I have a xiaomi redmi note 2 and cyanogenmod 12.1 so theme don`t work. I tried to install in all possible ways and nothing. It says failed to install the theme. More people with him? Any solution?

I refer to the themes that change skin(icons wallpaper) cell. I download through play store but when I install gives me error

Which rom have you? There are lot's of cm12.1 roms for redmi note 2

First at all thanks for your answer. The rom is: cm-12.1-20151220-UNOFFICIAL-hermes.zip
Do you recommend me another version 12.1 cm? Which one is the best or work well?
Well, when I enter themes and installed by the play store any theme, 15 seconds after uninstalls itself and It gets the following message "failed to install the theme"

Hello everyone, I'm new and this is my post (tho it's not new for me to mod my phone, have been doing it since Gnexus time and loved that phone until it died.)
Coming to the topic of the post, I've been trying to install the LineageOS to my redmi note 4x, but when I try to do that the TWRP locks me out with error 7 and doesn't let me go forward. Any suggestions? I've heard that the 4 SD and 4x are basically the same but with different LTE bands, so I have no clue on what is wrong.
i had the same error code when installing a rom on my apollo lite.
Please try the following:
start phone in recovery mode (twrp), go to Mount and uncheck "system"
optional: do a factory reset and
install the rom

Thank you for the reply. System in "Mount" was already unchecked, thought the factory reset before flashing the rom apparently did the trick, as I'm seeing the boot animation of LineageOS right now. I'll post furthemore if I need anymore help.

Yeah sure, I've got the lineage os since my last post here and it's been working fine. Network is a little bumpy but it's still unofficial so I'll take it.

So basically you can flash ROMs for Redmi Note 4 (Snapdragon) to any Redmi Note 4X (are the same devices?) ?

Yeah, basically the 4x is a redmi note 4 SD but with more bands unlocked. In fact, the global miui for the redmi note 4 SD goes without a hitch on the 4x

Yes it's working fine but only with rear camera in case of Redmi note 3.

Its weird, mine only working on front, back camera show only black screen.

you need at least Android N rom to run any GCAM with potrait mode. On miui 9 android 6.0 GCAM will not work. You have to install custom rom based on android 7 or 8.0 to get GCAM working. If you love miui so much like me, you can install Epic miui 9 for redmi note 3 which based on android 7.0 and GCAM will work on it with portait mode . Otherwise you can install NOS, VIPER OS, PIXEL EXPERIENCE etc . all thease are stock android rom .
edit: 7.3.1 installed and FC. portrait mode doesnt work in 7.1.1?

Wrong.
With unlocked bootloader user can boot in TWRP(not required flash) and:
Flash zip file to enable camera 2 or pull build.prop to computer, edit and push to Phone.

Well this what u write is still root access. If u have ability to modify/edit system files in android it means ROOT.

the phone of the picture is not a Redmi Note 10... it's a Redmi 10
are you using images from the Redmi Note 10?? maybe that's the issue

indeed that was the problem my phone is well redmi 10, finally I rooted my phone but without installing twrp always the same error too many links I patched boot.img with magisk and I installed magisk, thank you very much.
