Daily driver band right now - Moto 360 2015

So as of lately this is the band I've been using. It's inexpensive nice quality, and feels nice. It comes with a kit to make adjustments, and installs fairly easily. Nice be metal band for a decent price. I will upload some shots of it soon. Which one did you order? [Pics]

I went with 46mm with brown leather strap and silver casing and silver bezel! Keeping it classic!
Post yours!!
Looks nice, I'll probably go for that or a black strap.
I want to see someone order a black silver combo of some sort between the casing and the main body.

I ordered the same as you except for a black casing. I plan on replacing the leather band with my TYLT black band though. I am kind of active and the leather doesn't hold up very well.
None of them. I'm replacing my Moto 360 with a Hauwei Watch because of Motorola's abysmal new warranty policy of charging customers a fee for advanced swap-out of their watches (in addition to the industry-standard credit card hold), even when the problem is a known and publicly acknowledged design flaw of the watch itself.
I shouldn't have to wait ages without the product I paid for -- and with its warranty clock running down while its gone -- and I shouldn't have to pay for replacement either, when it's under warranty. Especially not for a design flaw. That policy lost me as a repeat customer for Motorola.

Picked up a black 42mm with black leather at best buy yesterday. Not sure they're even supposed to be selling them yet lol. They were tucked away in a cabinet, nothing on display. Loving it so far. Much dnapper than gen1. Battery life is great even with always-on. Heart rate monitor is MUCH better, and the readings it takes every 5 mins actually get reported to Google Fit if you connect Moto Body. Pedometer reports much closer to my FitBit too.
I ordered the women's rose gold from best buy and will be arriving in the afternoon.
42mm Men's Gold with Cognac Brown Leather band. Kinda classic looking.
I just picked up 2 42 inch black 360. One for me and my hubby. Replaced them from the crappy Samsung Gear S. I'm loving it so far. I felt naked without my smart watch for 2 months.

On it's way soon Silver - Black Micro Knurl - Black leather band
Will receive it next week .. 46mm Stainless Steel - Silver band.
So far I'm really pleased with this model. The always on mode is great.
Gold all the way!
I got the black leather band because I thought it would make it more versatile, but I'm going to buy the gold metal band as soon as it's available. My 360 should be here next Thursday. Can't. Friggin'. Wait.
I got the 46mm Black, Black Knurled and Black Metal, I actually think it came together quite well
46mm silver body with silver micro knurl bezel and silver metal band. Also got the tylt silicone band for the gym.
Here I am, happy new owner of a black 42 mm leather (only option for this size in Italy...)
46mm version (standard silver/cognac version)
Finally got my 46mm black knurl and super engineer band... Happy as can be with it.
super engineer band is a 3rd party band?

Will the Pebble Steel band work with the new Moto 360?

It works well with my first gen, would love to transfer it to the new one.
Why wouldn't it? I'm using the same band that I used on my 1sr gen. I no longer need the SteelConnect though.
Why wouldn't it? Well, I wasn't sure if it would fit. That's why I asked. So you're using the Pebble Steel metal band on the second gen 360?
It will fit but only on the 46mm version. Same 22mm band. The 42mm version has a 20 mm band
Thank you!

I just tried my Pebble Steel band on the new watch and I couldn't get the pin back enough to fit in the new watch? Did you use a special technique to do so?
as others have said it should work just fine on the 46mm model, but it wont look great since the pebble band doesn't really have a bar at the end to cover the springbar. it'll look a bit ghetto without the watch face to cover it up.
Like I said above, it didn't fit as the pins seem to be too long. Is it too early for third party bands to be available?
Here is one with good reviews that is supposed to fit it well:
http://www.amazon.com/Metal-Truffol-Release-Android-Smartwatch/dp/B0111I8A4C
In case you want to know, the pins of the pebble time steel leather band fits perfectly on the moto 360 2nd gen 46mm.
My Pebble Steel metal band from my original Moto 360 didn't work on my new Moto 360 since the pins were too short. I went to a jewelry store and they found longer pins to make it work, but the following day, a pin came out and my watch went crashing down on the ground. I think I'm going to wait until I can buy a metal band specifically made for the Moto 360 2015 is released.

Moto 360 - 42mm Black - Band?

Hey guys,
I bought a Moto 360 2nd Gen in the 42mm Black variant with a Horween leather band, It was the only option available at the time as i wanted it asap, And i'm actually satisfied with my purchase however i'm willing to purchase a Stainless Steel Black Band, However i can't find any that is compatible with the 42mm Variant as it takes a 20mm Band, I'm looking for a Black stainless steel one that consists of a butterfly clasp,
However i was wondering would any 20mm Band work with my moto360 even if it doesn't consist of the quick pin pull outs for the lugs?

Thanks for your response.
Ya, any 20mm band will work. This my favorite style of band, I got it from Amazon.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00YA4L7HC?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00
make sure to order some extra pins as well, since the ones that come with the watch are attached to the strap.
For my 42mm I had gone for a cheap silicone band with quick-release pins to hold me over till I could get a proper stainless one. I figure for 12 bucks on amazon it's worth the peace of mind to know I'm not ruining the leather doing dishes or at the gym.
Got the 46mm since then, half because it was available with stainless
Get a spring bar removal tool from Ebay also, it will make your life much easier changing bands. I just bought one, they are cheap.

Do you find that the huge clasp on the bottom prevents you from putting your hand on the table?

It's not a huge clasp, no bigger than any other watch. Plus it has the advantage of all the extra band wrapping around on the inside of the strap, instead of the outside.

Just Ordered Gun Metal Zenwatch 2 (Steel Band)

Hello,
So I just ordered a Zenwatch 2 as a Christmas present for myself. I originally bought a Fossil Q Founder. I figured with the Intel Processor and 1GB of ram it would be more future proof. I didn't like it though. It didn't fit / feel right on my wrist. The flat tire seemed worse in person than I thought it would and it doesn't have an internal speaker for future use. (Thank you Android Police, for saying it had a speaker, which it does not)
I am pretty stoked! The Zenwatch 2 is my first smart watch if you don't count my 1 day with the Fossil Q Founder. I went with the all Gun Metal (Black) Stainless Steel version. I think it looks really sharp and sleek. I like how the steel band clasps together. I also ordered the brown leather band which has the metal clasp as well. ($24.99 from Asus) I was originally going to buy the Gun Metal / Brown Leather version from Best Buy for $150 and then just order the metal band later on. I ended up saving this way though. I got the Gun Metal Stainless Steel version from BH Photo for $199 shipped (No sales tax). The band individually cost $60.
Best Buy has the Zenwatch 2, Huawei Watch, LG Watch Urbane, and Moto 360 (2nd gen) all on display in store. I was able to try on all of them. I didn't like the flat tire on the Fossil so obviously the 360 was out from the beginning. I like the look of the LG, but it did not feel right on my wrist at all. Either did the Huawei watch. The Zenwatch 2 fit and felt the best out of all of them! If they had the display (Gun Metal / Brown Leather) in stock I probably would of bought it as I am impatient, then just ordered the black metal band separately and pay a little extra all said and done. They were out of stock though. This is one of the only times that I like / prefer the cheaper item. lol. I originally went to Best Buy with the intent to purchase the Huawei Watch, replacing my Fossil Q Founder. I just liked the design and feel of the Zenwatch 2 more. I can't believe it is only $130 rubber, $150 leather, $200 metal. Such a good deal!
UPDATE:
I ended up returning the Zenwatch 2. I just really don't like the large bezels around the display. It also had a stuck pixel near the center of the display. (Neon Green) If the Zenwatch 2's entire watch face was all display, I would have LOVED it and just did an exchange due to the stuck pixel. I ended up buying the Huawei Watch for $309 shipped, free overnight shipping and no sales tax from BH Photo Video. I received it yesterday and I love it! I'm not trash talking the Zenwatch 2 though at all. I still think it is a great smart watch, especially for the $130 / $150 / $200 price tag.
I had the ZenWatch 2 for about two weeks before trading up to the Hauwei. I loved the ZenWatch 2. I highly recommend it. I was just telling someone that the fit is great. I like the curve of the screen and how it wrap around your wrists. The price is awesome too.
The ONLY reason why I swapped for the Hauwei, well 2 reasons. Me and another dev screwed up our system partitions gaining root and pulling partition backups for TWRP (the thread is here somewhere). They weren't bricked but it was refusing updates. So I planned on going back to swap it but they were out (after Thanksgiving rush) and they had the Hauwei on sale plus I have 10% off.
I kept the Hauwei just because I came from the LG G Watch (square) and the ZW2 felt like great upgrade, but it didn't "feel" different. That could be a good or bad thing because the LG G Watch is also a awesome device but I just wanted to SEE the investment. The round screen helped that. The only thing is the smaller battery but neither have issues getting through a day.
Plus only the ZW2 and Hauwei watch have speakers for the upcoming update (speaker phone!)
I had the GunMetal gray version of the ZW2 and I bought the Steel version of the Hauwei. Both great. I do have a hard time justifying the price of the Hauwei (since they work exactly the same), but I like it. My ex said she liked the "square" watches better. But I still have my LG G Watch too... so...

I just got the ZenWatch 2 a couple weeks ago. I like it a lot and probably won't get another for awhile, but if I do, I'm going for the Huawei. Out of curiosity, is the display on the Huawei any better than the ZW2?

My wife just got me a smartwatch for Christmas. I gave her the choice between the zenwatch 2 or the Huawei watch. She picked the Huawei watch and I am loving it. I did try the zenwatch 2 on at best buy. I think I would have been happy with that too

The Huawei has a 1.4" AMOLED Display with 286 PPI. The Asus ZW2 has a 1.63" AMOLED Display with 278 PPI. The Huawei may appear a little nicer. Not so much because of the slightly higher PPI, but because of the fact that it is a smaller display so it will be more dense.

Moto 360 V2 42mm bands help

I ordered the pebble steel matte black band for my moto 360 v2 42mm. Some people say it will fit but some don't. I asked an amazon representative (I bought it from amazon) and they said it will fit watches with 18-22mm bands. 20mm is in between, so would it fit?
bump... any suggestions?
Probably
