its there anyway to get the lg v10 tar to flash with lg flash tool? my phone is acting crayzy lately i used to sent messages from my phone at work and now soon as i get there i get a message saying voice service blocked
You don't use the LG Flash Tool on this phone as it does not have Download Mode. It uses fastboot and you flash partition images just like you do on a Nexus device.

Im trying to install the stock rom for my boost mobile lg tribute 5 but when i start lgup and begin the flash process. the program stops at 11% and throws out. Error:userdata unmount success. I have no idea what that is, and i cant continue any further my phone is stuck in download mode and i cant upgrade the firmware because of this userdata thing what the hell is that?
Can you get into the stock recovery? If you can perform a factory reset through that and try again. userdata partition might be missing.

6 mont ago I flashed a rom on my lg g2 - fulmics 5.1. For some strange reason I chose that my device was a D855 and so my D802 is now stock in a bootloop and pops up in lg flash tools as a D855.
As the device registers as a D855 the 'lg flash tool' will not flash a D802 rom. Fastboot mode is not an option any more, only 'download mode' is available.
What can I do?
I was thinking that if I could somehow get a recovery (twrp) for D855 installed, I could reflash with a D802 rom. Is this possible through download mode? If so, how to do it then?

Just flash your phone like you normally would, except you use the .dll linked above instead. Apparently the DLL linked above is a general LG G2 DLL that works for all models.
Note: When I flashed my phone, LG FlashTool gave me an error at the end of the flash process, but the flash was still successful.

So I rooted my device and life was good than I made something a system app and then I deleted it. :facepalm: Next thing I know I reboot and it comes to the unable to test corruption screen and the led light keeps flashing blue. I still have TWRP. Can it be saved?
I have access to fastboot via the bootloader screen. Can I flash from there?
Edit: and I a guess as soon as you start in twrp adp is activated . So I only need the kdz?
You can try the KDZ because that's basically fool proof, but you can also try to manually flash the partition image for the one that's broken. I think that's the system partition in your case.

You're best bet would be to put it in download mode and flash the latest kdz using LGUP or uppercut. I've always used the original LGUP but seems like most now use uppercut and seems like uppercut is probably a better choice. You will have to reflash TWRP after you get back up and running and root as well as using the kdz will replace TWRP.

I just try root my V30 so i flash H930 kdz to V30.(partition DL)
and i try factory reset on h930 rom.
but i see kill switch , i'm panicked and i flash korean kdz to partition DL. i think it was my fault. in korea rom, i saw no command with android.
and I flash h930 kdz. then i can't get in download mode. i should have used an editor, and flash korean kdz to refurbish...
but i didn't .
I have to go customer center.

if there is no screen then you might hard bricked the phone, if you can see the screen then you can still make it work,

Thx. Now i can see killswitch logo and h930 boot logo, no killswitch logo with no command logo. And fastboot mode says enable usb debug.
Get the LG software for windows, connect your phone and you might be lucky and it will download and install the right KDZ. Saved me once with my G5.

I was attempting to unlock my boot loader and flash a custom ROM, I was following a guide on YouTube specifically for this phone, and he was using US99610 firmware instead of Verizon firmware (to prevent uncontrolled vibration during 1st boot) I messed up the process and couldn't get back to TWRP, so I used his patched LGup tool to attempt to flash stock firmware back, because I could no longer use my phone's screen without connecting to HDMI and using a mouse and keyboard. I flashed it back to stock and everything seemed normal, until it didn't boot at all. I then tried to reflash the US996 firmware and LGup stopped at 4% with an error: SPC code does not match, please try again. Any ideas how I can unbrick it? If I connect it in download mode the tool still sees my phone fine, with the US99610 firmware on it. I can post pictures and a link to the YouTube video for further clarification
Flash it with partition DL via patched lg up. And this is not the correct section to post this in.
