Works amazing on my H1611. I can now have higher volumes with a much cleaner clearer sound.

Thread reported for blatant and classless theft. (in a timely fashion of the sort typically reserved for events such as the changes observed with Pangea.)
If only you could have shown adequate restraint and respect towards those that prepare something you deem valuable enough for you to share in yet another thread offering @worstenbrood's dap_r6.5 appropriately, I simply would have ignored this thread and moved on.
Unfortunately, the one and only effort I credit you in this port is a single word change effectively directing all credit to you and stripping all credit from it's rightful source: @worstenbrood
I can assure you I was prepared to ignore this thread before even clicking its link regardless of which port was inside.
Take this opportunity to take action and aspire to be an asset to XDA and its members. We all make mistakes, no matter how careless or malicious they may be, mistakes can be harnessed to come out even better than had you not made a decision other than the appropriate one resulting in my inability to ignore this thread and not take this particular post #.
Finally, this "bad form" can be erased entirely by taking the appropriate actions to restore @worstenbrood's dap_r6.5 preparation by reversing your single edit, crediting @worstenbrood in post #1 along with the direct link to the original thread which is now maintained by @ahrion (I tried to ignore this thread, these measures now seem mandatory instead of just good form).
This link will be a valuable single line in your OP by relieving you of support and troubleshooting expectations (as an XDA user with an exhaustive history of a pursuit to inspire individuals to aspire to be the best they can be, when not providing support and assistance for a variety of mobile solutions and enhancements, the thought of being expected to provide support for something prepared by someone else is almost overwhelming for me lol), as well as providing an avenue towards capable support that minimizes disappointment and dissatisfaction for visitors to this thread finding themselves with a less than perfect installation result.
I also suggest that you thank the original thread's OP. Your request for "Thanks" consumes 20% of your OP making your observed absence among the hundreds of "thanking" @worstenbrood's OP ironic to say the least. However, I commend you for not soliciting donations for work that the creator provides without such monetary requests.
Do not feel accosted or punish yourself too much, dap_r6.5 has found itself in numerous presentations that significantly more unfavorable.
If taking immediate action quickly enough to present the alerted moderator with an OP I have outlined for impressive form and efficient value rather than the OP presented to me, it will be noticed and appreciated as i assume the alerted moderator has more pressing matters to address than this forgivable infraction.
And as a showing of good faith and good will, I promise you that this post will be aggressively modified to provide no evidence of this post's purpose. :good:
Edit*
You know what, let us all take a moment to "smdh" at the guy failing to notice the date in the OP.
If this OP has lasted this long then by all means, pay me no mind. :silly:

Good diagram program

Anyone try any of the diagram programs out there?
I'm currently testing out Dianoid Lite (https://play.google.com/store/apps/...developer&rdid=com.welant.dianoid.lite&rdot=1) and with the exception that it doesn't export to Visio, it's ok. Has anyone tried any of the others like Smart Diagram (https://play.google.com/store/apps/...oid.DiagramMaker.corepro&feature=related_apps) or the others?

An unfortunate and condescending response considering that a that good part of this site is APKs redistributed or modified without permission in ROMs or for those in regions arbitrarily without access to the latest and greatest apps.
Thankfully I know how to look up modifying my build.props to get it installed, I was just hoping to avoid the hassle by finding someone helpful out there.
I guess that as is increasingly the case one will have to go and help themselves.

DigitalMD’s response was the correct one. There was nothing unfortunate or condescending about it.
He went to the trouble to locate the author’s web page in an effort to help you.
As far as developers incorporating apks in their roms, all of them secure permissions before using someone else’s work

If you expect people to break rules and pirate stuff because you are too lazy, then Yeah off you go.
Impressive ...
I posted a response to the accusations to piracy and laziness, and a suggestion that maybe the reason why many users are here is to run unsupported stuff on their phone. I also stated that to suggest that all those HTC/Sony/Sammy variant ROMs are done with the full permission of the manufactures is also patently false.
My post got deleted and I have 6 months of infraction points ...
XDA really has gone down the toilet.
Anyway, the important piece of information that I posted is that DroidDia runs fine on at least two unsupported devices (Galaxy Tab and Galaxy Note) ... I extracted the APK from a Nexus One and installed directly.
Feel free to abuse me again for as long as this post remains ...
As apparently it is OK
Not that I expect this post to last much longer than the last one
Hmm.. interesting debate you guys are having in here. Here is how this is supposed to work:
MaxJavi, believe it or not, is not in fact asking for warez at all since the app is free (just restricted in its distribution due to Market's policies). Reposting the apk needs to be done with the developer's permissions but as it is not a paid app nor does it use any kind of licensing model such as Swype, it should be ok to post under our rules (of course, unless the IP owner complaints, in which case it has to be taken down).
On the other side of the coin, the answer provided to him was neither wrong, unfortunate, or condescending. It was in fact 100% correct. @MaxJavi, you were provided with the correct answer and your response to a helpful post (not too many of these around these days) was far more condescending, inflammatory, and filled with disdain than what you claim the other response was. A simple "thanks for the response" even if it would have meant for you to have to go to Google for 15 seconds to find the apk or ask the dev if you could have it would have been the correct venue. The infraction that you received was for the attitude you had towards someone simply taking the time to reply to you in a courteous manner, who even went as far as searching for the company in Google and posting a link for you to contact them.
I hope the OP doesn't mind, but I am closing this thread now as answers have been provided.

Mainly because the people involved in those kind of decisions will most likely not see it here.
Not every phone can have a home in XDA.
There are many factors affecting the decision, one of them being interesting and continuous development, this is xda-developers after all.
P, U and Sola are relatively new devices, borderline low-end, middle-end at best, so it could go either way.
You need to be patient and in the meantime, try to make the accomodation of more than one phones under the same section bearable.
It is your responsibility to post in the correct sub-section, provide clear and to-the-point thread titles ("HEEEEEEEELP " "OMG wtf happened to my phone" "???" etc, are NOT acceptable) with tags ([P], , [Sola], ) so that the forums are as clean and helpful as possible.
Thanks!
Ion, even though definitely a high-end phone, is just not that popular at the moment. I do not think XDA favors Samsung, users do, so they render their products popular.
Please make your requests here, keeping in mind that they may or may not be met after all.
Thank you!
Now look at the image attached. I call BS on this excuse.

[INDEX] Looking for a developer?

[INDEX] Looking for a developer?
Recently, there have been a lot of threads which had the purpose to find developers for the thread starters' projects.
Additionally, you often see people posting their app ideas which is great for developers who are looking for new projects.
To reduce the amount of those threads and to have one place where developers can look for ideas/jobs, I created this thread in collaboration with @QuantumFoam.
Feel free to post your app ideas here or to post if you look for a developer to create an app. It does not matter whether it is a paid or a non-paid job.
Additionally, there will be a list of developers you can contact via PM if you want them to build an app for you.
If you are a developer, send me a PM with a link to your profile. I will add you to the list.
The list of devs:
QuantumFoam
ACdev
sak-venom1997
vijai2011

To help decide who to choose, you can create a post here in which you give links to examples of your work. That is your possibility to show why you are the perfect person for the job.

What is the best way to go about paying developers found on here? I just want to make sure I have all my hens lined up to prevent any complications. I am sure each person will be different, but is there a typical "norm," such as PayPal/Cashier's Check/Bitcoins/Etc?
I know some of the paying sources require a few hoops to jump through, so if there is an odd ball one that the majority use, I just want to make sure it is setup before I go looking for developers!
Thank you.

You could also use gift cards (e.g. Amazon).
It is up to you.
I need an app...a utility I guess you would call it...definitely a groundbreaker
I have an app that I want created, it has a very specific function and will be very useful. It will require knowledge of roms, NV writing, and OTA programming. I have a very planned workflow, and a virtually limitless hardware supply for testing various handsets. This could potentially be a great earner, and I'm also prepared to throw some cash at the project to get someone interested. If any of you feel like you fit that bill, get in touch with me and let's get serious...this app is needed MONTHS AGO and will continue to be needed for a long time & could grow exponentially. If anyone is interested, let's talk & get in business.
Reverse Engineer Instapray app
Hello everyone,
since i don't have a large budget for the app i want , i would like someone to reverse engineer Instapray Android App and make 3-4 small changes in order to suit my needs.
If someone can do it please message PM me or by gmail: kasidisaueb gmail com
Thanks
The next one in the row :fingers-crossed:
Like the topic said, also I am looking for a developer or simply a programmer.
I would prefer someone who acts more as a partner, than someone recruited for money.
I would prefer someone who isn't totally interested in profit. If there is any, we share it 50:50. So I want someone who does it for fun (because I don't believe the revenue would be higher than a few bucks. But perhaps ...).
As an alternative, a student who is satisfied with a very low salary for a few hours could be recruited, but without participation on later revenues.
I will provide the idea, a mockup, a working concept, the graphics, the trade licence and a contract (as a protection for further revenues of two unfamiliar people).
Because I don't have much experience in app development and marketing I am looking for someone, as stated above, who wants to be a partner and isn't interested only in profit.
Perfect would be someone german.
The skill requirements are very low. Only some database knowledge. Perhaps some knowledge about plotting graphs and network synchronisation as a special feature for the app.
Interested? PM me :highfive:

AFAIK camera is broken in all new KitKat roms. If you need working cameras use Jelly Bean or ICS builds.

Before flashing, did you even bother to read through any of the dev or Q&A threads, or do you always just blindly install the most critical software for any device without thought or ramifications of the consequences? To put it bluntly, it shows a profound carelessness at best, or at worse, willful ignorance. Every dev thread here lists either in the first or second post a list of known bugs with their ROMs. ALL versions of KitKat regardless of the author have serious issues at the moment. Even the most casual of glances would have revealed this to you. To start a new thread over a known major issue is a redundant waste of time and bandwidth.
May I suggest that in the future, you at least take a minute or two, to read through and familiarize yourself with what you're undertaking before doing so, in order to prevent wasting everyone else's time with your complaining about a very well known issue.
Edit: Sorry I came on so strong. Listen, everyone was a newbie once, but it's not an excuse for acting like one. You may not have many posts, but you've been here for awhile. There's a wealth of info on the posts pinned to the top of the forums, including board etiquette. If you discover what you think is a bug or if you have an issue, you should post in the Q&A thread for that ROM. But before posting there, you should read through both the Q&A and dev thread to see if it's already known from being previously reported. This keeps clutter off the board and focuses problem solving to the proper channels.

FYI Spanky, I'm no kid, I'm a 51yo man, a truck driver (Teamsters Local 769), who could drop you in a heartbeat. If I (someone with no formal IT training and a HS diploma from 30 years ago) can figure this out in my off-time, between dealing with work, and my family, what's your excuse? All you had to do was look at my profile before speaking out of the wrong orifice, and you'd know this.
It appears you're even less capable than I gave you credit for in my previous post, since you show a proclivity for being unable to read or do research, and have wedged your foot so far into you mouth that it's impossible to extricate. I've forgotten more than you've ever learned (obviously not a high bar to leap over). Unlike yourself, I contribute here towards providing useful info and help to others who're willing to help themselves. Hence, my high ratio of thanks to posts in a short time here. You, on the other hand, have never provided one bit of useful information in your much longer time on the board (which is easily verified by searching your previous posts).
I don't pretend to be smarter than you, I know I am! That's because I have enough common sense to know my abilities and limitations, something you obviously lack. You seem to have selected an apropos handle, "Insectman." So by all means, obliviously continue along in your vacuous ways, and slither back into the damp crevice you were hiding in. Have a nice day!!!!

I'm sorry, he's rude? LOL Bruh, look at his thanks meter. He's HELPING people. He knows his stuff, so he deserves to have an ego. ESPECIALLY since he built his own ROM.
But I guess you're too fat headed yourself to be humble and accept the fact that this thread could have been avoided if the OP had just read the changelog. Let's face it, if by some mishap the OP had bricked his device he'd be crying for help (just like I did) and I know for a fact that I didn't read anything before (cause I was stupid, and I can acknowledge the fact that I used to be ignorant and now I take the time to read through the forums properly before I post unnecessarily, and Ody here has helped me a great deal.)
So before you go calling people rude and judge them prematurely, take a minute to really think about what you want to post.
PS. he did apologize, so I see no need for you to be bashing him still. I, on the other hand, don't give a damn.
I'm bored, so I went through the Q&A
Remind me not to do this again.
@Darin_Ram, thanks for your strong defense. I do greatly appreciate it, however, the truth of the matter is that @sam_conrad is correct. I was rude to the OP. No matter how much good I do in assisting others here it doesn't mitigate the matter, because two wrongs don't make a right. I lost my cool when I read the comments he directed towards me and lashed out in an unbecoming manner. For this there is no excuse. If my kids had behaved in such a way I would have had a conniption, so I should expect no less from myself.
Thanks again for your heartfelt comments.

Maybe what you are offering is that if he can't recover his original system from his nandroid backup, he can download and flash a stock ROM, such as this GingerBread (courtesy ravike14 signature):

or perhaps a stock from here:

@Darin_Ram, thanks for your strong defense. I do greatly appreciate it, however, the truth of the matter is that @sam_conrad is correct. I was rude to the OP. This is a much more noble reply. While you're extremely helpful to the community, and I never disagreed that you are, it's no excuse to be an ass. There is never a "deserving right" to be rude in any case. In my world, at least, the people treat each other with respect or they're gone. I know that I don't have time to deal with people that don't want to move forward and get along. Regardless of how stupid some peers might seem, or how smart one may believe he/she is, I think showing some humility and always staying grounded goes a long way.
I often tell people that some of the world's greatest minds are the dumbest of us all - some of your behavior represented why. When we're in an advantaged position of knowledge, we should encourage others to learn from us, not the other way around.
@Darin_Ram - no need to throw personal jabs at me, trying to tell me I'm full of myself (or "fat headed"), please and thank you. I don't claim to be a genius in any regard, and especially not the mobile space. I just have found Ody on a few too many accounts to be unnecessarily rude... My own focus is on computer networking and desktop PCs. :good: I usually reside at XtremeSystems.org and HWBOT.org due to my hobby of extreme LN2 overclocking.
Use original rom of htc

You have no permission, consider closing the thread before you get flamed/banned.
They made the rules for a reason.
I'd seriously consider taking this down before dyneteve sees that you've posted this.

I have already said I don't own this ROM. Just posted this cause your rom has a misleading info whereas this rom actually has the camera working. I also gave the credits to dyneteve. If he still doesn't want this posted, I'll take this post down. My intention was not to steal, nor to take credit. Just wanted share this with community

Technically my post isnt wrong it says under broken Camera (video recording) that was put like that in an effort to stop people asking if one works and not the other. It also says there maybe other bugs, so even if I'd missed that out it was still covered, all you had to do was question it, not steal a ROM with the so say desire to help
This was wrong in every aspect...
First of all making a thread where you're sharing the link to a ROM build which was not even made by you without the permission of the original Maker goes against the rule 12 of Sharing, also users who are willing to flash at every cost might end with serious issues with their phones because the build was not made by you but taken from somewhere else (Maybe not in this case but sharing something not yours from somewhere else here, on the forums is not secure at all for the community).
If the original Maker hasn't shared it yet on XDA there are reasons so why should you do it in the first place?
Thread cleaning not needed, but closure is needed for sure.
