I am running cm 12.1 on my note 2 n7100 and whenever i install xposed framework manually via recovery i always get a bootloop..............please help

How didn't you find it? Anyway just to help you more:
Download the v78 sdk22 arm (maybe in the future it will be updated, but our S3 neo is arm and lollipop 5.1.1 is sdk level 22. Marshmallow (6.0) is sdk 23 and the future android versions +1 sdk. v78 is xposed version which may be updated in the future. Flash the zip via recovery, and then download from the attachments the xposed apk (v3.0 alpha 4). Install it normally and you're good to go.
For kitkat just install it normally from the official Xposed installer app.
And for lollipop install xposed installer and flash v78 sdk21 (5.0.2) or sdk22 (5.1.1)

Last time, I tested xposed v75 on temasek's CM 12.1 v18 unofficial on my i9300. It was OK as in it can be installed and running without error. However, the module that I need to run is not working (seems like it has not been updated for CM 12.1 yet).

Have u rooted your phone? If not, then root it first.
For installing xposed framework, install Xposed Installer app, the app will install the required xposed framework for ur phone.
