QS tiles 4 only, and @ungeeked not.
Hi, I'm using OnePlus 5 at 4.5.12, can you make me a zip with this properties? Miss having my status bar icons turned grey when on white background, the link on the op doesn't take me to download any zip's.

That zip is uploaded. The link in the op takes you to the root folder of the flashable zip downloads, from there you can select yiur Device and then your Rom version to find the zip

Installed the White-Grey zip for OnePlus 5, reapplied the new version of K-Klok, the problem remains, icons are not turning grey at white background/statusbar
EDT: Made it work after uninstalling all the klok overlays and restarting. It's working now. Seems like just installing the zip fix the problem about having the clock on the centre and White-Grey icons, the only problem is that there is no option to revert it, I'm happy with this solution though.
@KpChuck: can you please create a flashable zip for the following config:
- OnePlus 3T
- OxygenOS Open Beta 15
- Center Clock
- Should be hidden on lockscreen
- Should dynamically switch from white to grey depending on the background

It's not working. The clock is centered, but dynamic color change is not working. I have removed all the K-Klock overlays before flashing the zip.

Idk man, that's what worked during our testing,. Try uninstalling all substratum oveays maybe.
Also, some apps (like youtube) just don't change the statusbar color so nothing I can do about those

I have tried uninstalling all the overlays. But still it's not working. It's not any specific app, the dynamic color change is not working for all the apps which has white statusbar background. Anyway thanks for making the mod upon my request.
Just one query, is there any way to revert this without dirty flashing the rom?
