I have a GT-I9192 and its android is 4.4.2. I want to install a new OS for my device but I have confused. I can download an android 5 Rom from here and install it on my device but after hearing this news:
I apalogize. I cannot post any link. but for find video google this "Cm 13 [Marshmallow 6.0] For Galaxy S4 Mini Duos" the first video is what I'm talking about.
I doubt to install it. what would you do if you were me? install an android 5 or waiting for android 6. in your opinion how long it will be that a new guy release a reliable Marshmallow for I9192? one month? two,three,...

Simple. You can't. There is no 8.0 available for it yet. It will be a few weeks maybe a month before it gets it.

If you are wishing to get a touch of the android o without it's offical release, you can try out the android-oify xposed module
It would obviously not make your device android o but you will atleast be able to get a bit of what it actually is

since my other smartphone broke, I'm stucked with an old Alcatel C Pop 9 Android phone. Unfortunately it has the Android Kitkat version (4.4) and in order to use my banking applications among others, I need an Android version 5 or higher.
Could anyone provide his or her take on this?
I'm looking for a way to upgrade my phone on this level and for a stable custom rom that I can use with it.

A ROM has to be compiled for your device and its specs. You can't flash any ROM as you wish. Search if any are available.
I know that but my question was different. I'm sorry for my english but if I compile a ROM based on android 10 for my phone, would it run on that phone, who is from 2015?
I am a beginner in porting roms field and I want the easiest way for beginners to port any custom rom for any device.
The latest update for my device is Android 5.1.1 and it is obsolote. I know that the most appropriate solution is to buy a new phone, but I want to make a port Android 10+ from any custom ROM for my device, not to save money, but I want to enter this field because I am interested in it and also to share this Method on my YouTube channel.
I have stock rom Android 5.1.1 and I want to port for example DotOS 5, Lineage 17, BlissOS 13, Arrow OS 8 or etc... and thanks in advance
Not possible. It's too old to be upgraded to this version. I got my Samsung Galaxy J2 2016 upto Android 7.1.2 from Android 5 and then 6 (after support end).
