Hello,
Drextee Messenger for Android Wear is available for beta testing. It has a powerful word suggestion engine which makes typing faster and an error correction feature which makes correcting fat-finger errors easy.
Some of its other features are,
1- Receiving and sending SMS and email
2- Emoji support
3- Voice recognition option
4- Addressbook search
Demo: youtu.be/Bvlk3_4MOvA
You can download the app at play.google.com/apps/testing/com.idelan.drexteemessenger
We will appreciate it if you try it and submit your feedback at bit.ly/1iN8QOQ or post it here.
Note: if you can't download it, wait a few minutes and try again. Sometimes it takes a while for Google Play Store to add a new user.

It's too slow almost put the phone to stall

Aditya,
Do you mean it is slow when you are entering a message on your watch? If yes, please open Drextee Messenger on your watch. On its keyboard please press "..." and then press "Settings". Then unselect "Word Suggestion". This should solve your problem.
What phone and OS version are you using?

Tried searching for a name, just got the loading... screen and thought it was stuck. Clicked the button to go back and reentered the program and it was still stuck on the loading... screen. I swiped up and it went back to the text box. I was able to type again. Kinda slow after entering a letter with the load screen.
Also, it would be nice if I can go straight to inbox.

Good, but we have been discussing why it is slow for you when the word suggestion is on. To help us diagnose the problem can you do the following experiment and let us know the result.
Please change the language on your phone to French. Wait for 20 seconds until the change propagates to your watch. Then please enter "merci beaucoup". Is it slow when you enter text in French?
Thank you very much in advance for your help!

Glad to hear that it's working smoothly now. Thank you very much for the suggestion! We will definitely add the feature to the app.

downloaded lastnight and installed. liking it very much so far. uninstalled wear messenger this morning to give this a full run. will give some feedback once i've had a chance to take it through the ringer!
Edit: suggestion 1 - when selecting an emoji, you should have it return back to the message instead of staying at the emoji screen.
Really like this one, great job!

We are glad that you like the app. Thank you very much for your feedback about the emojis! Some users tend to enter multiple emojis at a time. Because of this, we don't close the emoji panel automatically. We are going to add an option to allow users to change this behavior though. We have many exciting features in the pipeline and will add them to the app in upcoming months. Stay tuned and please send us your comments. We are listening.

ok some more feedback:
when i reply to a message from my watch, when i open my phone, i see that the message i replied to is still showing as unread.
When i get a notification on my watch and i hit the reply button, i am taken to the keyboard. by the time i get to a button on the keyboard, i get another popup asking if i would like to reply.
hopefully these makes sense.

Using it on the regular. I like this app. Couple suggestions for future releases:
-ability to pick which number for contacts that have multiple numbers
-ability to go back a screen opposed to having to exit the app & start over
-themes
-there is a lot of space between the "a", the "s" & the "d". Perhaps those letters can be tighten together & the space be used to but common punctuation such as "?" and "." on the main keyboard.
Great job so far!

I believe the second item has been fixed in the new version which will be released soon.

blue5055,
Thank you very much for your feedback! We will work on the items you mentioned. At the moment,
1- to navigate to other pages (e.g., you are composing a message and you want to go to Inbox or Addressbook), you can go to the menu by pressing the "..." button.
2- to insert a single punctuation such as "?" and ".", you can press and hold the SPACE bar and then press the punctuation that you want. This is slightly easier than changing the layout back and forth.

Multi-touch-zoom
Tabbed browsing
Side bars: Left side bar will change into windows list you opened

-There still is some lag when browsing sites like XDA, and Facebook, tough.
The tabs stay at the top when scrolling! Lets hope they fixed the bug where clicking open in new tab didn't always work
could someone post the Dolphin For Pad apk? i'm on a Toshiba Folio 100 with cyanogenmod custom rom and obviously do not let me download
I'm using the new Dolphin for pad and holy crap its fast. I was actually quite dissatisfied with browsing on my GT but now its sweet as. I surf alot sites in New Zealand because we are moving there soon. Before it would just lurch but now with new Dolphin trademe and realestate.co.nz and inz cone up as if I'm on my desktop.

A new trick I found in this pad version is that you can use just two fingers tap the side of the screen to switch tabs.

I've found that if you're doing the longpress/open in background, if you just hold your finger on the background option for 1-2 seconds, it seems to open pretty reliably. Still annoying, but at least it works.

Lockscreen quick reply and text sound notification

Hey guys,
I have the at&t one x+ and was looking for a couple apps to make my life a little easier and to make the phone that more amazing. The first one is to be able to quick reply and quick text from the lock screen. The primary reason I want this feature is to enhance the battery life of the phone. Since I use juicedefender and I don't need to unlock the phone when I text (meaning I don't need to connect to WiFi) the battery life will be prolonged.
Another app/option I'm looking for is to be able to control the frequency of text sound notification. If I've been texting frequently I don't need to hear a sound notification every time. Example: maybe an option to receive sound notification if I havnt received/sent a text since 5 minutes from the last text, otherwise a LED notification will suffice. And it I'm currently using the phone a preview of the message on the status bar is all I need, no sound necessary.
Bonus question: is there a way to send chat messages on Facebook using landscape mode and not having to go through 3-4 steps ?
Hope to hear from you guys soon.
This is interesting. Im used to iPhone's notification shortcuts.

p.s it work with the stock lockscreen
Sweet, thanks for the recommendations. As of right now I'm going with chompsms to test it out. It seems like it unlocked the phone upon quick replying and goes back to the lock screen after the text is sent. I'll keep testing it out and the other 3rd party apps. I appreciate guys.

[APP][XPOSED]SMS Xposed 1.4.1: Wake on reception/Action buttons/Privacy option...

/!\ Important : I'm actively searching a dev to help me continue developing the module, if you're interested please contact me /!\
Hello!
This is the official thread for my Xposed Module SMS Xposed. Mainly aimed at the AOSP sms app (com.android.mms) and Hangouts (only the latest version is officially supported, please don't report bugs if you're not using the latest update).
/!\ It seems it's not compatible at all with TouchWizz rom, need more reports /!\
In this thread you can report any bugs, troubles (please see the procedure below) and suggestions.
What it does
All SMS apps:
-Wake on new message
-Flash flashlight on new message (NEW) (BETA)
AOSP SMS or Hangouts:
-Action buttons (Call, Quick Response, Mark As Read) (BETA)
-Added show button option - Privacy mode (NEW)
-Privacy option
AOSP SMS app:
-Custom sms icon color
-Replaces the Smiley Key with an Enter Key ( AOSP keyboard, untested on others)
-Disables fullscreen typing in landscape on devices where it's enabled
-Detects voice punctuation and converts to appropriate symbol (original feature is broken in many languages apart from English) - French, Spanish, German, Dutch
-Unlimited height for textbox option
Known issues
- /!\ It seems it's not compatible at all with TouchWizz rom, need more reports /!\
-Mark as read doesn't update conversations in Hangouts.
Planned features
-Custom voice conversions and commands, the first one will be something like "Send Message"
-More punctuations
Instructions and Download
-Xposed Framework must be installed and operational.
-Go in the Download section of Xposed Installer (that you just installed if you didn't already have it) , download and install the SMS Xposed module.
-Open the app and check the features you want.
-Reboot your device for changes to take effect.
-If you want to change settings later , you'll have to completely close the sms app and relaunch it.
Troubleshooting and bug reporting
First if a feature doesn't work or you encounter a bug/force close, be sure that:
-the module is ticked in xposed installer.
-you have the latest module version available
-you rebooted your device after a settings change or an update
-you're not using a SMS app where some features are not supported (some features only work with AOSP SMS or Hangouts, not the Touchwizz SMS app for example)
-Disable all other xposed modules before reproducing bug to make sure it is really SMSXposed related
If it persists, please provide:
- your configuration : device, rom, android version
- steps to reproduce the problem
- the relevant options you chose in the settings
- the debug.log file found either at : /data/xposed/debug.log ( for versions prior to Xposed Installer 2.3) or /data/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/log ( for 2.3+). Please extract it just after the problem occured
(the following part has been taken from the GravityBox thread where it's well explained )
In case you experience SystemUI crashes or other apps Force Closing, or device soft reboots, attach logcat from time
crash occurs. (use adb logcat *:E or your favorite logcat app from Play Store).
Please, don't attach big logs. Only the portion where error is clearly seen.
Please send links to your logs via PM as it can include sms and phone numbers from you and your contacts

Cyanogenmod has it in their messenger, it doesn't read what the person who is texting you wrote on the notification bar. It just shows the icon. Handcent also has that feature

Which feature ? You need to be sure your sms app is the one from google and not one from motorola. If you're trying the smiley button replacer feature you'll need to have the AOSP keyboard.

I'd love this as well. Not necessarily yellow, but hey, I'll take anything. Sometimes my status bar becomes a sea of greyscale notification icons. I don't mind missing new WhatsApp messages, but texts can a different story. Either way, great work!
Hi, could it be possible for you to add more customisation to privacy options?
Like choosing to show the name of the person who sent the message, but not the content?
More cool feature in privacy : add a "show" button the popup, so if the phone is in use by someone else, he will not see the content, but we don't have to disable that fonction every time the phone is in another hands!
I search for that for a long time, the only app to do that simple thing is chompsms.

Did you restart your sms app ? Other options are working ? It might be because CM tweaked the SMS app.
I will see if I can make it work with some well known 3rd party keyboards. Not sure if it will solve your problem though.

[MOD][Xposed] Statusbar Scroll to Top

Requires Xposed Framework!
This module allows you to tap the status bar to scroll (smoothly, at least that's what the API says) to the top of lists.
This isn't compatible with all lists in this first version. Chrome for example isn't compatible, or some manufacturer lists (like the Contacts app in TouchWiz).
If this is patented by a fruit-based company, it'll most likely get a C&D, so keep that in mind when you look forward to updates
Demo:
Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e6-sOWhwY0g
Video as GIF, FWIW, http://i.imgur.com/vNBTbQs.gif
Known bugs:
Manufacturer specific lists and some other custom scrollers (e.g Chrome) aren't supported yet.
Compatibility:
4.0 - 4.4 probably, I really haven't checked the source code, tested on Sony's 4.3.

That's stock behavior on iOS.
A bit far fetched, but do you believe it would be possible to add support for more than the standard list? Such as webview?
Since it seems a lot of apps are actually just frontends for a page in webview, plus a lot of browsers using webview, I imagine this could be the next target of your thinkering and would cover most cases. It would be great to be able to scroll to top in a browser too.

I'm looking into Chrome, they supposedly use some kind of standard scroller, since they have the blue overscroll indicator.
I've been looking for something like this since I left iOS. Hopefully you can get it working with chrome. This is great mod indeed!

nicely done, works flawlessly... i have few suggestions/comments
-having little issues with facebook app, it kinda works: moves up by a little but not all the way to the top.
-if possible, allow user to choose the scroll speed when status bar is tapped on? to me, it is kind of slow sometimes... just my opinion
anyway, really appreciate your works for xperia devices. :highfive:
many thanks:fingers-crossed:

Facebook take a few taps. Twitter is working perfectly! I'm sure this will be fixed!

Facebook switched me to the new version, and it works fine there, I guess you'll have to wait for the update that includes that, or Facebook downgrades my account
Second part is controlled by the system, I use a method called smoothScrollTo(0, 0). I'm not sure if that can be easily changed

If you get it magically working with Chrome chances are you'll make it work for a lot of other apps. So that's sweet.
Works great on s3-4.3.
Even with Firefox.
Thnx.

Seems like it causes certain apps to force close. Tapatalk for example, if I go in a topic then back by pressing the back key to my followed topics then press the status bar it will force close. What do you need from me to help diagnose this?
Edit: it does scroll to the top before closing though.
Edit 2: doesn't crash anymore, found out it's because of a broken pvr driver. Ignore this haha
What theme are you using? Is it a CM theme or something I can do with Xposed?
Really awesome module too! Saw it on reddit
Great module, thanks!

[MOD][XPOSED] Suggestions Toggle

I'm using Swiftkey pretty much since my first Android smartphone and it always bugged me when I wanted to type email addresses or other stuff the dictionary didn't contain. So when I type something and hit the spacebar the word would be autocorrected to something completely different. I always wished there would be a simple toggle to enable/disable autocompletion/suggestions. Well, now there is!
This module allows you to double tap any text box to enable/disable suggestions. It's tested on Swiftkey and Google keyboard both on Android KitKat.

See this baby being quite useful. Should have been part of the system from the start!
Will give it a try once that "issue" is resolved.
It's not really an issue. I only noticed it when being in Google Mail, double tapping in the subject, then going to the message body, double tapping and then going back to the subject field. So this use case is rather rare. Usually you are in Whatsapp or any other messaging service and operate only in a single field. Not multiple.
Is it possible that the app will remember my settings for certain fields? For example disable the auto correction when it meets again the input field of a mail address in kmail?
@theknut
Great mod idea. :good.
With June 30 update, works great on Stock 4.0.4 . What at treat. Thanks.
(why Swiftkey devs don't add a toggle for this is beyond me!!!)
I have been wanting something like this for a LONG time!
Suggestion
- It would be great if this toggle could be triggered by a SHORTCUT. Then, we could use a mod like "Gesture Navigation" to toggle the feature on/off.
Not working on my galaxy s4 running kit kat either, hope this is fixed soon as it's a great idea.
Not working on Moto G with Google Keyboard
Not working on Samsung s2 with swift key.
Edit....
Now it's works fine with the update fix... Thanks Dev for the fix. Great..

Works great now over here. Nice module!

I'm soo sorry. There was a stupid typo making it not work properly.... It's working now though, thanks for the heads up! Please grab it from the repo again! I'd appreciate if you could update your post so that for new users it doesn't look like it's not working :-S

Works fine on my LG P500 over multiling-o kb.
Suggestion: Choice of gestures. Why? Because that double-click is functional in various text-programs including messaging (seems to insert/remove new-line). Kind of limited because directional gestures will also be functional. Ideas?
This seems to just disable suggestions entirely when I'm using Swiftkey (beta if that matters). Double tapping does nothing, and swipe input (flow) is disabled.
Google Keyboard works as expected and I can toggle suggestions, but only if the input field originally allows for this. I was hoping that this would allow me to turn on suggestions for input fields that some idiot developer forced to have suggestions off, and it doesn't do that. Would be a great feature to see in the future!
Excellent module :highfive:
Works fine on the play store "L" keyboard FYI and TY!
N900T rooted stock.
This is great!
Thank you very much. I love autocorrect but it drives me crazy sometimes. Now the solution is "a double tap away", again, thank you
(I'm on CM11 maguro)
I don't get the point of this, at least with SwiftKey. Since you still type out the word instead of swiping it, you can always have SwiftKey accept what you wrote out - the word would appear in the leftmost suggestion.
This is totally awesome! :good:
HTC One (m7) here and it works like a charme!
Seriously...this solves a problem that has always annoyed me big time and I already made a note to see if it's "programmable" with Tasker and place a shortcut in the quicksettings menu. But it still felt to complicated...this is super intuitive and works flawless!
Thank you!

and the multiling kb gives the option on tapping in.
Anyway, this is a tiny module, use it when needed, ignore it when not. Painless and cost-free

@Archon810
Do you use the setting... auto space after a period? Sometimes, in some scenarios, in trying to spell out a long word that has periods or punctuation in it, SwiftKey keeps auto correcting and the usual method of using the top left suggestion box is virtually useless. Hard to explain. But, being able to temporarily disable suggestions/typos really comes in handy in this situation. I actually feel less stressed at times. Such a handy feature. Many have wrote to the SwiftKey devs over the years, asking for a similar Toggle. Instead, it manually takes 4-5 clicks to disable prediction. This module is the apitome of the usefulness of Xmodules such as this one. Thanks again to our dev @theknut.
